Chapter 347: Haha, No
After destroying the factory, and killing hundreds of Baiandrones, everyone escaped from the Baiandron Tribe's portal and arrived back at the hub.
Three people died out of one hundred and twenty-one.
It was an unfortunate, but irreversible fate.
However, the death of three people still shook half of the people.
Nobody wanted to die.
They survived the initial hell of this world-changing event, lived for constantly changing six months, and got powerful!
They didn't want to die!
It had been a long while since they had seen the deaths of such powerhouses, but Baiandrones were tough and a few careless decisions and moves killed three people during the war in the factory area.
"Let's continue. We still have over five hours to spend with the buff," Erix smiled as he looked at another tribe's door. "We shall enter the Merfinn tribe and clear one of their early areas."
Since the Baiandrone tribe had further challenges that they could handle, the other tribes should also have such challenges.
Everyone could easily infer that, so nobody objected and everyone soon entered the Merfinn Tribe.
This ocean area was yet again different. It was freezing and stormy, affected by magic in the water.
Unlike with the Baiandrone tribe, the group of 118 people directly faced powerful monsters of 70k - 100k in the snowy water forest.
The plant lifeform was tough and exotic here as well, bearing crystal-clear structures with eccentric internal patterns of their lifeform.
The monsters in this vast forest area were many, but not all in one place.
Each spot only had two to five monsters. Their powers were devastating for most, so they mostly focused on defending themselves while attacking, while the top rankers focused on killing.
[Jason: What the hell is with their weapons?! They are getting most of the rewards!]
[Leishun: Erix…That bastard has Metal affinity at the high realm for sure. Only their weapons and items are superior to others.]
[Yelwon: I wonder if I can commission from him?]
[Gabriel: I also want one. If I had that long sword of his guild member, my skills would definitely go above a notch. If he can create Metals, it means that the sword has such a perfect metal foundation of three elemental attributes that match that boy's]
[Leishun: Jason, you got the title of Destruction Forge because of your blacksmith-related combat class and also have a Magsmith sub-class, but your weapon is worse than his. What's going on?]

[Jason: Fuck you.]
[Jax: Jason's Metal affinity is at 3rd realm.]
[Jason: It's not just affinity, brah. That Erix has something else related to Metal that makes his crafts more powerful. Most importantly, how the hell does he have those exotic Metals of such a high tier? They are the key.]
[Yelwon: I don't know all about that, but your crafting is also worse. Do you see those attacks that his guild members are throwing from their weapons?]
[Koshal: Magic formations. His basic knowledge and vocabulary for magic is simply higher. That's why his and his wife's skills are so efficient and powerful.]
[Leishun: I know, I know. They are powerful. Far ahead of us, but let's not demotivate us by praising them all day.]
[Yelwon: Humph, we are discussing facts that are simply out of our reach at the moment, and that sounds like praise to you. Go work harder, kid. You're falling in ranks.]
[Jax: Antagonizing them is a fool's errand. I would rather form ties with their guild.]
[Jason: Fuck! I am low on Spirit Force and we got more fucking guests.]
The chat room turned silent again as the big group encountered a pack of monsters.
It was a pack of wolves numbering eleven. Each one was above 70k Power Level.
Everyone focused on combat, each playing their own role.
First, most of the people were not capable of keeping up with the wolves. Their speed was higher for them, and it was hard for these people to attack.
As such, they focused on buffing stronger ones while some tried debuff skills.
All people had various classes, with many focusing on different aspects of combat.
Control, Debuff, Attack, Buffs…
Erix and Rin didn't attack as usual. If they wanted, they could kill all wolves with ease.
However, they were not here to babysit others.
They kept their senses around for other enemies while letting the big group handle the combat.
To prevent casualties, Erix would save people who were about to receive fatal attacks.
Jason, the green spiky-haired guy in his thirties was a powerhouse ranked 16th in World Leaderboard.
He had a tank-class, and led a wolf or two turn by one for other groups, directing them to traps of multiple attacks.
However, he screwed up a few times and was fine until one of the dying wolves suddenly attacked Jason and he also failed to react properly.
However, he felt a presence beside him before the incoming fang projectiles could strike him.
The incoming attack was erased while the dying wolf froze in the air, causing Yelwon to promptly react as she released several blood-red spear projectiles that skewered the defenseless dying wolf.
"Jason, ranked 16th," Erix turned to the short man beside him and grabbed his spiky hair, "You are focusing on others, specifically my guild members."
"What's your intentions?" Erix narrowed his eyes.
Yelwon, Leishun, and others near noticed it but were busy in combat as it was time for another injured wolf to die.
[Leishun: What the hell? Why is Erix targeting Jason?]
[Jax: Amen. Jason's face caused my laughing nerve to activate.]
[Yelwon: He looks like he is about to piss. Pff…]
The others didn't comment, and chat soon died as everyone focused on ending the fight.
Meanwhile, Jason was stuttering and having an inner monologue of standing up to Erix and speaking.
"I-I was just looking at your items, man."
Jason gathered his shit together and forced a smile before laughing. "You scared me, man. You see, I am also a Magsmith, and with my class, I can enchant my items for a boost and some other shit."
"But when I saw those items you crafted, and how your members were doing freaking better than rest, I was curious."
Jason cleared his throat and grinned. "Boss, I-I can join your guild and become your assistant."
"Haha, no," Erix burst out laughing. "No need really."
"W-"
Jason then saw Erix disappearing, causing his face to turn blank.
'W-What the fuck… I fought with my self-esteem and decided to revoke my guild leader title and become his assistant, even telling him a bit about my class, but he fucking rejected me so easily….'
[Leishun: Hey, what happened? Why does your face look like you ate shit?]
[Koshal: Erix left after laughing. What happened, Jason? Did you tell him a joke?]
[Yelwon: Must be a good joke.]
[Jason: Joke….Fuck you all! Fuck him! Damn it! I'll show everyone who's the boss…in the future!]
[Amir: Don't shout out loud your thoughts like that in this chat. It's disturbing. We are fighting here.]
[Vanessa: That was really loud. Jason, stop crying and start recovering. We are almost done.]
[Jason: You all...damn it!]
Jason removed his spiritual connection from the spiritual chat.
