Temporal Pearls

Peace return to the world after 400 years of awakening. Tier 6 beast were numerous and with their intellect they somewhat deter rampant destruction especially where they rule.

At 500 years of awakening the world came to it sense and humanity and the beast stabilise to a degree.

Three settlements came to be and world powers were defined as well as meaningful development.

Independent Gateway Land Settlement (IGLS) is those like Ar Land. They were characterized with Gateway that the native use and can't be taken away from, even if they don't have Ascendent among them.

Beast Hoard Settlement (BHS) is a place where the rulers are beast, the humans were servants or were protected under the mercy of beast.

Dependent Land Settlement (DLS) is settlement of people but were either under Beast Hoard or Independent Gateway. Countries and Large Cities fall under this category.

Dependent Land Settlement were usually established along important mines, plants, runes of old or any resources that the humans need or the beast requires.

There are few DLS that have Gateway in them but didn't became IGLS because they didn't complete all requirements.

Having Gateway doesn't equal power but rather bonding with to the power another power can't take it from you.

There are six known requirements for a settlement to became independent but Eugene only knew three of them.

Anchored Bloodline Legacy

Tier 6 or above human and beast that was alive or dead.

Living Decendent.

Anchored Bloodline Legacy can only be achieved when someone become Tier 6 and they have to do it before anyone do it.

Their bloodline Legacy most also be potent enough for the gateway to link to you. So, after that even if you died, you living decendent can carry the mantle.

Ar Land was filled with Living decadent of the first men that anchored themselves. Even though, Miracle Lion Family only recently got Tier 6 but their Lion Beast Ancestors has finished the job for them. Not to mention their Bloodline Legacy was one of the most potent the world had seen.

Eugene was as much of a Miracle Lion in human form as his Miracle Lion and he opened his eyes and he saw white.

He felt well rested and sat down. The room was all white which means he was in hospital. Not any hospital but one that was control by Keeper House.

Looked like his stunt has land him to come here directly.

Aristocrat have some prevelage for obvious reason. One of those prevelage was that they can hold their Scion from Ascension Rite Challenge for up to 20 years in the name of preparing him for it.

Also when their Scion return he can go home first before coming to Keepers house for documentation.

This was established when other powerful families were trying to learn more about their rivals through the Challengers that returned.

Sitting down alert the nurse to come in. She checked him and then asked him drink a water before asking him to proceed with the documentation.

At the door was tall man in suit, his eyes focused on the nurse activities. He was sent from Miracle Lion Family.

"Greetings uncle Lo!" Eugene said when he noticed him. The man nodded with no words.

Documentation was simple, filling a form, then testing strength, then going through basic knowledge and making sure you don't have mental or body anomaly.

It was advised to told your gain ability but most family refuse that even those level ones.

Now as Eugene have two ability then, as long as they are harmful to him the Keepers will know and they will force it out from him.

He was taking to room filled with floating glass device. He sat at the center and flash of different colour landed on him.

Reading on a glass only computer was being shone before there was red light.

His name was called and he looked at a man in robe that was before the glass computer. He has small frown in him.

"Have you failed to please your lion!" He asked.

Eugene frowned, "We are fine!" He answered.

Eugene tilted his head before s realization came to him and immediately used one of the Reward from the Gateway. A rune of summon.

And a lazy lion appeared on his head, the lion was startled and opened in annoyance before he looked around while stretching and yourning.

"It is fine now!" The doctor said.

The lion had consumed him which made him in control to a degree. Until summoned now and that was readjust it will appear he was in control.

But, if the lion had wanted he will have something TBC, a situation where the mind of the human has reached point if break and the lion now has control over him.

Eugene had reached that state but the lion has too much respect for him to do that. But he kept him sane till they were back.

But seeing nothing he didn't wait for Eugene to answer and finish his evaluation and said, "You are good!"

The nurse earlier came and gave him his new ID Card. "Tier 2 Roar. Welcome to Roaring Company!"

Eugene eyed widdend in surprise. It was now that he was Tier 1 not Tier 2. Then he remembered this was his second Ascension.

Eugene was in dellema as he left Keepers House and then he remembered his mother that was fought in danger. He bolted forward to go home.

He may not have the natures but the traits followed him as his speed kept increasing and in nor time he was back home. He jumped above the gate seeing it will take time to open and landed with grace of cat and bolted inside but his heart sank.

Two people were standing by his destination. That aunt he hate and another uncle he doesn't like.

He just glared at them before he forced to say, "Greetings!"

They nodded. "Don't panick. She is recovering!"

Uncle Ray said but Aunt Jamima frowned, she didn't seem to want to let him go.

"He deserves to know!" Ray said to Jamima and she sighed.

Eugene sauntered inside the room and he froze.

"Ma…" he couldn't even finished his sentence as he felt his mind swirling around as if he will faint. But he shook his head and steady himself.

He didn't even know that tears were coming from his eyes as he .over slowly closed to the sleeping woman and gently sat on the stood beside the bed she was laid down.

Around the bed was thin fabric that separated her from the rest of the world. It was called Dimensional Fabric.

An extremely rare resource that can seal off an entire section of place from the another. One can create a conducive environment that they require at the moment.

If not because leaving Esther was too dangerous, Dimensional Fabric can be used to terrafiemed an entire planet to have the same atmospheric conditions as the Earth.

But it was now being used to create a condition of 'staying alive' to a woman that have lost have her body from stomach below.

There was also extremely thin aura there that should have continued to consumed her if not for the Dimensional Fabric making not active.

Aria's face was scrunch in fear and pain but somehow she was breathing and blood was circulating.

Her situation was downright miracle to stay alive. Dimensional Fabric only froze in place for things not to get worse but it was she that keep herself alive. Beca5in this moment, a simple desire to die will make the rest of her body collapse and died.
