Taming the Obsessive Attachment

“Regardless of how much of a mess things were between me and Jae-jin, in the end, we would’ve ended up like this. Even if we fought for three years, by the fourth year, you said you liked me.”

“…….”

“I feel the same. No matter what happened, I think things would’ve turned out the same with you. Even if you weren’t a deviant, even if you were born as a proper Awakened and became my Guide earlier—wouldn’t we have still ended up like this?”

“…….”

“I would’ve always wanted you, Jae-jin. And I would’ve made it happen one way or another.”

Is that so……?

Would we have ended up like this no matter what……?

Whether Kwon Jae-jin regressed or not, whether he was a deviant or not, no matter what happened…… would they have still come together in the end……?

No. That seemed far too optimistic a thought. But at this point, there wasn’t much reason to argue against it. Kwon Jae-jin was painfully aware of just how madly Seo Eui-woo craved him.

“Alright, then…… let’s just say that’s true.”

“It’s not just saying—it is the truth.”

Seo Eui-woo spread his palm open. In his hand, an unseen but violent force began to spiral together.

It swirled fiercely, gradually condensing into a single point.

“…….”

Kwon Jae-jin closed his eyes without a word.

Maybe if Seo Eui-woo just read all of his memories, it would be easier to lay everything bare and move on.

Then, at last, there would be no barriers left between them.

Seo Eui-woo wouldn’t need to dig into the four years he didn’t know.

Kwon Jae-jin wouldn’t need to long for the four years he had lost.

‘Maybe…… we should’ve done this from the start.’

It was good that he had finally made up his mind, even now.

The lights throughout the house flickered and pulsed. The TV, which had been tuned to a news channel, crackled with static before the screen suddenly went black.
It was as if a thunderstorm had erupted right in the middle of the living room.

The condensed and gathered ability radiated an overwhelming presence.

The repressed monster that had grown alongside Seo Eui-woo—something deep, black, and writhing within the abyss—stretched and awakened. As he took his time, persistently drawing out his power, it condensed into a mass of pure and potent energy, shining more brilliantly and dazzlingly than any gem in existence.

Invisible yet palpable, unknown yet terrifying.

Seo Eui-woo took a deep breath and pulled Kwon Jae-jin into his embrace. Jae-jin offered no resistance, surrendering his body to him. He let his limbs go slack, quietly complying as he waited for Seo Eui-woo’s inevitable intrusion.

“I’m going in.”

His fingertips touched the center of Jae-jin’s forehead.

And then, he plunged deep into his memories.

02.Seo Eui-woo’s First Life

The 6th Residential District. A late night with dim, hazy moonlight.

The streetlights lining the alley shattered one by one, their flickering glow erratic before bursting apart. Uncontrolled ability surged wildly, crushing everything in its path.

Seo Eui-woo had long since surpassed his limit. He could only move as instinct dictated.

Somewhere, he felt a faint pull. A presence that suited him—a Guide—was being relentlessly tracked by the vast, unstable abyss within him.

Awakeners were strictly forbidden from entering civilian residential areas without authorization. Normally, he would have adhered to that rule. But right now, Seo Eui-woo had no room for such considerations. The power he was born with was shaking him to the core, screaming at him with all its might.

There.

His Guide was there.

Slipping through the shadows, Seo Eui-woo struck like a raptor, seizing his target in an instant.

Without hesitation, he wrapped his hands around Kwon Jae-jin’s throat and shoved him deep into the pitch-black alley.

“Kuhhuk!”

There was no real need to confirm, but just to be sure, he pressed a hand against Jae-jin’s chest.

Inside Kwon Jae-jin’s heart, he felt it—a small, incomplete core.

A core that only an Awakener could possess. Most were born with it, but some, like Jae-jin, awakened it belatedly, becoming deviants in the process.

“I knew it. It’s you.”

“Ugh… kuh… What are you talking about…?”

“My Guide.”

As he drew near Jae-jin’s core, Seo Eui-woo’s own core trembled within his chest, resonating in perfect harmony. It was flawless. A match so perfect, it sent a torrent of rapturous ecstasy cascading through him.

“E-Esper-nim… I believe you’re… mistaken. Let me go.”

Jae-jin barely managed to force the words out. Seo Eui-woo hadn’t even tightened his grip that much, yet the pain on Jae-jin’s face was evident. Not that it mattered. Nothing mattered to Seo Eui-woo right now.

His core felt like it would burst if he didn’t start guiding immediately.

His vision blurred with desperation—he needed to latch onto that soft mucous membrane and shove his cock inside without delay.

“You’re wrong. A mistake. Should we check right now? See if you really are my matching Guide or not?”

Hurry, hurry, hurry, now, faster!

“Open your mouth.”

