Unknown Location in the Cardinal World

From the meeting that had taken place, and by the time it would have ended.

At some point… Dawn and Guy had begun travelling the world together.

After basically exiting the Star Palace, they had traversed away from north and had found a small village.

In contrast to the huge landmass of the Dynasty or Empire, these people were on the smaller side and basically lived life happily despite being on the smaller side.

"So, you're telling me that dead-eye guy made all these people."

It had been on a night, after too much enjoyment for their sake.

While they were both now official demon lords. Both hadn't had any settlement built or any semblance of a place to settle at.

Of course, Dawn was one to tag along despite the Primordial rejecting him many times over.

However, the damned bat wouldn't budge—At least, according to the devil who had now given up due to his persistence.

"Well, yeah, amongst everyone surrounding Big Boss, Dad's one of his most trusted, I believe."

With a casual twirl of his finger, Dawn had said that, after all, from what it looked like, Twilight was almost like a State Official working directly under the State.

If anything, Dawn's thought of it was correct, to say the least.

"No wonder, it explains much. I've been surprised by his wisdom; however, that guy too is not bad at all."

Guy and Dawn had conversed, sitting on a log as flames flickered in front of them.

In the background, there were chattering noises of humans there.

In the middle, there was a campfire, a huge one that rose up, and people were dancing around it.

Amongst the humans, the three Primordials—Blanc, Misery and Rain—-too had joined the humans as they danced.

"Humans, huh? Humanity… Despite being a fragile race, I guess they aren't bad after all; your irresponsible father is no doubt the cause of their misfortune."

In as much as Guy had said that without respect, if anything, Dawn was quick to agree.

Naturally, on what he had stated last about "their misfortune," he was referring to the Empire and Dynasty, of how they met their ends in their hands.

However, even though Dawn did agree, he'd slightly beg to disagree.

"While I agree with you on that, however, disrespecting him like that… I'm sorta crossed."

Dawn had only said that looking over to the red Primordial as Dawn's own eyes glowed crimson.

"...."

"Well, sorry about that."

Of course the ever-prideful demon lord wouldn't admit his mistake, and wording his apologies like this.

And even then, Dawn didn't take it to heart.

Now that they were here, rather, how and why they were here in the first place—

World-Destroying Dragon.

There was still time, a lot if anything, till it reached here. Which just showed how powerful Veldanava still was.

To have sensed him and pinpointed his location even while Dimensions away…

Of course Guy had thought of challenging Veldanava; however, Twilight and Feldway had gotten in his way the moment he tried.

While he would still have loved to duke it out with the Primordial Origin, or Primordial Angels, for simplicity sake, Twilight, however, was a different case.

With such knowledge that was only second to Veldanava.

In fact, perhaps, Twilight's understanding of the world rules and laws may have already surpassed the non-omniscient Veldanava.

But ignoring Twilight's strength.

Ivarage still has a few before he'd reach here, as it would literally have to cross dimensions to reach here.

And by estimation of Veldanava with Twilight's assistance, they still had many months left till its arrival.

It wasn't years, but months.

There wasn't much to do till then.

But with Veldanava already picking up on the signal of the beast, it may have already begun reverse tracking Veldanava; well, that was how Twilight had put it anyway.

And that is to say, none of them found it particularly strange if the beast indeed did so.

But well, since there was still much time left, on that note, Veldanava had basically given Guy such a suggestion.

"Since you're just incarnated, why don't you travel the world?"

"I know you are reluctant about becoming the [Mediator]."

"While there may be only a few civilisations around; however, I believe if you go around, you'd come to a wonderful realisation yourself."

Of course, Veldanava had said this to Guy, seeing as the primordial devil still had his reserves about the whole idea.

Of course, there were lots of factors—The major one being the pain in the ass of a Demon Lord beside him—

And while he would have no doubt challenged the Creator God. He however knew.

Such was a foolish act. Of course, no doubt Guy knows.

Furthermore, a certain someone had just made the most infuriating comment he'd hear that day.

"You're strong, yes, but you'll die. So don't."

It wasn't even from someone like Feldway or Velzard, but Twilight.

Of all people, even though he was correct, was still… infuriating.

But nevertheless, people like Feldway and Velzard had obviously expressed their "kind" intent to the Primordial's thoughts.

But still— "That brat."

Guy had clicked his tongue with an almost disgusted expression as he said that.

Though Twilight was truly several millennia old, compared to someone like Guy, who had been existing since the dawn of creation…

Calling Twilight a brat wasn't wrong at all.

"You seem to have a thing or two to say about him."

