CHAPTER XVII

PLOT STORY:

Ruby, a young woman, discovers a shocking truth about her family's past and her own identity. She meets Ava, a mysterious woman who is connected to Ruby's family secrets.

As Ruby and Ava fall in love, they decide to escape from Ruby's grandfather, Nikolas, who is determined to keep the truth hidden. Nikolas, a powerful and ruthless man, will stop at nothing to protect his reputation and family secrets.

Ruby and Ava flee to a secret island, where they hope to find safety and happiness. However, Nikolas is relentless in his pursuit of revenge, and the couple must fight to protect themselves and their love.

Meanwhile, Maskman, a mysterious figure from Ava's past, reveals shocking secrets about Ruby's family and Ava's connection to them. As Ruby and Ava navigate their complicated past and present, they must also confront the danger that Nikolas poses to their future.

MAIN STORY:

Dipti introduces Ruby to Maskman. Maskman smiles and says to Dipti, "You guys couldn't hide for long, Ruby finally caught up with you." Dipti nervously says that Ruby discovered Ava's truth and Ava fell in love with Ruby, so she brought Ruby to Maskman to decide what to do next.

Maskman smiles and says he has no issues with Ruby or her brothers, but his revenge is against Nikolas. Ruby asks Maskman if it's true that her father and Ava's father had an affair. Maskman confirms that Nikolas told Rana Pratap (Ava's grandfather) about the affair, and Rana Pratap forced Surya Pratap (Ava's father) to marry Jenna.

Maskman reveals that Nikolas lied to his son, saying Surya betrayed him by marrying Jenna. Partap Singh (Ruby's father) believed Nikolas and married Radhika. After Ruby's birth, her father tried to forget Surya, but he returned to India and planned to elope with Surya and Jenna.

However, Nikolas discovered their plan and killed Ruby's and Ava's parents. Maskman saved Ava and sent her to England with his friend Johnathan. Maskman says Ava is a good person and has always listened to him, and if she loves Ruby, he won't separate them like Nikolas did.

Ruby asks how Maskman knows all this, and he reveals that Surya Pratap was his elder brother. Ruby accuses Maskman of lying, but he convinces her by calling Doctor, their family doctor, who confirms Maskman's story.

Ruby goes to Ava and hugs her, asking for forgiveness. Ruby's eyes are filled with tears, and she's extremely sad because she trusted her grandfather the most in this world, but now that trust is broken. Now, she only trusts Ava. With tears in her eyes, Ruby says, "Please, never betray me. I love you so much."

Ava becomes emotional and extremely happy hearing Ruby's words. She says, "I love you too, Ruby. I've already spoken to Sir, and we're not going to get entangled in this revenge drama. We'll go far away from here and never come back." Ruby's delighted to hear Ava's words and asks, "Really, you're not going to stay here? You'll come with me?"

Ava smiles and says, "Yes, we're going far away from here. Sir has given me permission. We'll leave tomorrow for a place that's a secret, and it's a surprise."

Next morning, Ava and Ruby get ready to leave for a new place. Ruby is extremely happy because she's starting a new life, but at the same time, she's sad and has many questions in her mind, like why her grandfather did what he did? How could he kill his own son? But Ruby wants to forget all these things and start fresh with Ava.

She doesn't want her grandfather to hurt Ava like he hurt Ava's father. Ava understands Ruby's emotions and holds her hand, saying, "Ru, don't worry, no one will find us there, and no one will separate us. We'll be very happy there."

Ruby smiles and says to Ava, "It will be just like you're saying."

Ava arrives with a car, and Ruby asks her, "Whose car is this?" Ava replies, "Sir gave it to me. We'll go in this car."

Ava then asks Ruby to get inside the car. Ruby gets in, and Ava starts driving. As they leave, Ava tells Ruby, "The journey is long. If you want, you can sleep."

Ruby makes a wired face and says, "Oh Ava, who sleeps at 11 am?" Ava laughs and says, "I was just saying."

Ruby asks Ava, "How long will it take for us to reach?" Ava replies, "Our car is going at a speed of 100 km/h. It'll take us only 6 hours."

Ruby asks, "Will we stay there forever, where we're going?" Ava says, "No, we'll only stay there for 2 months. Then we'll return to England and stay at Mr. Johnathan's house."

Ruby says, "You've told him that you're with me?" Ava replies, "Yes."

Ruby says, "He's not in any danger, nor is Anurag at his house." Ava says in a tense tone, "I asked Sir about this, and he said I don't need to worry. He won't let anything happen to Mr. Johnathan."

Ruby says, "That's good to know."

The journey was very long, and Ruby fell asleep soon. When she woke up, she found herself in a beautiful painted house. As she stepped out, she was shocked by the breathtaking view - they were on a stunning island.

But there was something strange - Ruby hadn't seen Ava anywhere. She searched the house but couldn't find Ava. She went outside and looked around, but Ava was nowhere to be seen. Ruby became very worried.

Just then, someone put their hand on Ruby's waist from behind. Ruby realized it was Ava and asked her angrily, "Where did you go, leaving me behind?"

Ava put her head on Ruby's shoulder and said lovingly, "I went to get some groceries, and when I came back, I saw my baby enjoying the beach." Ruby asked Ava curiously, "What island is this?" Ava laughed and said, "Oh, I forgot."

Ruby asked Ava to stop teasing her and tell her the truth. Ava said, "This isn't an island; it's Sir's private property in Mansoori. We haven't left Mansoori at all. We have to stay here for two months, and no one will find us here."

Ava explained that Ruby's grandfather had filed a police report against her, and Sir wanted to keep them safe until things calmed down. Ruby became tense, worrying that Ava might leave her. Ava reassured her, saying, "I'll never leave you, but I might have to leave my chances behind."

Ruby was overjoyed to hear Ava's words and offered to cook something for her. Ava agreed, saying she was very hungry.

Nikolas held Ruby's photo in his hand, glaring at it with intense anger. He said, "Ruby, you've made a big mistake. By running away with a girl, you've tarnished my reputation, and I'll make sure to take revenge."

He then called someone and spoke angrily, "If you find Ava anywhere, kill her on the spot. Don't show her any mercy. Give her such a brutal death that no one would have ever imagined."

He ended the call, still seething with rage.
