Guiding often led to holes being stretched and torn, but breaking bones was a different matter… Even though the healing factor would restore everything to normal, he still felt guilty.
Rather than breaking him, it was better to put him to sleep.
Seo Eui-woo wanted to cherish Kwon Jae-jin. After all, he was the guide Jae-jin had finally found, so of course, he was precious. If Jae-jin had heard this from his perspective, he would have thought it was some deranged bullshit, but Seo Eui-woo was completely sincere.
And so, Seo Eui-woo safely knocked Kwon Jae-jin unconscious, then kept shoving into the hole. When Jae-jin eventually came to, Eui-woo choked him out again and continued fucking him.
Day and night, they did nothing but fuck, only stopping when an emergency call alert finally jolted him back to his senses.

A century ago, the first Gate Impact occurred, and creatures in the form of various monsters poured out from inside the gates.
After that, gates began appearing simultaneously all over the world, and people were helplessly slaughtered by the creatures.
It was a horrific end to the old era, a catastrophe that signaled the near-extinction of humanity.
42.1% of the world’s population perished, and more than half of the Earth’s surface was lost to the creatures’ habitat—a bitter history of defeat.
Then, as if by a miracle, Espers and Guides—those capable of opposing the creatures—began to appear. Thanks to them, humanity, on the brink of annihilation, barely managed to survive, and the human world, which had descended into chaos and barbarism, gradually regained stability.
The surviving nations scrambled to maintain some form of government, relocating their citizens to regions with minimal creature infestations. By gathering the remaining population into increasingly smaller territories and establishing new residential zones, they sought to protect their people.
Awakened individuals generated protective barriers around these residential zones, patrolled the borders, and continued to fight for their safety. As living standards improved and resources stabilized, national leaders wanted more than just survival.
At first, preserving remnants of the old civilization within the safe zones and sustaining human society had been the top priority. But now, the objective had shifted—to expand the frontier, eradicate the creatures, and reclaim the prosperity of the pre-apocalypse world.
In these turbulent times, the quickest path to national strength and wealth was to nurture stronger Awakened warriors and deploy them to secure resource-rich lands.
Thus, nations began forming armies of Awakened soldiers, imposing strict control and management over them while offering wealth and prestige in exchange for venturing further into harsh, uncharted territories.
In reality, waging an aggressive territorial war was the only way humanity could continue to survive. Even now, somewhere on Earth, new gates were opening, and creatures were pouring out.
If the Awakened focused only on defending the narrow safe zones, the rest of the land would inevitably fall completely under the creatures’ dominion. And if that happened, centuries later, humanity would be overwhelmed, unable to handle the exploding creature population—an apocalyptic scenario.
Before that could happen, the Awakened had to fight, kill the creatures, and destroy the gates’ cores.
To extend humanity’s survival even a little longer.
They had to keep killing and taking.
And, naturally, Seo Eui-woo was at the forefront of that battle.
KIEEEEEEK!
A giant bat—one of the Beta-class creatures—shrieked at a high frequency as it lunged. Seo Eui-woo fired, planting a bullet right into its eye, and marveled at how much faster his body was moving than usual.
The guiding effect was truly noticeable in combat.
The psychic energy that had once leaked uncontrollably from his body was now completely subdued, as if it had never run rampant at all. Even the monstrous being coiled deep within his abyss had settled down, lying dormant without stirring.
How… How is this possible?
Seo Eui-woo couldn’t suppress the smile creeping onto his lips as he used telekinesis to crush the skulls of the incoming bats one after another. Their brains burst like fireworks, and chunks of flesh rained down, covering the Awakened soldiers battling below in blood and gore.
Seo Eui-woo had the luxury of fighting from the air, but the others were struggling, stuck on the ground.
—Captain Seo. Don’t overuse your abilities.
The voice of Lieutenant Colonel Jang Tae-san came through his holographic visor. He was the commander of the 1st Special Task Force.
Jang Tae-san was an A-rank Esper, a veteran who had survived past his forties without falling in battle.
“I’ll be mindful, Lieutenant Colonel Jang.”
Seo Eui-woo forced down his laughter as he responded.
Overuse? What nonsense.