If he had his way, he would’ve torn Kwon Jae-jin’s clothes to shreds right here, pinned him down, and taken him. But this was the 6th Residential District. If they were discovered, Jae-jin would be executed on the spot, and Seo Eui-woo wouldn’t escape severe punishment. No—perhaps it wouldn’t end with mere punishment. He too might be deemed uncontrollable and disposed of.

Seo Eui-woo forced Jae-jin’s mouth open. He needed to suck his tongue, but the deviant Guide in front of him still didn’t seem to grasp his situation. He clenched his teeth tightly in resistance, momentarily catching Seo Eui-woo off guard.

A Guide refusing to guide—he had never heard of such a thing.

It was their duty, their very reason for existence. A mission entrusted to them by nature.

Ah… is it because he’s a deviant?

Swallowing his fleeting doubt, Seo Eui-woo twisted Jae-jin’s jaw open with a gloved hand. Forcing his tongue inside, he pressed against the mucous membrane of his mouth, and at that moment, his instincts trembled in pure, white-hot ecstasy.

It was an irresistible temptation.

He had only intended to confirm the bond and then take Jae-jin to a special residential district. But he couldn’t bring himself to pull away. Not yet.

He needed to suck his tongue, to keep sucking, licking, rubbing, and grinding against it until it was worn down to nothing.

This wasn’t nearly enough.

“Ugh, get off—hah… ah!”

“Mmm…”

After what felt like an eternity of sucking and biting Jae-jin’s tongue, Seo Eui-woo finally pulled back, agonizingly slow. A thin strand of saliva stretched between their tongues before snapping. He flicked his tongue out and swallowed it, as if reluctant to let any of it go to waste.

“See? It works. Guiding…”

His long, narrow eyes curved as he murmured, his voice thick with satisfaction.

Dizzy with electric pleasure, he felt as if he could stop breathing and still be fine. His entire body felt like it was floating, a heady, overwhelming euphoria leaving an uncontainable grin on his lips.

As his long, delicate lashes fluttered, he finally took a proper look at Kwon Jae-jin.

Up until now, he had been too consumed to even register the man’s appearance.

Jae-jin was dressed in a perfectly fitted suit, with a neatly knotted tie. His black, straight hair was immaculately groomed, and his jet-black, unwavering eyes gleamed silently in the darkness. His features were sharp and striking, their structure firm and defined.

Even at a glance, he was a man who stood tall without a single waver.

Though he was gasping for breath, his glare at Seo Eui-woo remained unchanged. He was inherently composed, his expression naturally impassive.

So this is what an S-Class Guide looks like.

He had never seen one before.

The pinnacle of all existing Guides. The first-ever S-Class Guide.

It was nothing short of tragic that he had awakened as a deviant.

“You’re my match,” Seo Eui-woo murmured, eyes gleaming. “No wonder I couldn’t find you all this time—you were hidden away in a place like this.”

Seo Eui-woo murmured in satisfaction as he tightened his grip around Kwon Jae-jin’s neck. If Jae-jin screamed, things would get troublesome. Seo Eui-woo still had enough rationality left to know he needed to teleport away—immediately.

“No… khhk, a Guide? That’s impossible… ugh… First, c-could you… ngh, let go… I can’t… breathe…!”

Jae-jin twisted his body, trying to break free from Seo Eui-woo’s grasp. But Seo Eui-woo pinned him against the alley wall with force, pressing down on his chest to keep him from moving. Jae-jin attempted to kick him away, but of course, it wasn’t a real threat.

“Haha. I told you, didn’t I? You are.”

Seo Eui-woo knew that if he wanted, he could subdue Jae-jin with just one hand. If he really wanted to, he wouldn’t even need to use his hands—his psychokinesis alone could keep him completely restrained.

But he didn’t particularly feel like oppressing him that much.

He had only just found his Guide after all this time. And even the fleeting touch of guiding from earlier had felt so good.

“My Guide. You’re my Guide…”

Without hesitation, Seo Eui-woo teleported. A flash of brilliant white light burst through the darkness-drenched alley, as if a camera flash had gone off.

“Let’s hurry up and guide.”

It was like passing through a narrow tunnel and suddenly emerging into a vast space—his vision shifted in an instant.

They were now in the special residential district, inside the bedroom of Seo Eui-woo’s seaside mansion. The walls and ceiling were all made of glass, offering an unobstructed view of the ocean.

Seo Eui-woo was accustomed to teleporting, so he effortlessly pinned Jae-jin down onto the bed. But Jae-jin was not. Having experienced teleportation for the first time, he seemed disoriented.

It was normal. After a few times, the body would adjust quickly, but the first time always left the senses completely scrambled.

“Ugh… aaah…”

Jae-jin’s unfocused eyes darted around the bedroom. He hadn’t fully grasped what had just happened—how the location had suddenly changed.

On top of that, the dizziness left him looking dazed, completely overwhelmed.
