"TAKESHIIII HASEGAWAAAA!" A loud, roaring voice called for Takeshi. Meowshi stomped her foot and put the shout to a halt.

"THAT WAS YOUUU?" Zenjiro shouted. "You don't start now dumbass." Meowshi shushed him straight away.

"I got sent a letter, that's why I'm here. Otherwise, I wouldn't be caught dead with you morons." Meowshi sneered. She heads over to Takeshi and puts her back towards, there was a bag with a letter. Takeshi reaches for the letter and opens it.

Takeshi Hasegawa,

I have noticed that you have encountered Akumu Nikushimi, again. We refrain you from attacking him as he will cause nothing but injuries to you. There is another demon with him, who is out to get you without a doubt. Kill it, it

might also be one of the Cultists so be careful.

Takeshi reads the letter and his mouth drops instantly, rolling on the floor. "So what does it sa-" Zenjiro was interrupted with a loud shout.

"ARE THEY CRAZY? I'M GOING TO BE KILLED YOU MORONS! I CAN'T TAKE ON A CULTIST. LAST TIME I DID I NEARLY DIED!" Takeshi shouts pulling his fist forward again. He rips the letter and stomps on it several times, repeatedly.

"Takeshi stop! You didn't even say what our mission was!"

"Squeak, master Zenjiro, your letter." A very small voice came from behind Zenjiro.

"Oh, thanks." Zenjiro takes the letter and reads.

Zenjiro Ashikaga,

You will take part in Takeshi's mission by killing a demon in Yoruichi City.

It may be a cultist close to Akumu so be aware.

Zenjiro's mouth splits wide open, his jaw reaching the floor and rolling.

"WHATTTT! WHAT ARE THEY DUMB OR WHAT? A CULTIST?" Zenjiro rips up his paper and starts to

stomp on it along with Takeshi.

"Erghhhh, ENOUGH!" Meowshi's voice echoes across the now-empty streets of Yoruichi.

"You need to get it together, you decided to become Demon Slayers, you should have seen this coming your way. Now stop acting like cowards, go get your rest and tomorrow you have to find this demon." Meowshi snapped both Takeshi and Zenjiro back into reality.

"That's what makes it scarier. What if we fail?" Zenjiro added.

"If we keep our heads high and have the sole purpose to save, mankind then I'm sure we will not fail. Buuut if we do. Meowshi will get an Astral." Takeshi boldly stated, grabbing his sword with a face of determination.

I hope we don't at least for that. Takeshi planned that to

be their mission ending. For both to succeed in taking down whatever demon Akumu was going to throw in their way.

"Let's go find a place to sleep, it's not safe out here." Zenjiro said. Everything was quiet. Dead quiet. But they still went as if the crowds of people were still there.

Akumu hid behind his home in Yourichi. Planning what to do with Takeshi. "And that king haired boy? I guess he's a demon slayer too, he will die too, I can't have him into a demon, he'll probably be useless." Akumu talked to himself.

"Dear, you should come inside. A demon is on the loose, you should consider coming in." It was Akumu's wife.

"Yes, yes Tsukdori coming soon, let me just run for some fresh air." Akumu replies coldly and with annoyance.

"But dear you'll get eate-" Tsukdori tried to stop him but.

"Go back inside now." Akumu's eyes were glaring at Tsukdori. Like he gave her a command she followed it.

"Yes, master." Tsukdori replied like a robot.

"Now back to a demon."

Akumu heads out of his house's area and onto the sleeping streets.

"What? I didn't realise everyone was this scared of me. Ahahah, guess I'll have to-" Akumu was interrupted.

"Hey punk face, what are you yapping on about?" A man called from far

"Bingo." Akumu's eyes narrowed and his eyes stared at the man.

"Oi what ya staring at, ya look like a demon." The man said he was clearly drunk out of his mind. Suddenly Akumu disappeared then reappeared this time right in front of the man.

"Wait how di- AH SHIT YOU'RE A-" Before he could even finish his sentence Akumu injected his finger into the man.

"You will now follow my command." The man started to disintegrate, then new skin started to appear.

"No what's happening?!" The man started to scream. His face started to become red and more eyes grew on his face. His smile widened and his body grew big. His nails grew sharp and sturdy. And his hair changed to dark purple and into a hairstyle. His skin became red with random marks. His teeth grew fangs.

He was no longer a human, but a demon. Luckily his eyes were normal.

"You will now go and kill Takeshi Hasegawa and the boy with him. Go find him. If you fail you will die, either by their blade or by my snap of fingers. Got it?" Akumu stared at the new demon he had created.

"Yes, demon." The new demon said.

Akumu slapped him. "Lord Akumu idiot."
