Chapter 359: Blessed Race
The horses neighed and moved; the blasting kept coming from the lantern bells, creating no man zone around the cart.
Seth, from inside, has focused his attention on the bells. They have automatic aim and attack.
That shouldn't be surprising because they are actually in charge of warning Seth from danger.
Of course, they can aim and attack.
But one thing was they prioritised those that were close by. They also do not shoot at a monster twice.
There was one beast that was attacked. He wasn't injured much but no attack reached it again despite him not being dead.
But the moment the beast moved to attack the cart again when another attack reached it.
With 39 stamina Seth can surely hit the damn drum harder and continually.
But still, it wasn't enough to activate the mechanism. Well, he knew how to speed things up, but he wanted this exhilarating situation.
At least he should test his hard-earned strength and stamina, right?
He used both hands and rammed at the drum with all his strength.
Bamm!
Bamm!
The blast speed increased but the power hasn't changed.
Seth was learning. Ever since he used his 39 strength to hit the drum the power blast has almost reached limit. What increased when he added his attire was the blast released.
Each lantern bell released a normal blast every two to three seconds. Sometimes there were longer delays.
That was at normal 39 strength. But when it was doubled the blast power increased slightly but reduced to normal at a certain moment. But what truly increased was the blast-released interval.
It was now at exactly 1 to 2 seconds. The delay was 2 seconds after multiple blasts.
Even now, with both hands as one and hitting the drum, it was blast released speed that slightly increased.
Seth immediately activated Shifting Armour. Now his strength, on average, has quadrupled.
There was a qualitative increase in the blast power as well as the speed. In just a moment monsters can't even reach within a few meters of the cart and even rammed it.
Only beasts that were fast enough to evade. Currently, there were two beasts above the ceiling using their ability to claw the roof to reach Seth.
Suddenly, one of the swaying lantern bells swayed higher, and a blast landed on one of them. He was hurled away injured.
The other one also faced the same fate.
This wasn't the first time that happened. But it did take quite some time before one of the lantern bells responded to the beasts above the cart.
"Move!"
The stationary cart began to be pulled by the horses. Two of them and now the front lantern bells focused blast strikes at the front of the horses.
Seth stopped, panting, he was tired a bit. Sweating as he observed the dots of sound on the large sound drum were blinking with light.
"Still not enough!" Seth smiled as he felt a slight chill under his skin. And immediately, a beast bigger than the cart rammed at it.
The cart swayed about to fall, but the constant blast on the beast's body made the beast stagger back, and the cart returned to normal.
But if one sees that they will know the attack on the beast was a mere nuisance.
Its body was robust, filled with fat and meat. It looked like a combination of rhino and buffalo. Its eyes are naturally blind but its horns vibrate and show it the surroundings.
The blast landing on its body was like an irritating poking of a child on the ground.
The beast only staggered back and built momentum and rammed again.
Thank goodness the horse pulled the cart away but that little attack made the cart sway and roll on one wheel for a moment and was about to come back to normal.
Another large beast dove under it and pulse power pushed the cart from the ground, now tilted to the side. If it fell it wouldn't be on the wheel.
The two horses jumped and galloped in the air, and two appeared on the ground.
Immediately, a beast like a giant white cat but with two tails and two mouths arranged on top of one another.
The mouth below has human teeth arranged, and the one above has sharp, pointy teeth that always snarl with unnerving sound.
It attacked the house, and immediately they vanished. The car flying up came down, and the two horses above the air touched the ground. They, too, were attacked by the two-mouth, two-tailed, large white cat.
Seth felt apprehensive facing that beast. It was disturbing just looking at it. Its eyes glinted with human intelligence but one that was cruel and unforgiving.
The other beasts seemed to stare away from its direct sight of action.
The large, menacing cat jumped toward the cart, its upper maw with raw or sharp pointed teeth widened, which split the head into two.
Seth, without delay, used his staff to hit the drum.
A rumbling force pulse from the cart; despite the size of the rhino buffalo monster, it was shoved aside, but the damn cat snapped its maw and shredded the force that should have pushed it away and arrived at the cart.
Seth consecutively hit the drum with the staff whose pulse of force kept releasing and accelerating.

Crack!
That cat was able to make a dent in the cart with its sharp, pointed teeth, but the attack had caused its teeth to crack around.
The other maw opened, and it spoke sentences with a normal human voice, which shook Seth to the core.

Seth's heart skipped a bit, 'It is intelligent. Is it a Medos?'
The cat waited but there was no response.
"Don't be shy. Come out Red Canvas!"
It said again.
Seth didn't respond, and the cat's eyes shifted toward the hoard that seemed to have stopped moving and then spoke. This time with none human tongue but Seth understood what it was saying.
"Blessed Beast Overwhelms this Blessed Cart."
"Blessed? That's what you called Gawee!"
"Yes, Red Canvas. We are the blessed race of the Blessed Land. We rule it; we own it, and everything in it belongs to us. Is here for us to feed on and nourish."
"Come out. You have been blessed too. You won't face a damning death if you submit!"
The entire Gawee Cart echoed its words, even the Gawee Crown echoed its words, telling Seth what the beast said was the absolute undeniable truth of this land.
Uncontrollable fear grips Seth as he feels an oversized weakness and hopelessness as Gawee Magister Title resonates and forces him to believe the word of the cat.
Seth knew it and felt it in his heart; that was the truth. Every life form that wasn't Gawee Breast or similar was just food for the Gawee Creatures.
Their name suggested, told it and announced their position. They are truly the owners of the land, and everyone else is a servant, food, or just hard-to-kill prey.
Seth sighed. It makes sense. Everything makes sense.
He was told that nothing can hide anyone from the perception of Gawee Creatures and when the land was unshackled, billions of Gawee Beasts will be norms in the land.
What power will protect the players against them?
"So what?" Seth sneered. "You have to earn your food!"
