Everything happened so fast; from the serve thrown by Lucas to the counterattack launched by Nitta, less than five seconds had passed. Adding to the fact that the last attack happened in such a tight area, it was hard to determine what was the outcome of the last play. It wasn't until the ball bounced on Konan's side that all the people there realized what happened, and the first one to react was of course the main protagonist of the story, Nitta. "HELL YEAH!" The ace roared, venting out his emotion after the successful attack. Even though this was just a point and his team was still down by three, this was important to keep the team's morale afloat. Even though they hated it, they had to admit that in terms of raw power, Nitta was a top-tier player with probably only Lucas from their team that could match it. Fortunately, Shimada was more than ready to receive it. Even with a little spin that made the ball curved, the team's defensive specialist was still calm as he tracked the ball until the last second, wiping his hand to tell Lucas silently to move away from his position. As a result, not only the ball was received perfectly, but the ace was already in his best position with a lot of space in front of him to run up, ready to leap forward to launch a counterattack. While usually, they would try to talk so that their teammates wouldn't be too upset for the failure, this time, they could see the burning determination on Lucas's eyes, and they knew they had nothing to worry about. True to their thought, in the next play, Konan High launched another blitz attack once again after Shimada managed to receive the serve. This time, even though there were three blockers in front of him, Lucas didn't even bat his eyes on them. He challenged the three Kyoei blockers on an aerial duel, staying in the air a few seconds longer than anyone else and as the three Kyoei players had already reached their highest point and started landing, he smashed the ball without hesitation, piercing the thin wall in front of him. BAM! -0- "HOLY SHIT!" Riku who was the closest to the screen jumped on the spot, startling all of his teammates nearby. "What the hell is that?!" His eyes widened, bewildered. Not just him, but all of the people there also had similar expressions. They all were flabbergasted at Konan's last point. The play really showed off Lucas's outrageous physicality, from his jumping ability to the raw power he possessed. Everything was top-notch that even Akira himself couldn't believe Lucas was just a high-school player. "To think that we thought we have already known what he is capable of… It seems he was still holding back in the game against us in the last Inter-high a few months ago. We are so naïve here…"
