Taming the Obsessive Attachment

Kwon Jae-jin placed his palm on Seo Eui-woo’s face, his fingertips brushing softly against his skin. It was the first contact in what felt like an eternity. So long, in fact, that it seemed almost unreal.

“Ah.”

Seo Eui-woo’s eyes widened in shock, his reaction bordering on disbelief. The fact that Kwon Jae-jin was willingly guiding him felt like a miracle.

For a brief moment, his ability wavered. The invisible force that had been pressing down on Jae-jin’s face lifted, and the heavy, suffocating air dissipated. Seizing the opportunity, Jae-jin pushed himself up.

“My memories… Seo Eui-woo, my memories. Even just a fragment. It doesn’t have to be much. Just a little—anything. Please, bring them back.”

Breathing heavily, his expression twisted in frustration, Jae-jin moved closer to Eui-woo. He cupped his face with desperate hands, his fingers caressing, clutching, before pulling himself into Eui-woo’s embrace of his own volition. But it wasn’t nearly enough.

Jae-jin’s chin trembled as he pushed his face forward, aligning his lips with Eui-woo’s. He missed slightly, his lips landing at the corner of Eui-woo’s mouth, but it didn’t matter. He was too overwhelmed to care where he kissed.

“Don’t you want to guide? You do, don’t you? I’ll do it for you.”

His breath came in gasps as he pressed his lips anywhere and everywhere on Eui-woo’s face, rubbing against him without restraint.

“I’ll do it, so just—just try to restore my memories. Just once. Even if it’s just an attempt. Please, look inside my mind again. Maybe there was something you missed last time. There might be a clue—a lead to bring them back…”

Jae-jin continued to kiss him repeatedly. Seo Eui-woo, frozen like a tree struck by lightning, finally twisted his face into a scowl.

Whenever Jae-jin touched him, resistance was impossible. Yet, the fact that he had to resist in this moment felt nothing short of cruel.

“Kuugh… Ugh… Are you telling me to gamble? With your life on the line?”

Eui-woo jerked his head away, dodging Jae-jin’s lips.

But Jae-jin refused to be pushed aside. He grabbed the front of Eui-woo’s shirt, yanked him back, and pressed on, adjusting the angle to fully lock their lips together. His tongue slipped between them.

“Eui-woo. Eui-woo. Seo Eui-woo…”

It had been so long that emotions surged, nearly overwhelming him. If he wasn’t careful, he might start crying.

Jae-jin forced Eui-woo down onto the bed, straddling his torso. Eui-woo glared up at him with a savage expression, his teeth clenched in frustration, while Jae-jin frantically pushed the blanket off his own body.

“I said I’ll guide you. Let’s do it. Just—just stop. Seo Eui-woo, you back down too. Let’s both take one step back.”

Jae-jin crossed his arms and desperately pulled off his T-shirt, flinging it to the floor before pressing himself against Eui-woo again. He was frantic, tugging at the turtleneck Eui-woo wore, trying to strip him bare.

But before he could slip his hands underneath the fabric, Eui-woo seized his wrists in a bruising grip. He didn’t even bother to regulate his strength—his rejection was rough, almost violent.

“Shut up. Stop spouting nonsense! If I were going to accept an offer like that, I wouldn’t have held back all this time.”

Eui-woo slammed Jae-jin’s arms down against the pillow beside his head and used his free hand to yank the blanket up. He had to cover Jae-jin’s exposed skin—right now, immediately.

But Jae-jin fought back with all his might.

“Ha, and when you were jerking yourself off to me, that was fine? Now you suddenly want to act rational with those crazed eyes? Don’t fucking pretend like you’re above this.”

He knew exactly how those gleaming gray eyes looked at him.

Like he’d snap and lose his mind if he couldn’t touch, lick, and shove inside.

He was even offering to guide him, so why the fuck was he resisting like this?

Jae-jin struggled and pressed his knee between Eui-woo’s thighs. Even through the fabric, the contact made Eui-woo flinch, his expression twisting noticeably. Not only that—he had already been hard before Jae-jin even touched him.

“Ugh—!”

