The Bizarre Wizarding World

Chapter 463 Invitation

Golden Barley Wizard Tower, study.

"All the True Knowledge Society's information regarding Knights and body transformation is here."

Shelley handed the Knowledge Crystal to Colin, hesitated, and then asked, "Are you asking for these because of the Knight Breathing Method from before?"

"There's some connection." Colin took the crystal and vaguely replied.

He hadn't given up on trying to find a way to further improve Knight strength through his own research.

After all, that was the optimal choice.

Shelley didn't ask any more questions, only saying, "Do you have any free time recently? There are some things about the textile factory I'd like to ask you."

"Is it a pressing issue?"

"Not really, just some details."

"Let's wait a little longer, until I'm finished with my current tasks." Colin caressed the crystal in his hand and pondered as he spoke.

But after saying that, he felt not quite right, so he added, "I'll come with you now and take a look; if it's just some details, it shouldn't take too much time, right?"

"No need." Shelley shook her head and seriously said, "The textile factory is a minor matter, you should prioritize your own issues."

"After all, the entire Tilamei Plain relies on your protection... Even the Truth Society can carry out their long-held beliefs thanks to your cover."

"You've already shared so much advanced knowledge with us free of charge, both I and the tutor are grateful to you..."

"You don't have to be so formal with me, Shelley." Colin shook his head lightly.

"If you need it, I can help you contact Tutor Silvester." Shelley considered for a moment and then offered.

"Not for now."

"Alright, then I wish you success and that you resolve your current troubles soon."

Watching Shelley's retreating figure, Colin let out a light sigh and pressed the Knowledge Crystal to his forehead, quickly browsing through it.

In the evening, Colin set aside the Knowledge Crystal, exhausted, and pressed his eyebrows.

The Truth Society's records of Knight and First Rank Wizard body transformation knowledge were as numerous as stars. Half a day had passed, and he had managed to look through only a small portion.

As for results... there were none so far.

Time flew by.

For three whole days, Colin remained in the study, poring over all the collected materials day and night, only stepping out into the Wizard Tower's garden each evening for a short walk.

Despite such hard work, Colin had quickly reviewed the number of Knight Breathing Skills well into the thousands, and the methods of First Rank Wizard body transformation numbered in the hundreds!

Regrettably, the growth in the amount of low-rank knowledge did not lead to a qualitative change.

He still hadn't made any breakthroughs regarding the Fourth Rank Knight methods.

However, after some effort, it was not all in vain. At least Colin had some new ideas for improvements to the current Red Light Breathing Method.

Once the optimization and improvements were complete, he should be able to increase his strength by another ten percent.

On the fourth day's morning.

Colin had looked through all the knowledge about Knights and First Rank Wizard body transformation from both the Supreme Council and the Truth Society.

The massive intake of information made his head swell. If not for Lily's punctual delivery of the Supreme Council's bulletins, and the sunlight streaming in through the window on schedule, he would have lost track of time.

Sitting in an armchair, pressing the center of his forehead, Colin rifled through today's announcements from the Supreme Council.

After reading through it once, he suddenly furrowed his brows, reached into the desk drawer, and pulled out the Council bulletins from the previous few days.

After careful comparison, Colin concluded,

"The number of positive dispatches is dwindling... the war on the front lines has likely fallen into a stalemate once again."

The Divine would not passively take hits; that the Wizards had been able to push their victories to this extent was already impressive... Colin silently consoled himself, but his heart was still somewhat uneasy.

This unease, rather than worrying about changes in the war on the front lines, was perhaps more about his own path ahead...

The desk was cluttered with Knowledge Crystals of various colors; each one had been reviewed, but all were fruitless.

Colin couldn't help but sigh.

'Could it really be that my only options are to seek Divine Blood on the front lines, or discard the Knight Power and follow the traditional Wizard path?'

Knock knock knock—

A gentle knock on the door suddenly sounded.

Colin came back to his senses and softly said,

"Come in."

With a creak, the door was gently pushed open; Lillian walked in, holding a crystal.

"There's a message for you, sent through the Communication Ring Tower from Merredith City, signed by Ryden."

"A message from Ryden?" Colin was a bit puzzled, took it from her hand, and pressed it to his forehead.

Lillian glanced at the chaotic desk and the exhausted-looking Colin, and couldn't help but sigh inwardly.

Moments later, Colin put down the crystal, rubbed his chin in thought, then suddenly pulled out a bulletin from the pile on the desk and started to read it.

"What's the message?" Lillian asked.

"Ryden has sent me an invitation," Colin paused slightly, then realizing Lillian hadn't left, he looked up to answer and then his gaze returned to the bulletin.

Lillian seemed to want to say something more, but seeing his busy appearance, she only pursed her lips briefly and said, "I see."

After that, she left the study quietly.

...

In the evening, the orange sunset slowly sank into the earth.

Knock knock knock—

A gentle knock on the door suddenly sounded again.
