Tensura: The First Hybrid

Tokyo, Japan.

Several people were walking by, minding their own business. Cars and Trucks were moving at fast speed. People were in a hurry. Some for reaching their workplace earlier, some for getting to the school and some just hanging out.

The screen focused on one particular individual. He was wearing a black coat with a short black undercoat and white shirt with a black tie and was wearing a black mask. He was also wearing a hat but some of his hair was out which showed black hair and brown eyes. He was a man with a little muscular physique.

???Pov:

It sure is peaceful out here. All the people walking in a hurry to reach their workplace or school, some kids hanging out and some old folks enjoying the warm breeze of springs.

I am Mikami Satorou. I live a peaceful life like everyone else. After graduating from college, I started to pursue my dream of being an actor. At first it was tough but later I started to get famous and work kept coming my way.

Now, I have a leading role in one of the most famous and viewed movies in Japan. I have everything one can ask for except a significant other.

As an actor I can't have a wife or lover in my starting period but now that I am a senior actor, it's no longer an issue but I never had any luck in women. After getting rejected thrice in my early period, I completely gave up on any kind of romance.

Today, I came out here without anyone with me because one of my few acquaintances asked me to meet them in person. On top of that in private.

While thinking about some random thoughts, I reached my destination. A cafe, it was not too high class or too low class. It was just a medium sized local business. As I entered the cafe, I noticed my acquaintance.

"Senpai! Here, here. Come here!" He called me out in a happy and cheerful voice. "So tell me, why did you call me here?"

He was my junior in work and a good chat buddy. His name is Tamura. As a new actor and my assistant, he always calls me senpai (senior). There was a girl sitting beside him.

"Thank you for coming, senpai." He said and then signalled the girl to introduce herself. "He-hello, I am Sawatari Miho. It's nice to meet you, sir Mikami." She said in a nervous tone.

Why are you nervous lady, it's me who should be nervous.

"Ah haha. Yes, it's nice to meet you, miss Sawatari. I am Mikami Satorou. I have heard several things about you."

I said to tease her a bit. She got flustered and started to panic a bit. "I hope it isn't something bad."

I should probably stop this teasing attitude of mine. I guess this is the reason why I got rejected in the past.

"Come on senpai, stop teasing her. You should also calm down Miho, he is just messing with you."

Ahh, this charming and kind attitude of yours... people like you should just die. Well, I should act mature in front of these youngsters and not be petty.

"So, why did you call me here and on top of that alone?" I asked him, changing the topic.

As I was thinking, I suddenly heard a loud noise. When I looked towards the noise, I saw two guys aiming their guns somewhere. Their aim was.....

"TAMURAAA!" I screamed before jumping above the table and covering the two.

"Bang!" "Bang!" Huh..?

"Tch* It's a failure, retreat!" They said before running out of the establishment.

What's this? It's hot, I don't want this...

"Se-senPAII!" Tamura screamed out. Ugh..what was that voice? Was that Tamura? Will you shut up, Tamura?

"Senpai, hang in there." Tamura said while crying.

"Senpai..." Tamura said while smiling a bit, tears were still flowing. "All I wanted to do was show off Sawatari to you."

"Jeez..don't worry about it..." I said. "Sir Mikami." Miho said while crying.

"Be sure to make her happy and take care of my PC."

I never thought I'd die a virgin... If I am reborn, I'll be a lot more aggressive... I'll screw every girl I see...

*Click* Suddenly I heard a voice of some lock being opened.

I-wasn't that the sound of compressed air or gas being released? Wait, lock being opened, compressed gas being released... Am I in some kind of capsule? Huh?... I-I can't breath...It hurts...it hurts.....

".....o-nect t-he oxy-gen....stabilise the pressure, fast!" Someone was screaming.

I can finally breathe normally. It was tough. For a moment, I thought I was a goner.

"Ku kukukuku. To think my experiment will be a success~ when I finally gave up hope on it~"

... Oh God. From the tone alone, I can sense that I am in the hands of some mad scientist...

"Hey~ hey hey~ can yo~u hear me-e~?"

I already hate this crazy guy...Ugh...I feel a bit wei-r..d?...

Few days ago:

My self Twilight Velentine. People gave me the title of Divine Ancestor or something but I don't actually care about that. I was given the job of populating the Multi-verse by lord Veldanava. I have been doing that until three hundred years ago when I suddenly got an idea of creating something unique, a Hybrid.

To do that, I studied and researched all of my previous creations and came up with a few answers....

1. Doing hybridisation isn't too hard if I do it between two creatures of similar origins or roots.

2. Hybridisation between two whole different races is hard but not impossible and can be done with a few complications.

3. If a hybridisation between original species - created by lord veldanava- is done with a species created by me, then it can be successful but it might lead to chaos but who cares.

4. Hybridisation between shadow races- Not created by Veldanava- is impossible unless another factor is added to stabilise the energy and Dna cells.

After such answers, I started my experiments but it was never a success. I was able to create several new races such as High Dwarfs, High Elves, Spirit Onis, etc. but none of them were up to my expectations.

I also tried to create one with my own Dna and was able to create a High Vampire but even they weren't up to my expectations. As I was about to give up, I came up with an idea.

What will happen if I merge a true species (created by the creator), shadow species (Not created by the creator) and my own cells...ku kukukuku...yes, that's a great idea...

So, I got to work. I took samples of an Arch-angel from lord Veldanava and samples of an Arch-demon, whom I summoned and gave a body and lastly, I put my own blood in it but the result was...a disaster.....

