The Adaptive Quincy of Bleach

Chapter 51: Working on system (51)

Anyway, Sora spent a while with Ichigo. The boy, however, seemed quite unwilling to tap into his Hollow power. Shame, he would become quite strong using it—he could jump from being at the level of a lieutenant to the level of a captain.

His Reiatsu had soared to match Sora's own reserves. Granted, Sora had the gloves on, and some of his power was sealed.

Okay, most of his control over Reishi was sealed, but that didn't change the fact that Ichigo still matched him.

Sora, in the meantime, began working on this new system.

Opening his notes, he looked at the spells he had personally seen used—and probably been hit by—during his training.

When Lisa got pissed, she started throwing those bastards around like crazy. Oh well, who cares? This was helping him now.

Shō: A Hadō spell that can be used without an incantation.

Byakurai: A Hadō spell that creates a thin jet of white lightning.

Tsuzuri Raiden: A Hadō spell that can be used to create powerful lightning attacks.

Fushibi: A Hadō spell that creates a small, intense flame.

Shakkahō: A Hadō spell that releases a red flame cannon.

Ōkasen: A Hadō spell that creates a powerful explosion.

Sōkatsui: A Hadō spell that releases a blue flame to cut through enemies.

Haien: A Hadō spell that can vaporize objects.

Tenran: A Hadō spell that can manipulate the environment.

Senju Kōten Taihō: A Hadō spell that creates a massive explosion.

Hainawa: A Bakudō spell that restrains the target's entire body.

Sekienton: A Bakudō spell that creates a powerful explosion.

Kyokkō: A Bakudō spell that can create a barrier.

Hyapporankan: A Bakudō spell that releases a hundred rods to restrain the target.

Alright, using that shit alongside his own knowledge, Sora began testing stuff. While Ichigo was learning at a fast rate in a corner, Sora could be seen manipulating the ambient Reishi in the air.

A small wheel spun above his head quite frequently, trying to find the sweet spot between Kido and Reishi—how to make Reishi the thing being used instead of Reiatsu.

So far, he was not doing so well.

Who could have thought that inventing a new system was hard? Granted, he had some success, but apart from him, no Quincy could use those moves. They required absolute dominion over Reishi—something that most Quincy wouldn't have. They had dominion over Reishi, but absolute dominion? That was another idea entirely.

Even Sora, as much as he glorified his control, wasn't as absolute as he liked it to be with the glove on.

As long as the person he was fighting was around his level, he could pillage the Reishi that made up their body. The only way they could escape was by entering something not made of Reishi—something made of Kishi, something physical... basically anything that originated from the living world.

Anything living that originated from the living world, like humans or animals. TL;DR: A Soul Reaper would have to jump into a Gigai.

And even then, it was GG because while a Soul Reaper is in a Gigai, they get weaker. So...

Without his glove, Sora could practically gather all of the Reishi in the Soul Society. He wondered if he could fuse with it—becoming the Soul Society itself.

Nah, that would be too busted. As if anyone could possess such power.

However, the Soul Reapers were up 2-0 against the Quincy right now. He wouldn't mind creating some Quincy techniques to make it more fair for the Quincy.

Granted, the only Quincy alive were him, his brother Uryu, and his dad, Ryuken.

Sōken's hips were not what they were in his prime, so it's not like he could have any kids—plus, he was dead. So there's that. Ryuken doesn't seem like the kind to have kids anymore, even if he is young.

And Uryu... pigs will fly before his brother manages to pull some hoes. The bitchlessness from his brother could be smelled from miles away.

Somewhere, Uryu was seen skidding. He huffed and puffed.

This was definitely going to get some use.

He gazed at the rock imbued with his Reishi on the side. He watched as the rock fell to the floor... He needed more practice with this.

However, before he could continue training his special ability—something he had been honing for a while—he felt the urge to beat the heck out of Sora.

This bastard was talking bullshit about him once again.

Sora better pray Uryu never catches him lacking.

Meanwhile, with Sora...

And Rukia's petite figure probably meant he would have to wait a decent time between each birth. Let's say 10 births per 100 years.

That would mean 100 births in 1,000 years.

Considering each of them had their own kids... let's say every 20 years, two new kids are born from the two kids that have turned 20. Multiply that by whatever the time frame he wanted.

He wondered how long it would take him to rebuild the Quincy species.

Fuck. Way too many kids.

He was not willing to make Rukia go through that, so like four kids in total seemed fine to him.

He would let nature decide whether they lived or died. It would make shit a whole lot easier for him if more Quincy were alive. He'd leave the whole breeding shit to them. He was taken—by a very cute girl.

He better remove "smashing a Quincy girl" from his to-do list. Probably would have "Shinigami" there instead. Plus, she was from one of those royal clans.

Welp, who cares? Fair trade-off, honestly.

They would try their plan later that day. He better finish the basics for his system. He would need several months to perfect it, make it better, and make it teachable.

This should help Uryu finally enter the captain-level tier.

As for Sora, this would probably just put him in the captain tier—so below Yamamoto and above Shunsui, give or take. He didn't know. The system was still a work in progress.

A/N....Place your prediction below, how those this arc end?

Maybe I got a bit.....overboard, just a bit.