He hadn’t even tapped into his true power. He was barely using the excess psychic energy that naturally leaked out, yet he was already being called out. Jang Tae-san had sharp instincts, making him someone to be especially cautious around.
—What’s your berserk risk level?
“Below 20%.”
—That’s quite low.
“The new experimental drug for this quarter is highly effective. It seems to be a good match for me.”
—Is that so? That’s good news. But don’t become too reliant on guiding substitute drugs. Always be prepared for supply shortages.
“I’ll follow orders, Lieutenant Colonel Jang.”
Of course, even Jang Tae-san wasn’t capable of seeing through Seo Eui-woo’s blatant lie.
Not just this small lie about the drug’s effectiveness—that wasn’t even worth mentioning.
Seo Eui-woo had been sustaining far deeper lies ever since his days as a trainee, ones he had staked his life on. Pretending to eat, sleep, and function like everyone else was just the surface. He was hiding something far more explosive.
The truth was, Seo Eui-woo had been classified as an S-rank Esper solely based on the psychic energy that overflowed from him. Not once during his evaluation had he ever revealed the immense power lurking in the abyss within him.
If the Center were to find out about that… What measures would they take?
Seo Eui-woo had managed to endure twenty years without proper guiding, avoiding a rampage, only because he had never once drawn upon his true power.
If he ever attempted to wield the unfathomably ominous and wicked force within him, he would inevitably require S-Class guiding. Without proper guiding, he simply couldn’t use it.
So instead, Seo Eui-woo only allowed himself to use the faint trickles of power that leaked out despite his restraint—never the true ability buried deep within him. Thanks to that decision, he had managed to scrape by, making do with mismatched guiding and substitute drugs.
But that was a thing of the past now.
…Kwon Jae-jin.
Even in the pitch-black cave, his shots never missed as he put bullets cleanly through the creatures’ heads. And all the while, his mind was occupied with thoughts of Kwon Jae-jin.
He wanted to destroy the gate core and get home as soon as possible.
Back to his home, where his guide, Kwon Jae-jin, was waiting.
Once the thought of Jae-jin took root, impatience gnawed at him relentlessly. In the rush of answering the emergency call, he hadn’t even had the chance to take care of Jae-jin properly. He hadn’t cleaned him up, hadn’t washed his body, hadn’t even made sure he was comfortable—just left his unconscious form lying in bed before running out the door.
By now, Jae-jin had probably woken up.
How was he doing in Eui-woo’s absence?
From the looks of it, he had no idea what was happening to him.
Eui-woo’s smile vanished completely as he lowered his gaze. His dry, gray eyes were eerily still—so devoid of emotion they seemed desolate.
His senses sharpened, picking up everything—the pounding of his heart, the pulse in his veins, the rhythm of his breath, even the faint sound of his own eyelids blinking. Moments ago, he had felt like his body was in good shape. Now, he realized the truth.
It wasn’t enough.
Not nearly enough.
He tried to picture Kwon Jae-jin’s face, his eyes, his voice… and naturally, his mind wandered to Jae-jin’s body.
His tongue, red and soft, parting as he gasped. The warm, firm muscles shaped perfectly to fit in his arms. His round, tight ass. The snug, narrow entrance that clung desperately to him every time he drove in.
Every time he buried himself inside, the way Jae-jin’s insides clenched and trembled, the way his tender flesh yielded and tightened around him—it was sickeningly good.
There was something about Kwon Jae-jin, about his guiding, that went beyond mere pleasure. Something absolute.
Even now, Eui-woo wanted to abandon this mission, forget the gate, and return to Jae-jin. He wanted to teleport straight back and push himself into every opening of that body—his mouth, his ass, anywhere—until there was no part of Jae-jin that wasn’t filled with him.
He had spent all this time doing nothing but guiding before this emergency call, and yet here he was, thinking about it again. His lower abdomen felt heavy, an uncomfortable tightness forming between his legs.
…Ha. What the hell is wrong with me?
Eui-woo clenched his teeth, trying to shake off the thoughts.
Luckily, the other Awakened were all fighting below while he hovered alone in the air.
At least no one would notice that he was hard in the middle of battle.