The entity created from it destroyed half the facility and it took all the fighting forces of the faculty to stop it.

Why did it fail? Was something missing? There has to be a way to do this....yes. A will and a body.

Because I took samples from Arch-angel and Arch-demon and put my blood but didn't add any physical body for it to reside, it wasn't able to form a will and became mindless.

Than, how about the body of a High human....no. It's too weak for my masterpiece. I have to do some experiments for the physical body as well....

"Twilight, how is your work going?"

Suddenly I heard a voice. When I looked at it, it was a guy with dark black hair with glitter in hair indicating stars. An androgynous beauty, height being higher than me and reaching way above two meters.

It was no one other than lord Veldanava. I took my knees and bowed to him.

"It's my pleasure to meet you, lord Veldanava." I bowed before the man whom I respect the most.

"Hmm." He nodded with a bit....sad look? Did I say something wrong? "By the way, why do you look so down, if I may ask?" Lord Veldanava asked me.

"Ah, did I let it see on my face? I apologise for making you worry over my lowly self."

"No it's fine, now tell me what is it that's making you feel down?" Veldanava asked. "It's nothing more than a trivial matter, lord Veldanava. I am just stuck in one of my experiments. " I answered him truthfully.

"What might that experiment be?" He asked me to know more about it.

"It was one of my first projects and was also the reason why there are Elder Dwarfs, High elves, High vampires and Spirit onis. I wanted to create a Hybrid but wasn't successful in it." I answered.

"Hoh? From the way you speak, are all these races a mistake or failed subjects?" He asked me, surprised.

"I wouldn't particularly call them a mistake or fail as they still do half of what I expected but...." I said but couldn't finish my words.

"They didn't fulfill all your expectations, right?" He finished what I couldn't say. "Yes..." I said in a solemn voice.

"What might the issue be in your experiments?" Veldanava asked.

"A will... The main issue is a physical body to hold the spiritual core and get a will... At first I thought of using High-humans but they aren't strong enough for that..." I was getting sad just by thinking about it.

"Then, how about using those Dragons alongside High-humans? I mean those lizards might be weak but their physical body is pretty sturdy compared to other species."

...Why did I never think about that?!

"I.. never thought about that... It's to be expected from the creator... I thank you, lord Veldanava, for giving me this great idea!" I exclaimed in a happy and cheerful tone.

"Haha, no need to thank me. Just let me meet the entity you will create." Veldanava said.

"Yes. I will take them to you as soon as they are born!" I exclaimed in excitement and enthusiasm.

"Now if you may, I wish to put this great idea of yours in work as soon as possible." I said barely containing my excitement.

"Haha, that's the twilight I know. Now go and create your masterpiece, 'So I can finally dumb my work on him'." Veldanava said the last part in the whisper.

"Hmm? Pardon?" I asked him in confusion as I couldn't hear what he said in the end. "Ah, nothing nothing. You should probably go before it's late." Veldanava said dismissing it.

"Okay." I said while returning to my office to call my assistant.

Present day:

Ku kukukuku finally, finally my experiments have shown signs of success. I can't contain my excitement to meet my masterpiece.

When I was thinking about that, I suddenly heard my assistant's call. As soon as I received the call, I ran to the laboratory at my full speed. After reaching the place, I looked at the capsule and....

Yes! It's a success!

I ran past all the researchers and helpers standing guard in front of the capsule and pushed my assistant aside.

Ahh~this feeling~ tears were streaming down my cheeks.

Its hands twitched, it tried to speak...

I can't contain it inside me anymore~ I have to see it~ I have to touch it~ Ahh, I will go crazy at this rate~

As I couldn't stop myself, I opened the locks of the capsule. My assistant and researchers tried to stop me by grabbing my hand but I yanked their hands away and gave them a fierce look.

No one, absolutely no one can see it before me. I am its creator and only I have the right to see it first...

I released my aura and pushed everyone back. I opened the capsule in a hurry... It was a mistake...

It can't breathe, it's dying...No!

"H-hey, hey! Connect the oxygen with the subject through a pipe. Stabilize the air pressure and heat of the room. Fast!"

I screamed at my assistant. As soon as I said it, they got to work and in just five to six seconds everything was stabilized.

It's waking..up?...it's waking up...? IT'S WAKING UP!!!

"Put the whole facility in a lock down, stop all projects and use of magicules. Entry and exit of the faculty should be sealed."

I can't let anyone other than researchers in facility know about my masterpiece, not before I show it to lord veldanava.

"Yes, sir!" Helpers said and hurried out to do the assigned task while the researchers were taking notes of everything happening.

Well, it's not like I care.

"Ku kukuku ku. To think my experiment will be a success~ when I finally gave up hope on it~"

I ignored the weird looks on everyone's face. Wait, my masterpiece was changing its face into one of a... Disgust?

It....understood? It did, yes...yes it did...I can't stop my tears from falling...One of the researcher was about to say something but stopped after I glared at him...It can only hear my voice...It should only hear my voice...

It's eyes twitched. Its about to open them.

"Hey~ hey hey~ can yo~u hear me-e~?" It showed an emotion, an expression of annoyance and disgust.

Yes, show me more of those emotions...huh? Why did it faint?

"Sir, you are releasing your aura." My assistant said.

My aura? Tsk, is it safe? *Sigh* It's safe...I should control myself or I might kill it accidentally. For now, I should let it rest.

"I should probably contact lord Veldanava and inform him about the great news~" Twilight said while hugging the—now closed capsule—in which 'it' was resting.
