Before the adventurous expedition was decided, every family had already dispatched some experts to explore these ancient ruins.
It was a pity that there wasn't much of a discovery therefore, not many people who came here to explore after that.
From what Nie Li knows, Chen Linjian somehow got his hand on the map of the Ancient Orchid City Ruins, which is why he decided to explore this place.

"Finally! Ancient Orchid City Ruins!" Nie Li thought.
Nie Li turned his attention to information presented by A.I.Chip based on all the records about Sacred Empire construction planning and the explored sites marking he purchase from some adventures.
"From the information from previous adventures, there is two possible routes here : The first one is towards the west gate. By walking along the walls, one can reach the main city quickly. However, what can i possibly find on this route?" Nie Li shook his head.
"If the information is correct, then there is only the commoners housing area there. Adventures have already searched the commoner's houses. There is nothing to be found there. The only expensive and useful goods can be found in big families, their location are also easy to deduct since they all have huge courtyard and bigger constructions."
"But the area is too large, how should I pinpoint the important areas and houses of big families?" Nie Li shook his head thinking about this, obviously he can't know the exact location but one thing he do know is, if he were to find centre most and protected area, then that must be The City Lord's Mansion.
Nie Li again looked at the information projected before him, he imagined the central axis from the construction plans of Sacred Empire and tried to figure out the rough direction.
'Assumptions are one thing and exploring is another, I have an advantage in this field so even if I cannot get an exact idea of the place, it would be not much trouble to actually find it through some good old fashioned trail and error.' Nie Li has full confidence in his competence and ability to find some treasures on his own.
His extension knowledge about and A. i. Chip was a main reason he decided to go solo rather than sticking with the group.
"Lets get started then!" Nie Li thought and he started to walk forward.
He had his eyes on three specific areas so far that he has roughly marked. Out of them, one must be the place he is looking for.
He slowly advanced towards the Ancient Orchid City, walking along the edge of the walls and chose a relatively quick and safe route. His eyes were shining as the A.I.Chip scanned the area continuously, he also kept his guards up, reading for any unusual signs and avoiding any beasts.
He kept an eye for any movement and clue marking trails of Demon Beasts, and tried to not cross paths.
Roars of demon beasts came from the depths of the Ancient Orchid City Ruins. Aside from demon beasts, Nie Li could sense that there would, occasionally, be some groups of people. They were, also, from Glory City. They came here to explore the ruins of the Ancient Orchid City.
He took out a bunch of bolt from his inventory, then took out a weird green color viscous fluid and smear it onto the arrow. This green fluid is a poisonous reagent he has created, it is deadly enough to give a Peak Silver Rank Demon Beast one-way ticket to Afterlife.
It is also slightly useful against a Gold Rank beasts but the effects are much weaker.

Inside the ruins of Ancient Orchid Ruins
Nie Li was progressing much slowly than he wanted. Occasionally, there would be Giant Blue Armed Apes appearing. These demon beasts have a height of two meters. Their thick arms were like black pillars, but they were very agile and they are generally Silver ranked.
Nie Li would avoid them at every point, he knows full well that following any scuffle these beats would keep coming. Still he was becoming very annoyed by their constant interruption.
Just when Nie Li began to slowly leave the nearest bunch of beasts behind him and advanced towards his destination, the amount of Giant Blue Armed Apes suddenly grew.
They amounted to over twenty of them, all forming some sort of encircelmemt around Nie Li.
*Tsk*
"These beasts are more cunning than I originally thought, maybe they have a leader. No matter, i can still leave them behind." Being encircled Nie Li was cautiously looking around, checking the A.I.Chip scan to find a way.
Suddenly he heard a warning signal intoned by A.I.Chip.
"Roar!"
A deafening roar sounded. The whole ground began to tremble violently. As though ones eardrums were destroyed by the deafening roar. Nie Li looked at the warning signal!
[Beep! [Warning! Warning! Dangerous creature with high energy level is approaching! Scanning similarities, screening database, searching for a match.....The beast is assumed to be a Spiritual grade demon beast, Strength : 5-star Silver rank, almost into Gold rank, Source - The Sapient Beastpedia. ]
"It's a spiritual grade demon beast!" Nie Li said in horror.
Ordinary demon beasts are the same as human beings. They are split into Bronze, Silver, Gold, Black Gold and Legend rank. However, among these levels, there are still Normal, Spiritual and Emperor demon beasts.
Lets take the Giant Blue Armed Ape for example. An ordinary one wouldn't be able to form spirit in their mind. However, a Spiritual grade Giant Blue Armed Ape would already have formed a spirit in its mind. It, also, has the intellect of an ordinary 10 year old human. Its strength is also a lot stronger than Normal grade Giant Blue Armed Apes. As for Emperor level, the spirit in its mind would be a liquid state and would have the ability to change its physical body into human form. Its strength is also extremely frightening.
Nie Li's brow slightly knitted. Demon beasts of the same level are usually slightly stronger than humans, especially demon beasts like Giant Blue Armed Apes. They are extremely hard to handle, and this Giant Blue Armed Ape's actual strength might be able to rival a Gold rank expert!
With Nie Li's current strength, dealing with such a demon beast is not possible.

The Spiritual grade Giant Blue Armed Ape flew to the top of the walls. His gaze was fierce and was looking for Nie Li.

It screamed and seem to send a command, every normal Giant Blue Armed Ape looked at each other for awhile and quickly began to search for him. Nie Li, hiding in the forest looked at this and cursed his luck.
Thankfully entering the dense forest wasn't convenient for the Giant Blue Armed Apes who's physical size was big.
Nie kept his eyes focused on the Spiritual grade Giant Blue Armed Ape. Previously, Nie Li smeared a special potion on him rendering the beasts unable to pick up his smell, he was baffled about how was he encircled.
Nie Li knew that this spiritual grade beast has a keen instinct and staying here is too risky.
Nie Li silently bring out a pair of gloves from his inventory and equipped them, then he pressed his hands on the tree behind which he was hiding. After a while Nie Li strangely began to climb the tree with his hands like spiderman.
This glove is made out of Pine Direwolf fur, A Gold rank beasts. it has a special conductivity towards soul force which enable the tiny furs hidden underneath to become sticky and rigid, and form a pincer like tiny hooks.
When the furs are processed properly in a certain way then preceded by installing a particular inscription, one can create gloves that Nie Li has.
It has great defensive ability and also very convenient in climbing and stuff. The usage or even the information about this is lost in the annals of time, this is why Nie Li could purchase the skin quite cheaply compared to other Gold Rank beast.
Nie Li slowly crawled to top and position himself in the blind spot and then took put his crossbow.
Sou Sou Sou!
He calculated the distance and accuracy with the A.I. Chip and after calibrating he shot, the arrow flew out.
At this moment, *sou* a sound was heard. A cold light cut across from the shadows of the corner.
The arrow had cut through the gap of the branch at an extremely tricky angle and headed for one of the Giant Blue Armed Apes.
Pu!
That arrow struck the Giant Blue Armed Ape. That Giant Blue Armed Ape wailed and fell from the high wall, landing heavily on the ground and caused the dust to cover the surrounding area. That Giant Blue Armed Ape struggled for a mere moment and quickly become stiff.