"Forget him for now. I also heard there is a powerful giant over by the west, and a Fairy Queen around south; is that true?"

"Well, I only know and heard a few from father, but yes. Though I personally haven't seen them, though."

Dawn tried recalling most he'd known from Twilight as he tried relaxing on the log he sat on, but no matter the position he took, it was uncomfortable.

Ugh.

He groaned, but eventually gave up.

"I would very much like to meet him."

For Guy, who had just incarnated into this world, it seemed like the fun wouldn't end anytime soon.

—-Oops. Scratch that.

In the first place, as meddlesome as Guy would think of Dawn to be, it was, very well, still not a bad thing to have someone like Dawn around.

Moreover, Dawn was also capable in combat.

For someone who was a few hundred years old and had just become a True Demon Lord like him…

He had expected for him to lack the actual skills to keep up with him.

'But that's not the case, which is a shame.'

Guy thought that.

It was a shame truly like he had thought, however, at the same time, it was also a good thing.

For Guy, who has just begun adjusting to this world, learning about how his skill worked and all, Dawn was, in a literal sense, the perfect practice dummy.

Not only was he strong, but also resilient.

And now that he thinks about it– "Hm. Pipsqueak."

"What? You wanna die? Hedgehog?"

The two Demon Lords had regarded themselves as such. For Dawn, it was the endless boredom.

Staying with Twilight hadn't been bad, but in the end, he is different.

He longs for the outside world and adventure like this.

Guy was like that one friend you happen to make then introduce them to your parents.

Then after some time with them, you just tell your parents– "Hey, I'm going to hang out with this person."

Upon overhearing what Veldanava had said to the primordial red, the vampire lord had simply hopped on the train.

Naturally Twilight, who knew of this, deadpanned at Dawn; however, he didn't stop it.

'First time he's being responsible! Praise be to Big Boss.'

Of course, this praise to Veldanava wasn't wholehearted.

But then, upon him and Guy about to leave the star palace—

"You irresponsible child, wait up."

"Geh."

Twilight had stopped him like so; at this point, there were no mincing words between this family.

With so many distant relatives, that has now been turned into distant memories, anything could fly.

"I'm not calling you back; here, take it."

Twilight had simply tossed over a sword; it looked like a longsword, not an obviously long one, but it can be called one still.

It had black and gold designs; the blade itself was red, rather than the natural iron like colour of steel. It had a royal black handguard, and just by a look, Dawn could tell it was an absurd weapon in itself.

"Thank Veldanava; that over there is a weapon of its kind. Take it as a gift for becoming a demon lord."

"It's unnamed, so do unto it as you please."

Twilight had said that, turning away and leaving the Star Palace using a teleportation spell, much to their vampire's confusion.

However, with such a weapon in his hands that looked like it naturally fit him…

Dawn couldn't help but release a smirk.

"Heh! Won't say thanks to you, but I appreciate it, Big Boss!"

With that, Dawn had thanked Veldanava and ignored Twilight completely. Of course, not entirely, as the vampire thought.

'Finally deciding to become responsible, how creepy; being irresponsible fits you best!'

But of course, that thought of his was more of a fond thought than a rather disrespectful one.

And because he had thought that, it didn't mean he'd thought well of Twilight.

Coming back from his thoughts, rather, the one to bring him back from his thoughts was Guy.

"That blade, I can tell at a glance it's impressive; let me take a quick look."

"No chance in hell. I don't particularly feel safe in letting you take a look at Tsukuyomi."

"Oh? Tsukuyomi is the name, huh? I'm more and more curious."

Guy, never shying away, adjusted closer to Dawn, who shook his head with a "nuh-uh. No way."

And Dawn in actuality was right! Surely, with Guy's foresight, he'd be able to see through the blade with a little bit of analysis.

And for him that still plans on challenging Guy, it was like letting him analyse one of his trump cards.

Of course, this would eventually be revealed to be the demon lord, and naturally, that would be after he'd given Guy quite a surprise with the blade.

And, Guy, who had briefly seen the weapon, could tell the weapon was quite a big deal. Hence he had asked.

"Must I have to force you to draw out that blade for me to see?"

"Ugh. Fuck no! That's gay as hell. I'm not drawing a blade for you."

"Oh? That's quite the letdown."

"Oi! Stop talking like—!"

Like that, the demon lord's bizarre adventure had begun with the first two ascended demon lords.

Of course, to say a lot of fuckery like this would happen in the future is not an understatement; however…

That was till then.

For now, it was to enjoy how messed up this world has been.
