Chapter 807: You’ll Make A Fine Queen [Part 2]
High above the sky, Thirteen and Sherry saw a giant cocoon shrouded with pulsing purple light.
Although he didn't know what kind of monster it housed inside, he could tell at a glance that it was at least stronger than Rocky.
Either a Peak Rank 8 Sovereign or an Initial Rank 9 Monster.
But what made Zion's expression serious was the fluctuation coming from the cocoon itself.
The color was pulsing faster than ever before, which was a sign that it was about to be born.
"Let's get out of here, Sherry," Thirteen ordered.
For some reason, he sensed great danger just by looking at the cocoon, and he didn't dare risk it.
Currently, his forces were split in different places.
Some of them were training Clark, Vincent, and Char in the Valbarra Archipelago, while the rest were guarding Erica, Shana, and the others.
After Zion's battle with the Goblin King, which nearly cost him his life, Erica and Sherry made him promise to not do anything reckless again.
Although he had beaten a Majin Prince and a Majin King, both were achieved under special circumstances.
Right now, Zion didn't have the means to fight against a Rank 8 Sovereign or an Initial Rank 9 Monster.
For some reason, he believed that his strongest trump card at hand, Rocky's Lava Domain, would not work against this monster.
He trusted his instincts and decided to flee before the monster that was inside the cocoon hatched from it.
The Adamantine Falcon didn't need to be told twice, and it focused all of its effort on flying away, going all out at the very start.
Thirteen, on the other hand, ordered some of the Demons under his command to observe the cocoon.
He also ordered them to do everything in their power to distract it if it ever tried to follow him and Sherry.
Over fifty demons and their clones observed the cocoon from a distance.
Half a minute later, the pulsing purple light became so intense that it shot a pillar towards the sky. Explore more at My Virtual Library Empire
"Fly lower, Ace," Thirteen ordered the Adamantine Falcon. "Hurry!"
The Falcon obeyed the teenage boy despite not being its Master.
It had interacted with him enough to know that his Master and Thirteen had a special bond, which prompted the Adamantine Falcon to listen to his command.
Flying as low as it could on the ground to avoid the monster's detection, Ace sped away in haste.
A few seconds later, the ground trembled, followed by an earthquake that expanded in a vast area, including the location where Erica's and Shana's group was camped.
"What's that?!" Mildred pointed at the purple pillar in the distance.
Shana's face immediately paled, sensing something vile and dangerous coming from that purple pillar of light.
"Let's get out of here!" Shana said, her face filled with horror as the overwhelming feeling of dread washed over her body.
Erica, who also felt that something bad was going to happen, immediately gave orders to everyone, including the teenagers accompanying them on their journey.
Derek, who had only closed his eyes for a few minutes, was awakened by the earthquake and immediately went on full alert.
"Where should we go?!" Diana asked Erica, who had taken the role of their leader.
"To the East!" Erica replied without hesitation.
Diana nodded and urged the horses to run in that direction.
As the wagons all traveled to the East, Erica hugged Shana, whose face had become as pale as a sheet of paper.
When the Saintess gazed at the Pillar of Light, she thought she saw two purple eyes meeting gaze with hers.
A moment later, she heard a voice speak directly inside her head.
"You'll make a fine Queen."
Shana's body uncontrollably trembled as that cold and dangerous gaze locked onto her body.
At the same time, the cocoon, which was shooting a pillar of light toward the sky, split in half.
A creature that looked very much like the Alien in the movie Alien versus Predator emerged from the egg and roared toward the sky.
The creature didn't look like it originated from Solterra.
No. It was something that shouldn't have been born in the first place.
It was a biological weapon that the Artemians had created and sent to Solterra all the way from the Moon of Artem.
Ever since they had lost their Moon Princess, the King of Artem had wanted to take revenge on Solterra.
Because of this, he devised a plan to teleport this creature, which was the result of countless experiments, to the world that would become its new nest.
It would need to find a lady who would breed more of its kind and be its queen, which the world of Solterra didn't lack.
All the monster needed was a maiden who possessed a strong Holy Attribute, perfectly complementing its Darkness attribute.
Their union would give birth to hybrids that possessed both traits, spreading their existence to the world of Solterra like a virus. And in the end, they would dominate all the other species around them.
The King of Artem made sure that this biological weapon would be cunning, stronger, and more brutal than even the Majin Kings of Gomorra.
Once they had taken a foothold in the world, it would be very hard for them to be wiped out, unless all the Kingdoms, as well as the Jinns, worked together to eliminate this threat.
The Alien Monster, who had locked onto the presence of its chosen Queen, went on all fours and sprinted in her direction.
Right now, its priority was to capture Shana and go into hiding to increase the population of its species.
It would only come out to the world once its preparations were finally complete.
The Clones paying close attention to it immediately reported the direction where the Monster was headed to their Master.
When Thirteen realized that it was headed toward Erica and Shana's location, the teenage boy made a split-second decision.
"Fly in that direction and look for Erica," Thirteen ordered. "Tell them to use their Flying Mounts and fly as high as they can."
"What are you going to do?!" Sherry, who could tell that Zion was planning to do something dangerous, asked anxiously.
"Sherry, I promise to keep myself safe," Thirteen hugged the young lady to calm her down. "So, do your best to keep yourself safe. Find Erica and take the rest of the Hero party away."
"Ace is strong enough to carry a wagon to the sky, so the teenagers we rescued can board it. I will delay this monster for as long as I can. Focus on getting away. The sooner you do that, the safer I'll be."
Thirteen didn't even wait for Sherry's reply before he jumped off the Adamantine Falcon's back.
Rocky rose from the ground to swallow him before the Magma Bal-Boa dove into the ground, speeding in the direction where the Alien-Like Monster was.
His opponent was a Peak Rank 8 Sovereign, which was stronger than him by a Rank.
However, since his Master was willing to fight alongside him, Rocky would do as Zion commanded and buy enough time for Sherry to warn the others and take them to safety.
