The Absolute Godspeed of Infinite Worlds

Chapter 260: [260] The Chuuni Loli and Her Loyal Maid

As a devoted fan of Mario Rosso, Kanata deeply resented anyone speaking ill of the great artist.

She turned around with an imposing aura, glaring at the person who had uttered those words.

But the moment she saw the figure, she couldn't help but freeze in surprise.

"Oh my, to think I would encounter an old comrade from the depths of infernal academia in this place?"

The other party also noticed Kanata's sharp gaze. At first, she seemed puzzled, but after sizing Kanata up for a moment, her expression suddenly cleared in realization.

Even in disguise, Kanata had been instantly recognized.

"You two know each other?"

Eiji studied the two girls before him.

Standing before them was a young girl who appeared no older than twelve or thirteen.

She wore an extravagant pink dress, a white eyepatch over her right eye, and proudly crossed her arms over her completely flat chest. Her demeanor was haughty to the extreme, as though she looked down on everyone in the world.

"That's Rinna Kazamatsuri, the heiress of the Kazamatsuri Group."

Kanata whispered the explanation to Eiji.

Oh ho!

The Kazamatsuri Group!

While Kanata's Totokubara Conglomerate was immensely wealthy, it was still only Japan's second-largest economic powerhouse. The one that stood above Totokubara, reigning as Japan's undisputed No. 1 in capital accumulation, was none other than the Kazamatsuri Group!

In other words—this girl was the daughter of Japan's richest man.

Given that, it made sense for the heiresses of the first and second-largest financial dynasties to know each other.

"What my lady means is: 'I didn't expect to run into an old acquaintance here.'"

Behind Rinna stood a girl dressed in a traditional black and white maid outfit, appearing around seventeen or eighteen years old. She was elegant and poised, the very image of a proper attendant.

Though for some reason… there was a white collar around her neck?

"Additionally, what my lady just said translates to: 'What kind of so-called masterpiece is just ink splashed on paper? Has modern taste decayed so thoroughly?'"

She dutifully translated Rina's words with perfect seriousness.

"It's been a while, Miss Totokubara."

"You have my sympathies for having to serve such an eccentric mistress, Charlotte."

"Not at all! Serving my lady is my greatest joy!"

The maid responded with overwhelming enthusiasm, her face glowing with happiness.

This loli's not right in the head.

And this maid might be even worse.

Kanata quietly explained to Eiji that the maid's name was Charlotte Cordé, Rinna's personal attendant who followed her everywhere. She was fanatically loyal—to the point of being excessively devoted.

Got it.

Chuuni Loli and Her Loyal Dog Maid.

"Why are you even here?"

Kanata frowned at the pink-haired chuuni loli, her patience clearly wearing thin.

"If you hate Rosso's work so much, why bother showing up just to trash-talk?"

She really didn't want to deal with this brat.

It was exhausting.

Kanata: Cannot communicate with chuunis.

"A 'master,' you say? Her?"

Rinna smirked arrogantly, her expression dripping with disdain.

"If we speak solely of the halo surrounding her name, I shall reluctantly acknowledge it. But to call her a 'saint who dominates the era'? That is nothing but flattery."

"My lady means: 'I recognize her fame, but calling her world-class is a stretch.'"

"Moreover, is this place your sacred domain? Have you erected a barrier to forbid others from entering?"

"My lady means: 'This isn't your property. I can come if I want.'"

"...Are you two performing a comedy skit or something?"

Eiji couldn't help but mutter under his breath, rolling his eyes.

"Hmph. So, my fallen comrade, this is your servant? Has your taste sunk into the abyss?"

"My lady means: 'Miss Kidohara, is this the attendant you brought? How vulgar.'"

The pink loli tried to look down on Eiji, but given their height difference, she could only tilt her head upward while stubbornly maintaining her haughty expression.

Oh-ho?

You little brat!

Eiji bared his teeth in a menacing grin.

He reached up to remove his sunglasses and mask, fully intending to put this arrogant loli in her place.

If you don't kneel on the spot, I'll eat my hat!

But before he could, Kanata suddenly grabbed his wrist, stopping him.

Her eyes conveyed a silent message:

"She's connected to the Kazamatsuri Group. If she sees your face, it might reach my parents. Our secret relationship would be exposed."

...Fine.

Reading her expression, Eiji reluctantly gave up on charming the snotty brat into submission. He decided to let it go—no point arguing with a kid.

"Anyway, I'm not here to fight. If you've got nothing better to do, leave. Don't just stand there being annoying."

Kanata's tone turned sharp.

In her eyes, Rinna was just an immature child. Dealing with her was exhausting, and she had zero interest in trading barbs.

"Hah?! You—no, thou dares to say that I—?!"

"Could you all keep it down?"

Just as the pink loli was about to throw a tantrum, a third voice cut in.

It was a weak, lethargic voice—the kind that made you think of a bedridden patient.

Yet despite its frailty, there was an undeniable authority to it that demanded attention.

Everyone present instinctively turned toward the newcomer.

And the first impression was…

What a weirdo.

The girl looked about seventeen or eighteen, with a messy mane of golden hair that looked like it hadn't been brushed in years.

She wasn't wearing a shirt—not even a bra—just a paint-stained apron that barely covered her ample 'blessings.'

It was basically a nude apron look.

But despite the risqué outfit, her overall appearance was disheveled. Her sunken eyes were ringed with dark circles, and her breathing was so faint it rivaled Eiji's post-coma weak state.

Stamina: F.

Eiji could declare that with certainty.

Cup Size: Also F.

He could tell at a glance.

"The whispers of demons cannot reach my ears!"

"My lady means: 'Why should I?'"

The pink loli pouted at the blonde girl, her usual bravado diminished slightly, though she refused to back down verbally.

Charlotte, ever the professional translator, rendered the chuuni speech into normal language before bowing politely to the blonde.

"It's been a while, Miss Sara."

"This is an art exhibition. People come here to appreciate paintings in peace."

The girl named Sara clearly hated dealing with trouble. Her stiff expression was ice-cold.

"If you keep causing a scene and disrupting everyone, I'll have no choice but to ask you to leave."

Her tone was calm, but the words were uncompromising.

It was as if she couldn't care less about Rinna's status.
