SUPREME ARCH-MAGUS

Chapter 768: 33 Drops Of Divine Intent! [Bonus Chapter]

The last rays of the sun slowly faded, casting long shadows across the battlefield. The Demon Army, strengthened by the blessing of the Forbidden Goddess, roared in excitement, their monstrous forms trembling with anticipation.

The weapons pulsed with dark energy, their crimson eyes gleaming with hunger for war. They had waited for this moment—the chance to annihilate humanity once and for all.

On the human side, however, silence reigned. Their spirits were crushed, their hopes hanging by a thread. Their commander, Kent, was still absent.

Even the highest-ranking generals and Madam Clark stood in sorrow. They all knew the truth—without Kent, they were doomed. The demons were relentless, their numbers overwhelming.

Yesterday, Kent had failed to withstand even a single attack from the Forbidden Goddess. Now, without his presence, the army felt like an empty husk, waiting for death.

"Is there no hope?" a soldier whispered, gripping his trembling sword.

"We pray for a miracle," another replied, his voice hollow.

Then, suddenly, the heavens trembled.

A golden light burst from the horizon, followed by the deafening cries of an approaching army. The ground quaked beneath their march. The human soldiers turned, their eyes widening in disbelief.

A godly figure led the charge, his armor gleaming under the setting sun.

"The War God!" someone shouted in astonishment.

Maximus rode upon his divine chariot, his golden spear raised high. Behind him, an entire celestial army surged forward, their weapons glowing with divine energy. The sky cracked open, and warriors of light descended like falling stars, their radiance illuminating the battlefield. Thunder rumbled in the heavens as the divine forces readied for war.

The sight sent a wave of renewed hope through the human ranks.

"The War God has come!" the soldiers cried out in unison.

On the other side, the Demon Army faltered. Their jeers and taunts died down, their confidence wavering. The sheer presence of Maximus was enough to shake their resolve.

Just as Maximus neared the battlefield, a sudden rift tore through the sky. From the tear emerged another army, their formation precise, their energy cold and calculated. At their helm, radiating an aura of absolute authority, stood the Space God.

With a mere flick of his wrist, the air around him distorted, and time seemed to slow as he descended, his expression unreadable.

Behind him, more divine beings arrived.

The Storm God entered with a deafening roar, the sky darkening as thunder rumbled across the battlefield. Lightning crackled in his wake as he took his place beside Maximus.

The Goddess of Lust and the God of Music soon followed, their divine essence wrapping the battlefield in a strange, enthralling aura.

On the opposing side, several demigods appeared, standing firmly in support of the Space God.

"What is the meaning of this, War God?" the Space God's voice rang across the battlefield, his eyes locking onto Maximus. "Have you forgotten your oath? We all agreed not to interfere in the battle between humans and demons. Yet, here you are, breaking your word."

Maximus didn't flinch. His golden eyes burned with righteous fury. "I have no time for your political games. Step aside. I am the War God. My duty is to protect, and I shall do so."

The Space God scoffed. "Do you think the people of the spirit world will support such a reckless decision? Do you have no sense of honor?"

"I have no interest in honor if it means abandoning those who need me!" Maximus bellowed.

The gods and demigods murmured among themselves. The tension was rising.

Meanwhile, as the divine beings quarreled, the Forbidden Goddess wasted no time.

With a single gesture, she commanded the Demon Army to attack.

A deafening war cry erupted from the demons as they surged forward, their weapons dripping with cursed energy. The ground cracked beneath them as they charged, their monstrous figures moving with terrifying speed.

The humans barely had time to react. Their hope had momentarily been restored, but the divine beings were too busy arguing to notice their plight.

"Hold the lines!" Madam Clark shouted, rallying the soldiers. "Defensive spells! NOW!"

The ground shook as the humans desperately activated the magical barrier and defensive formations. But they knew these were mere obstacles. The demons would break through soon.

The Space God's voice rang once more. "Maximus, if you interfere, you will be marked as a traitor. You will never ascend to the ranks of the Old Gods."

"To hell with becoming an Old God!" Maximus roared, his spear crackling with divine power. "If you stand in my way, Space God, I won't hesitate to fight even you!" The War god declared with angry roar.

The fire god and others immediately moved beside the space god and asked, "Why are we stopping the space god? If he participates in this war, he will lose his right to become an old god. We will achieve our desire. Let's not stop him."

The space god felt frustrated to answer all his supporters. "Think about reality. The demon lord is already dead. The calamity might have already gone. The war god will only gain good things by killing the forbidden goddess with demonic origin. We must stop him." The space god explained in a cunning tone.

While chaos and politics played outside, Kent sat motionless inside his tent. He was oblivious to the battle. His mind was lost in a void of absolute emptiness.

Suddenly Kent opened his eyes as he came out of enlightenment.

A lone figure stood before him, clad in robes made of tree fibers, a long beard flowing down his chest. His aura was humble, yet divine.

It was the Tantric Sage—the same sage who had once blessed Kent on the Dead Sea. Kent did not understand for how long the tantric sage was waiting for him.

Kent opened his eyes, breaking free from his trance. Something had changed within him. His body felt lighter, his thoughts clearer.

"You have stepped into the Half-Sovereign Realm," the sage said, his voice calm yet powerful.

Kent inhaled sharply. He could feel it. He had unknowingly ascended beyond his limits. Yet, something was missing. He still hadn't found the answer he sought—the way to kill the Forbidden Goddess.

He clenched his fists. "I still don't know how to defeat her."

The Tantric Sage chuckled. "That is because you are looking in the wrong place. You already achieved 33 drops of divine intent in one go… really enlightenment is a blessing. It might be enough to kill a demi-god, But it isn't enough to kill a forbidden goddess."

Kent frowned. "Then where should I look?"

The sage's eyes twinkled. "What is the one thing she fears most?"

Silence fell between them. Then, like a sudden bolt of lightning, realization struck Kent. His eyes widened.

He knew.

He understood what he had to do.

With renewed determination, he rose to his feet, his aura surging like a storm.

Outside, as the gods quarreled and the humans struggled, a sudden golden light burst forth from Kent's tent. A powerful energy wave erupted across the battlefield, making even the Forbidden Goddess turn her head.

"Boom…"

"Ahhh…"

Before anyone realised what's happening, the head of Space God rolled down on the ground.

The entire world came to stand still.
