Chapter 767: Desperate Struggle [Part 2]
A spear could easily reach a swordsman before the latter could strike his opponent.
But as long as that spear strike was deflected, the Swordsman would have the chance to counterattack.
Visual recognition was important when it came to battles.
If one couldn't even see what kind of weapon the enemy was using, it would put you at a great disadvantage.
'I guess I have no choice but to use my trump card as well,' Vincent distanced himself from Mikhail, whose danger had significantly shot up in his point of view.
Vincent slowly rotated the sword around his body, and after a full rotation, a second Vincent stepped out with a smile.
The handsome young man did this a second time, creating a second clone, which made Mikhail frown.
'Those clones are real,' Mikhail narrowed his gaze because his sixth sense was telling him to not take the clones lightly.
When the three Vincents stood side by side, the one in the middle roared as he charged at Mikhail with his sword poised to strike.
Mikhail prepared to intercept him with his weapon, but halfway Vincent's charge, the handsome young man ran in a different direction.
At the same moment, Thirteen's brother heard the whistling of the wind, which prompted him to defend himself.
A clinking sound spread in the surroundings as an arrow bounced off from Mikhail's invisible axe.
Seeing this, Thirteen uncontrollably frowned, as he recognized the skill that Vincent just used. It was the same as the one his former host had used when he was alive.
Coincidentally, they had the same name and were similar in multiple aspects. He was already ninety percent certain that Vincent was the reincarnation of his previous host, but seeing this technique made that ninety percent into one hundred percent.
And because of this, he also understood that his brother was in danger, knowing that this was one of his former host's trump cards, which he liked to use in one-on-one battles as it gave him an absolute advantage over his opponent!
He wanted to tell his brother to watch out for Vincent's second Clone, but since he was a judge in the tournament, he remained silent and simply watched the battle with great focus.
Mikhail, who also noticed that something was amiss, gave the arena a brief scan.
It was then that he realized that something was missing.
To be exact, Vincent's second clone was missing!
As if preventing him from understanding his current situation, the First Clone, who was an Archer, fired three consecutive arrows, forcing Mikhail to block and focus on the two Vincent that he could see.
Vincent laughed internally as he lunged at Mikhail with his sword poised to strike.
His opponent couldn't see his second clone, but he perfectly could.
He was attacking from Mikhail's left side, while his clone was closing on his right side.
This pincer attack was very deadly, but what made it deadlier was that the Archer Vincent was also aiming for the kill.
This three-pronged attack from three directions was extremely difficult to overcome because his opponent had to fight on three fronts, dividing his attention on Vincent and his two clones.
Mikhail could feel danger in his surroundings, so he gritted his teeth and swung downwards.
The entire arena shook, making Vincent and his clones lose their balance.
Mikhail had actually cut the arena in half, making both of its sides flip.
It was not only the arena that flipped at that moment.
The spectators and Claude flipped at the same time, which was especially true for the latter.
Thirteen, on the other hand, pinched the bridge of his nose. He could already foresee the nagging that he would receive from Clark's father, Claude, after which he'd be pestered for repair fees.
Also, since his brother seemed hell-bent on destroying the arena, it meant that the next match would be delayed or postponed until the arena was fully repaired.
'Such powerful brute force,' Vincent, who had just regained his balance, couldn't help but stare at his opponent who was poised to strike a second time with an upward slash.
The moment Mikhail initiated his attack, rocks and dirt flew upward, creating a surging wave toward the archer, blocking the latter's vision and preventing him from targeting Mikhail.
But, it didn't end there. Mikhail once again waved his invisible axe as if it was as light as a feather and swung downward.
This completely obliterated a third of the arena, making Vincent almost collapse on the ground due to lack of balance.
Mikhail continued to swing his axe in every direction as if he had gone berserk, making the hair on the back of Vincent's neck stand on end.
'This guy is a monster.' Vincent gritted his teeth because although no one saw it, his second clone was actually annihilated by one of Mikhail's swings, proving just how powerful his blows were.
But he pushed aside his complaints to the deepest corner of his heart and decided to use another one of his trump cards.
The Archer Clone and Vincent both charged at Mikhail at the same time.

The Clone held an arrow in his hand and thrust it forward like a spear.
A moment later, he transformed into a spinning comet, going all in for a single strike.
"One with the sword!" Vincent roared as he, too, transformed into a spinning ray of light that flew toward Mikhail alongside his clone.
This was his strongest attack, but it had a drawback.
Once unleashed, he would lose all the strength in his body, and he would be unable to move for a few hours due to exhaustion.
Mikhail took a deep breath and raised his arms preparing to strike.
A powerful suction erupted in his surroundings, as if his invisible axe was sucking up all the aether within its range for one ultimate strike.
"Gigaton Axe!" Mikhail roared as he swung his axe to meet Vincent's and his clone's attack, equally betting everything in this single strike.
It was truly a desperate struggle between both sides, but both of them also knew that their ultimate attacks would decide who would be the winner of this match, which had far surpassed the battle between Clark and Terence in the Semi-Final Tournament.
