The Bloodbath Odyssey; I reincarnated to become the cursed

Chapter : TEASER

[this is just a run down of how the book goes, the system at which thee chapters are drilled in . Though might contain little spoiler but just... have a glance]

*Entities

These are mystical forces that existed before time. Its full knowledge can never be known, but it is the soul that maintains the balance of the universe. It is called Azrax.

*Azrax

This was once a whole entity, but due to some events, it split into two aspects by what was called the Great Fracture. The two aspects are the Luzrax aspect and the Umbrax aspect.

*Luzrax Aspect (Known as the Light Aspect)

This is the source of power that the Azren draw from, which they use for good and for the protection of the city.

*Umbrax Aspect (or the Dark Aspect)

It is the anti-self of the Azrax, created by the Great Fracture. This is where the Waithraites draw from. It feeds on hate, sorrow, agony, and the bad aspects of life.

*Bloodbath / Purge

This was a tragedy that occurred eons ago that almost led to the destruction of mankind. In short, the Bloodbath, though lessened by the sacrifice of a once-great Omega, still had a devastating effect on the part of the world it touched. It left the Pure ruined, tore the Broken apart, and then gave birth to the Unholy, Demons.

The Pure were changed into something else, cursed to live for eternity but never able to feel the rays of the sun. They could only lock themselves in and enjoy the darkness, feeding on blood and only able to die if their hearts were ripped out or pierced. They were called Singrith.

The Broken were completely torn apart. They acted purely on rage, driven by anything fresh, flesh and blood. They spread sorrow and fed on a person's darkest and most tormented memories. They were called Soulnexers.

The Bloodbath had also torn the veil in the interdimension, allowing demons to slip free from the underworld and letting nightmares escape from the dream dimension. These nightmares were called Inferraiths.

*The Great City

This was one of the largest cities that had survived the Bloodbath. Apart from its advanced technology, it had a strict hierarchical power structure, from the lowest ranks to the leaders. There were seven levels in total:

Fluxborn

Xenon

Accrehx

Alpha

Omega

White Elders

The Sentinel

These levels are determined by tournaments. After training, one will enroll to become an Azren.

Azren are those sworn to protect the Castle and its people, known for their deep connection to the mystical energy field called the Azrax.

They are often portrayed as peacekeepers, protectors, and spiritual warriors who fight for justice. They are the soldiers who defend both the Castle and the City.

To become an Azren, one must pass the tournaments, which consist of two rounds:

The Arena Battles

The Woods Hint

*Sublevels

These are the stages within each level. In the Creche level/rank, there will be a series of missions and training that will help one begin to advance to the next sublevels.

In Creche, there are sublevels like:

Seeker

Hunter

Duke

Marauder

When one completes a set mission given to them, they move up to the next sublevel and are addressed as a Seeker in that level.

When they destroy a Singriths, depending on the level of that Singriths, they also advance to Hunter. Extra points are awarded when they take down a Soulnexer, but when they destroy a Demon, they automatically jump to the next level.

*The Azrax

This is the energy that lives in everyone. It is what channels one's power. However, once you are enrolled as an Azren, you unlock another part of the Azrax.

Though it lives in everyone (except those without powers), this part requires Mind Sync Cultivation to unlock.

That part of the Azrax is called the Within Beast, and it has two forms:

The Lucent Form: In this form, the beast is seen as though it were a projection, not in its true state, but it mimics and does whatever the Azren does.

The Real Form: Here, it appears in its true form and has a will of its own, unless the Azren controls it.

The Azrax needs to be tamed and mastered by its Azren. There are different beasts for different Azren.

*Mind Syncing Cultivation

Except when advancing into the Creche level, whenever an Azren is about to advance to the next level, maybe the Xenon rank, he or she undergoes the Cultivation Process, where they recuperate for three days in deep meditation.

At that point, he or she is at their most vulnerable.

*Singriths

The Singriths are also classified into levels, depending on how long one has lived and how many Azren they have captured. The Singriths are known to use Azren for their bidding and protection during the daytime. Once they capture an Azren, they compel him and turn him into a slave. These slaves are called Outcasts. Singriths that are able to compel people are considered the highest-ranked Singriths.

The Defiled

The Tainted

The Ruined

The Hollowed

The Dispirited (able to compel)

When these Singriths are killed, a Kernel is earned, and with that kernel, an Azren advances to a rank or sublevel.

*Waithraites

This is the common name for Singriths, Soulnexers, and Demons, all dark beings.

*Kernel Essence

This is the complete attribute, rank, and power wielded by the Waithraites. It depends on the rank and level of the Waithraite.

When one is killed, an Azren collects the Kernel, and that is what determines how they move up to the next level.

There are different kinds of kernel essence depending on the level of the Waithraite killed. They include:

White Kernel

Blue Kernel

Red Kernel

Silvered Kernel

Golden Kernel

...and others yet to be discovered.

*Soulnexers Ranks:

There are six ranks of Soulnexers:

Grievers

Sorrowlings

Mireborn

Woehounds

Remnants

Mindwailers

*Demon Ranks

Demons have ranks as well and require a lot of headcount to move to the next levels. An Azren's head, like that of someone in the Creche level, is worth two heads, and so on. The ranks include:

The Imp

Tempter

Corrupters

Warriors

Arch Demons

Primordial Devils

Demon Lords

The Inferraiths are also demons, but they are ones that hunt in nightmares.

*The Lotus

Finally, we have the Lotus. These are the people who, though they live in the Great City, have no concern with its hierarchies. They take no orders from the Sentinels. They only protect what is theirs and fight only for a just cause. They are divided into three:

White Lotus

Red Lotus

Black Lotus

As the ranks go higher, the number of people found within them becomes fewer.

In the Great City, there are six Sentinels, and they are considered the leaders of the Great City. However, among the six, one has the final say, he is like their mind, the top man.

There are only seven White Elders, and in that way, the ranks become fewer as one advances higher.
