Chapter : Mc's powers (Spoilers)
Since you entered this auxiliary chapter, I suppose you are curious or want to check what these "Impostor powers" that the Mc will get are before reading this.
If you are not here for that and just entered this chapter accidentally, and want to discover what these abilities will be as the story progresses, then you can skip this chapter and continue your journey to chapter 1.
Now, for those that want to know, I will make it simple. I will make a list of all the powers that Mc got from God Amongus, and I will describe what they do.
Here goes nothing.
°
『Kill (Aka, Mc's most OP ability)』:
Grants MC the ability to INSTAKILL any living being that is injured by this ability. No matter how hard they are, how much regeneration they have, how impossibly strong their bodies are, etc... If the MC lands a hit with it, they will die.
When using『Kill』on his opponents, MC will teleport behind them before then proceeding to break their necks with his bare hands, stab them with a knife made also from his bones, or pierce their hearts with a tongue that will spring out straight from his stomach which will open like a mouth to let that tongue out. Depending on the distance, he can also shoot at them with a gun made from his bones. (Yeah, just like the killing animations)
When hit directly by any of these abilities, the victim will be killed regardless of what kind of power they have, how powerful they are, or whatever thing would possibly make them usually invulnerable to dying.
The guy has a skin of steel? The bullet/knife/tongue will pierce his skin anyway and he will die.
The guy can regenerate at super godly speeds? Well, he can't regenerate from『Kill』.
The guy has unbreakable bones and his neck CAN'T be broken? Doesn't matter, he will be unalived as soon as the MC puts his hands on his neck either way.
You get the point, right?
In summary: It's an ability that can kill anyone, doesn't matter who it is, instantly.
The disadvantages that this ability has are: It can't be used on non-living beings like robots and such, and he becomes kind of vulnerable to attacks when performing it.
Finally,『kill』also activates on instinct when MC is about to be killed or harmed beyond what he can endure. So he can end up killing who he doesn't want to accidentally. (Not that it will happen in the story, just speaking hypothetically)
°
『Vent』:
This grants the MC the ability to place "vents" on the floor, wherever he wants, and later on travel through these as if teleporting. Much like traveling through wormholes, maybe?
Let's say, for example, MC puts a vent in his bathroom and another one in his bedroom. After putting both vents, Mc can "teleport" between these after entering them, or teleport to any other vents that he has put before and that are within a certain distance.
In summary, This skill works the same as venting in Among us works, but with the perk that here MC decides where the vents are. Being also able to erase the vents that are already placed, so that he can place them in other places if he needs to.
Plus, these vents are invisible to the eyes of others, so only MC knows where they are. And they are only visible when MC enters them, only to disappear instantly after he already teleported.
The MC will have only 5 placeable vents at the beginning, but he will be able to increase the number (and the max distance they can be from each other) later on with training.
Disadvantage (Maybe?): When MC enters a vent, there is a small timeframe where other people can enter with him too. So he has to be quick if he doesn't want to be followed.
°
『Sabotage』:
Grants the MC the ability to affect to a certain extent electrical-fuelled machines, and make them malfunction as he pleases, all from a distance.
However, he can only make the machines malfunction if he is within at least 100 meters of them and once every 3 minutes. (Both of these limitations can be trained so that he can do it from a larger distance and at a faster rate)
So yes, if he trains this ability enough, MC can pretty much become a walking bomb of electromagnetic pulse. However, not so devastating as to leave an entire country without electricity for days. That would be simply too much... Or not?
°
『Shapeshift』:
This grants the MC the ability to acquire the appearance of anyone he has seen in perfect detail.
However, for this, the MC has to be nude, as the clothes of anyone he shapeshifts into will be made from a biomaterial that comes from his body when shapeshifting. It's pretty much like Toga being nude after every transformation. However, he will not need their blood to transform.
However, whenever he transforms, he will be enveloped in an egg/cocoon(?) that will hide his body as his appearance changes (Like the shapeshifter on Among us), unlike Toga, who is enveloped in some kind of mud(?) whenever she transforms.
And, just like Toga (Prior her Quirk awakening), his shapeshifting will not allow him to gain the Quirks of other people, just their appearances, and it will only last for a limited amount of time (Which he can increase with some training).
Also, the cocoon in which MC changes appearances is as hard as steel (And a very thick layer of it at that). If his enemy is capable of breaking that, they can harm him. However, the transformation process lasts very little, and he can hide to avoid being harmed while doing so, so it is very unlikely it will happen.
°
『Impostah Strength』:
As the minimum for ejecting an Impostor in the videogame is 2 crewmates, I thought that at the very least, an Impostor is equally, if not a little bit weaker than 2 people (crewmates). Which made me give the MC a body that it's almost two times better than a normal one.
Though, when considering that humans in MHA seem to be stronger than humans in our world, I will make him twice as strong as humans in THAT world. Which can make him do some pretty crazy things. (Aizawa fucking ran over an electrical wiring like a fucking ninja, tell me that's not superhuman)
Though, don't expect him to destroy buildings with his fists, because that won't happen.
According to some of my calculations, he should be able to lift around 600 kg by the time he is 15... Which is akin to a small giraffe, according to chat GPT.
°
『Vanish (NEW!)』:
Well, Innersloth decided to update their game and grant the impostor a new power, and since it seemed convenient and cool to add, here we are.
There's not much to say about this power. MC can turn invisible for a few seconds, before then appearing again. That's all. It has a small cooldown of some seconds, so he can't, like, vanish, then appear for a millisecond only to then vanish again.
I say a cooldown of around 5 to 10 seconds sounds good enough. I might change it later depending on how it looks.
°
『True Form (AKA: if-MC-had-an-ultimate-move-it-would-be-this)』:
I thought about this ability because of the new game mode (Now not so new, since I have been stockpiling chapters for a while), in which an impostor goes berserker, and you as a crewmate can only hide in hopes of surviving.
In summary, this ability allows MC to "transform" for a limited amount of time into a more alien(?) appearance, in which his speed, strength, resistance, sturdiness, etc, increase by several folds (and continue to increase as the transformation time limit approaches). Allowing him to truly become a killing machine.
However, in this form, MC can't use any other ability besides『Kill』.
So he is just a killing machine in that form.
Also, he will look really ugly.
°
『Glasses Quirk (Because his impostor powers are not a Quirk 』:
This Quirk gives the MC eyeglasses in front of his eyes that are made from a biomaterial created by his body.
They originate from right above his ears, where normally the frames of common eyeglasses tend to be put so that the glasses don't fall.
Mc can alter their color, their size, and even make them block a bit of sunlight (So he can create sunglasses). However, he can't take them off, and the only plausible way to do so would be to break them. However, they regenerate in a few days with no problem.
Finally, and so that you don't get your expectations up, the glasses don't do anything. They function like normal eyeglasses.
Even with training, they wouldn't do anything. At most, MC would just win more control and precision when changing their shape and color, as well as making them a bit bigger, but that's all.
No special abilities, nothing.
-Sigh...-
Only if Quirks would evolve... Oh, wait.
°
That's pretty much every ability that God Amongus gave him (Except for the Quirk that came included with his new body after reincarnation). However, he will first have to go through a shocking experience to get to discover his abilities. Nothing too heavy, don't worry. Just a slight shock for him that will activate his survival instincts, and thus, his powers as an impostor sus among us omg!!11!.
