Superpower Adventure from Planet Oxarien

Chapter 6: *Episode 6: The Birth of Shadows*

Episode 6: The Birth of Shadows

Title: "Echoes of Nothingness"

Scene 1: The Debris of Light.

The Earth is reborn, 10 years after the disappearance of the Eclipsium. Humans have erected monuments to Kairos and Vyrene… while forbidding all research into supernatural energies. But in the shadows, black spots appear: areas where light no longer penetrates, populated by whispering creatures.

Panel 1 (chiaroscuro): A scientist, Lira, studies a black spot. Her scan reveals a familiar figure: Kai-Vyr, distorted, extending a spectral hand. "You forgot…" "But the shadow remembers."

Scene 2: The Eclipsed.

The black spots give birth to mutant humans, the Shadows, capable of materializing fragments of the memories of the vanished heroes. Among them:

- Nyx (inspired by Nyxis): Adolescent Shadow capable of summoning weapons of black light.

- Khal (echo of Khalem): Silent giant whose skin absorbs light.

Disturbing Dialogue:

Nyx (to Lira): "You buried the Eclipsium… but it only changed shape. We are what you refused* to see."*

Scene 3: The Cult of the Old Gods.

A secret group, the Disciples of the Wailing, manipulates the Shadows. Their leader: Elys, a child born the day Kai-Vyr disappeared, capable of controlling the black spots. Her goal: to resurrect the Wailing to "purify" humanity. While this act, heroic for him, evil for humanity, is severely punished by the relevant authorities, the Oxarian government sentences any attempt to threaten the peace of the population to 100 years in prison. This sect had no good intentions, so who can stop it, because they do it soum soum?

Disturbing line:

Elys (drawing Kairos and Vyrene in the air): "The heroes were liars. I will show you the truth... even if it burns." A Machiavellian act that will cost everyone's future dearly.

Scene 2 (expressionist): Elys's drawings come to life, revealing nightmarish versions of the heroes: a Kairos devoured by his sabers, a Vyrene made of poisoned brambles. Such entities will show no mercy to humans. From their rebirth to life, they massacred 40 disciples to restore their energies. It's off to a bad start.

Scene 4: The Memory of Shadows.

Lira discovers that the black spots are gateways to the Void where Kai-Vyr has imprisoned the Lamentation. The Shadows have escaped from this void... And they bring something back.

Horror Sequence (immersive):

In a black spot, Lira confronts a Shadow that transforms into its double. "You're afraid of yourself, Lira. That's why you hate us." I must guarantee the stability and peace of humanity, which is why I will eradicate you. You do not deserve any soul rebirth, because you are a toxic poison for living species. Humans need to live peacefully.

Scene 5: The Wraiths Awaken.

Elys forces Nyx and Khal to merge with the nightmarish drawings, creating Vespera, an entity half-Lamentation, half-Kai-Vyr. Vespera begins to devour the black stains... and with them, reality. Souls trapped in the abyss come to strengthen his spiritual energy. Several thousand souls have entered his consciousness to support him mentally, physically, and psychologically. Lira wants peace, I want war. Her trembling voice creates earthquakes. Fortunately, they were far from the people, in a distant dimension.

Apocalyptic action (disorienting):

– Buildings melt into black ink.

– Affected humans become frozen statues of screams.

– Lira uses a prototype Black Light to fight, risking becoming a Shadow herself.

Desperate Retort:

Lira (her eyes turning black): "You want heroes?" "Here they are!"

Scene 6: Hour of Shadow.

Final Panel (Negative):

Vespera, uncontrollable, opens a passage to the Void. On the other side, a figure waits – Kai-Vyr, now guardian of the Void. But they are unrecognizable: a being of pure, glittering darkness.

born from Nothingness. a being of pure, sparkling darkness.

Final Dialogue:

Kai-Vyr (multiplied voice): "Lira… You have awakened what no one* should see."*

Elys (laughing): "Look!" "Even gods become monsters!"

Cliffhanger:

Kai-Vyr's hand reaches through the portal and grasps Elys. The camera reveals that the Lament was within her all along… and that she whispers: "Finally… "A body that won't break." Elys, dizzy, what? Why did you grab me? Do you want to eliminate me? No, but I want to coexist with you in your body, I'll be even more efficient.

Post-credits teaser:

In the library of Episode 5, the cursed book opens to the page for Episode 6. The text rewrites itself: "And so, the Shadows learned to dance…" "But who's leading the choreography?" Suddenly, a pixelated hand turns the page to Episode 7…

To be continued in Episode 7: The Ballet of the Broken

"Sometimes, the only way to win… is to let yourself fall."

Visual developments:

– The Shadows: Design in fractured silhouettes with bursts of black light.

Vespera: A body hybridizing black roots, wings of musical staves, and a face shifting between Kairos and Vyrene.

Color palette: Velvety black and dazzling white contrasted by splashes of toxic colors (radioactive purple, acid green).

Key themes:

– Toxic legacy: Are heroes saviors… or seeds of chaos?

Corrupted childhood: Elys embodies innocence manipulated into the ultimate weapon.

Forced duality: Do the Shadows, rejected by society, become victims or executioners?

This episode reverses the dynamic: yesterday's "heroes" are the ghosts haunting the present. What if the only way to break the cycle was… to no longer have heroes at all? The answer

may lie hidden in the Shadows, those souls lost between two worlds.
