Chapter 29: The Planet Is Mine
Justinian already knew that what he was doing was not going to go unnoticed from Earth. Suddenly turning Mars which was 6 times smaller than Earth in mass alone into a planet slightly larger than Earth was going to be noticed.
He didn't just make Mars bigger using his reality manipulation and the duel Concepts of his friends, he began to fix the issues the planet had. With the added size and gravity of the planet, the solid core began to melt once again restarting the Magnetic Field of the planet.
He could feel it the moment the Field went back up which would be able to protect Mars' future atmosphere when he started to terraform it. While he modified the very composition of Mars, he also grew Phobos to a proper Moon of a similar size to Earth's Moon.
If he ever wanted to have oceans on Mars a moon to control the tides would be helpful. Once Phobos was up to proper size he moved the new moon with pure telekinetic force until it was the proper distance from Mars.
When he released it, the now larger Mars captured its new Moon in orbit causing Phobos to begin to orbit once more. With a sign, Justinian smiled to himself as his actions could be considered those of a god.
Who could say they could move the celestial bodies with their mind? Once Phobos was in orbit, he looked back down at the now much larger Mars. With its new stronger magnetic field, the atmosphere was now going to be protected from solar radiation.
However, it was still just a bigger rock which made him think of something.
"Now that is an idea, Leylines of Psymagic through the planet would produce a truly Psychic and Magical world."
As he was about to do this, he sensed a quickly approaching presence coming from Earth. With squinted eyes, he turned his head to see Superman flying out from Earth through the void of space.
'What does he want?'
He waited patiently until Superman reached him which was only a few moments. It was faster than when Justinian had flown to Mars when he first arrived in DC. He could do the same and possibly faster if he put some effort into it.
Justinian waved his hand and created a thin bubble of air around them so they could speak.
"What do you want, Kal-El? I am busy."
Superman looked down at Mars and then up at Phobos. He was in part deeply worried about what this meant of Justinian's strength and what kind of damage he could cause.
"I came to ask you that. You just changed the very size of a planet and created a new Moon. What you are doing is going to cause unforeseen changes to the Solar System."
Justinian raised his spear to rest it on his shoulder.
"And why should I care about all of that? You came to me, to my planet to tell me what I am doing is wrong. What authority do you have over what I do off Earth?"
Superman squinted his eyes as he could tell that Justinian wasn't in a friendly mood today.
"I hold no such authority, but actions like this are not natural. Think of the consequences of your action and you don't own Mars. No one owns Mars you don't simply own a planet."
Justinian gripped his Guardian Spear even tighter. He clenched his left fist as he began to surge power into his Lastrum Storm Bolter.
"Are you going to enforce that claim, Kryptonian?"
Superman and Justinian stared each other down for a few tense moments. The standoff took a turn for the worst when a portal opened behind Justinian and his 40 Elite Burning Martians emerged to back him up.
He didn't need their help, but the moment they emerged Superman knew that he was not only outnumbered, he was outgunned. White Martian Elites were one of the few creatures in the Solar System and Galaxy that could hurt him.
Just one was a menace, but Justinian's Honor Guard as he called them were Elites among Elites. That was not even taking into consideration their new evolutions into their true ancestral forms.
Remnosh flew until she was next to him and she shot a glare at Superman.
"Superman, you are not welcome on Mars. Step away from our planet and go."
Before he could say anything, the other 39 Elites raised their weapons at him. Weapons that hummed with Psymagical enhancements. To make matters worse, the fortress down below aimed all their weapon batteries at him.
He could see them from orbit and these weapons were specially crafted planetary defense weapons. These weapons could in theory hurt him since they were all from 40k and they worked to deal with Void Shields.
Seeing the odds against him, Superman decided to leave before he was kicked out by force. Even he didn't want to face Justinian, his Guards, and planetary bombardment at the same time.
"I understand."
Superman turned around and he flew off back to Earth leaving Justinian annoyed.
"Damn Kryptonian."
Remnosh turned to him.
"What did he want?"
Justinian pointed at Mars.
"He was starting to complain about my modifications to the Mars. Speaking of which, did anything go wrong?"
Remnosh shook her head.
"No, you managed to keep everything perfectly stable. We did sense some mild quakes, but our shapers were able to stop any issues as a result of that. I would think that deeper down there might be more changes, but for the most part, we were spared any trouble."
Justinian hummed.
"Good to know. You all can stick around for this as I only have one more thing to do."
Sigismund turned to regard him.
"And what might that be my King?"
Justinian turned to regard him.
"Tell me, do you know what a Leyline is?"
Sigismund looked at his fellow Burning Martians and all of them shook their heads.
"I do not think I am familiar with the term."
Justinian expected that.
"I didn't expect you to. Leylines are effectively rivers of magic that run through a planet saturating it with magic. Of course, they are not real rivers, they are just paths through which mana, in particular, is produced.