Eui-woo panted harshly, his waist instinctively bucking forward. His hand twitched as if reaching out, but he clenched his fist instead, barely suppressing the urge.

But while he managed to hold himself back physically, his ability lashed out. The force he emitted tore the blanket to shreds, leaving the ruined fabric useless as a barrier. Through the tattered gaps, Jae-jin reached forward.

He grabbed Eui-woo by the collar and yanked him down, crashing their lips together before he could resist.

Their mouths met in a violent, feverish kiss—breaking apart, reconnecting, again and again.

“Just fucking give up already! How long are you planning to keep this up? I’m sick of this! I want to guide! I will guide! Just let me!”

“You’re the one who should give up, Jae-jin! Your memories—who cares! You don’t need them! You can live without them, you won’t die without them! Just let it go and move on! Why are you making such a fucking fuss?!”

They kissed like they were fighting, completely losing themselves.

“A fuss? Did you just say I’m making a fuss…? You don’t get it because you’re an awakened one, but normal people—those who live in regular society—family is the most important thing to them. That’s just common sense!”

“Yeah, well, I don’t know that common sense! What the fuck is family supposed to be? I don’t give a shit! I don’t care about anything as long as I have you! See? It’s simple! Can’t you just try thinking like me for once?”

“Family isn’t some disposable trash you can throw away whenever you feel like it! It’s something you can’t trade for anything else, a one-and-only—an irreplaceable fucking existence, you son of a bitch…!”

Jae-jin clung to Eui-woo’s clothes, repeatedly trying to strip him. But each time, he was shoved away, and Eui-woo’s resistance only grew more aggressive.

With a violent push, he sent Jae-jin crashing into the headboard. A dull thud echoed as the impact rattled through his skull. His vision blurred, and dizziness washed over him as he swayed unsteadily.

“Kuugh—!”

“So what? Are you gonna live glued to your family for the rest of your life? No, you’re not. You’re going to live with me.”

In that moment, Seo Eui-woo overpowered Kwon Jae-jin. He pinned Jae-jin’s shoulder against the wall and twisted his wrist, immobilizing him. It was a delicate balance for Seo Eui-woo to restrain Jae-jin without hurting him.

“You won’t be able to see them anyway, and even if you regain your memories, it won’t matter… So just remember me! Only me!”

“Ha, is that what you really want? For me to only remember you, Seo Eui-woo?”

Jae-jin, his arm twisted, shook his head vigorously. He had no idea what to do. He never expected Seo Eui-woo to reject him so vehemently. He thought Seo Eui-woo would eagerly accept his offer to guide.

“Are you afraid, Seo Eui-woo? Afraid that if I regain my memories, I’ll go back to my family?”

Jae-jin’s dark eyes trembled, unable to focus. Seo Eui-woo, equally distraught, was enraged.

“I’ll kill you! Do you think I’ll let you go? And even if you regain your memories, will you leave me? Do you want to? If that’s the case, I can’t do it. I won’t let you go!”

“I won’t go back! I won’t! I’m a mutant; they’ll kill me if I return. I’m staying with you, Seo Eui-woo. Didn’t I tell you that?”

“That’s what I’m saying! If the restoration fails, you could die. Why risk it? Just stay with me!”

“I don’t know! Just guide me, you crazy bastard! Before my head explodes, let’s guide! I want to guide.”

“Don’t… don’t say you’re dying…”

The heated exchange abruptly halted. Seo Eui-woo breathed heavily, glancing down at Jae-jin, who was pinned beneath him. His cool gray eyes were fixated on Jae-jin’s half-naked body, scanning it obsessively.

Feeling Seo Eui-woo’s gaze, Jae-jin blurted out desperately, “Seo Eui-woo, suck my cock. And fuck me, put it in me.”

“……”

“You can tear me open, I don’t care! Just do it! Quickly, Eui-woo. Please.”

A powerful wave of energy pulsed around them, like ripples spreading across a still pond. Seo Eui-woo’s eyes blazed as he looked at Jae-jin, his long lashes fluttering as he sought confirmation of Jae-jin’s intent.