I plan to create these Leylines myself, but rather than having them produce mana. I plan to create these Leylines with mana and psychic energy causing Mars to slowly naturally begin to produce Psymagic. It will increase the abilities of my Shapers and those who use magic and Psychic abilities naturally cause an evolution among the native populations.
You may be wondering if that will cause trouble for our Unification Wars, but no. It would take too long for the Martians to gain proper magic abilities and they would be fools to go against me. When I can move a moon like this, who is to say I can't do more?"
Lauralina began to smile with a truly overjoyed expression on her face. If this was not an example of the divine nature of her Lord and Master then nothing was.
"I AM NOT WORTHY TO BASK IN YOUR PRESENCE!"
Justinian glanced at the zealous girl before he smiled.
"Of course you are."
Remnosh glanced at him out of the corner of his eye, but he sent her a message.
'Play along, she is kinda crazy.'
'Got it.'
All of the rest of his guards began to nod as even they thought she was batshit insane. She was one of the most brutal during the Green Extermination and she took a sick joy in causing pain. That was not unique to her, but she took it to another level.
Remnosh floated over and held Lauralina's shoulder.
"Come on you crazy girl, let him work."
With almost a sad look on her face, Lauraline looked at his back.
"But, shouldn't I record this event in the holy book as it happens? It would be such an offense to the future generations if I can't even record it happening."
Justinian thought about it.
"You know what, stick around. All of you, just watch."
With a beaming smile, she pulled a large book from her shadow and opened it up to a new page. While she and the rest of his Honor Guard he took a deep breath. This was going to be trickier than before, but not too difficult.
He aimed his Guardian Spear at the planet before he enhanced his abilities once again with Concepts. Just one of these made Great Red a powerful entity, but he had access to two of them at the same time.
Using the power these granted him, he enhanced his Psychic and Magical abilities to the limit which he surged into his spear. With this energy, he began to pull all the ambient mana in space toward him in a massive surge of power.
He also used his massive mana stores and his powerful psychic energy. With his unique Heart, he produced Psymagic on his own which had been enhanced with Conceptual Energy from Ddraig and Albion. He was drawing so much power that he was starting to glow like a small sun.
It was so bright that his Honor Guard including Remnosh placed their helmets on to avoid the glare. Justinian continued to draw more and more mana from his surroundings and his reserves until he held so much energy that he was starting to form solid crystals of Psymagic around him.
When he gathered enough, he took that mana and unleashed it onto the planet. Using absolute control over his abilities the ocean of energy that he gathered began to fall underground.
With a flex of his will, he started to carve out proper Leylines starting from the core of the planet and the layers of Mars. He aimed his left gauntlet which still contained the soul of his slumbering Dragon Friend.
The sheer amount of power granted to him by just the Concept of Domination was so extreme that the red gauntlet began to warp under the pressure. It went from a red gauntlet standing out against his dark purple armor to a rapidly darkening black.

Golden lines began to form across the Sacred Gear under the amount of power produced by his strength. He ignored all of that as under the eyes of his Honor Guard himself he created Leylines throughout Mars.
In all honestly, the planet did have them, but they were so few and weak they might as well not exist. Using those existing Leylines, he surged them with so much Psymagic that they began to flow like proper rivers of energy.
[Boost.]
He had yet to use the Boosted Gear after Ddraig became a Dragon God, but when he did he was pleasantly surprised. His power didn't Double, it quadrupled itself which didn't seem like much. But just that much with how strong he was at his base was a massive enhancement.
This directly caused all of the energy he had gathered to quadruple and so did all his control. The sheer surge of energy started to cause Mars to begin to glow with Golden Purple rivers as the Leylines began to hum with energy.
He took only a few more moments to stabilize them before he released his control over them. The moment he released it, the flood of energy started as Psymagic began to flow unregulated through the planet.
From the core, surface, and even the atmosphere the planet began to shimmer in his gaze.
"There we go."
When he released his hold over the two Concepts he relaxed as he enjoyed looking at this sight. All the while Lauralina was scribbling away at what she was seeing. Even the rest of his Honor Guards from the look of things were entranced.
They took the chance to take in the sight of their planet glowing. In the coming months, their previously barren planet would recover an atmosphere, and even begin to change as a result of the modifications done by their King.
Remnosh turned to regard him.
"So what do you plan to do with the new moon?"
"I will do the same as I did to the planet. Once the Leylines are active on the Moon, I plan to have it as a weapons battery or a Shipyard. Now, all we need to do is wait and prepare for the coming battles we will face. Now, let us return to see what has occurred."
Justinian teleported them all back to his throne room and the moment he did the feeling of things was noticeable. The gravity for one was much stronger which was quite comfortable since the light gravity before was annoying.
The largest Leyline he created was running directly under Cadia City making the city flow with energy that rose from down below. When he sat himself down on his throne, he felt that Mars was now going to begin to feel like a real home after this.
Now he just had to wait for his slacker friends to wake up which would not be much longer at this rate.
