The Boundless King: Anime Mania

Chapter 4: Chapter 4: First Steps into Konoha

In the vast, endless void of his virtual training battlefield, Aki stood still, his breath steady, his body humming with an unfamiliar yet exhilarating power.

The first seal of his Perfect Body had shattered.

And the changes were… undeniable.

He raised a hand to his hair, watching as strands of blood-red, silver, and black caught the dim glow of the training space's artificial light. What was once a simple dark shade had now become something wilder, a visual manifestation of his evolution.

But the most striking transformation was his eyes.

Before, they had been blue-gray, calm like the sky before a storm—piercing yet restrained. But now…

His pupils had morphed into a cross-shaped pattern, glowing with an unsettling yet mesmerizing blend of deep crimson and royal purple. They pulsed, shifting slightly with each breath, as if reacting to the boundless energy surging through his veins.

"Tch… this is getting out of hand," Aki muttered, staring at his reflection in the abyss-like walls of the training dimension.

His body felt limitless. Every fiber, every cell, reinforced by an incomprehensible power—one that now flowed through him without resistance, unshackled from the constraints of its former seal.

And as if responding to his realization—

Aki grinned.

"Now we're talking."

He clenched his fist, feeling the raw density of his energy swirling just beneath the surface of his skin. The power was intoxicating, but unlike before—where strength had once burned like an untamed inferno—this energy was calm, absolute, and unwavering.

"I've powered up enough…" He exhaled, his excitement barely contained. "It's time to see this world for myself."

And with that thought, he vanished, stepping out of his training dimension and into the waking world.

For the first time since arriving in this world, Aki was going to explore Konoha.

The warm glow of the afternoon sun bathed the streets of the Hidden Leaf Village as Aki strolled through the bustling market district, hands in his pockets, his crimson-silver-black hair catching the light.

People whispered as he passed, their gazes lingering on his striking appearance—his unusual hair, his sharp features, and most of all, his intimidating eyes that glowed with an unnatural brilliance.

"Who is that…?"

"Is he a ninja? I don't recognize him."

"His eyes… they don't look normal."

Aki ignored them, his focus elsewhere.

He could sense powerful chakra signatures scattered throughout the village. Some familiar—like the Sandaime Hokage, the ANBU watching him from the rooftops, and the faint presence of the Nine-Tails sealed within Naruto.

But before he could delve deeper into his surroundings, he heard raised voices from a nearby alley.

Curious, he turned the corner—only to witness a pathetic sight.

Three older boys stood in a semi-circle, sneering down at a familiar blonde-haired kid.

Naruto.

Bruises marred his skin, and his orange jumpsuit was dirtied from being shoved onto the ground. But despite the pain, he gritted his teeth, standing protectively in front of someone—

A timid, pale-eyed girl curled up against the alley wall.

Hinata.

Her body trembled as she clutched the hem of her oversized jacket, her eyes squeezed shut in fear as the bullies loomed over her.

"The hell is this?" Aki muttered, his voice low.

The bullies hadn't noticed him yet, too focused on kicking Naruto while he was down.

"Stay down, loser," one of them sneered, shoving Naruto back onto the ground. "Why do you even care about this weakling? She's a failure just like you."

Hinata flinched, her hands gripping the fabric of her sleeves.

Naruto, despite the pain, grinned stubbornly. "So what? At least I don't go around bullying people like a bunch of cowards!"

One of the bullies raised a fist, ready to strike—

And in that instant, Aki moved.

Like a blur of shadow and flame, he appeared behind the lead bully, his glowing cross-shaped pupils locking onto the boy's form like a predator eyeing prey.

The sheer pressure of his presence made the air feel suffocating.

"You should probably stop now," Aki said, his voice smooth but dangerously calm.

The boys froze.

Naruto blinked. "H-Huh?"

The lead bully turned, barely able to process what was happening—only to be met with Aki's intense, otherworldly gaze.

And that was enough.

His legs gave out.

With a pathetic whimper, the boy collapsed to his knees, his body shaking violently. His friends weren't faring any better—one of them looked on the verge of tears, the other barely able to breathe under the sheer weight of Aki's presence.

"M-Monster…" one of them choked out.

Aki tilted his head, a smirk forming on his lips. "Not yet."

Then, with the lightest tap of his foot—

BOOM.

The ground split apart beneath them, a controlled shockwave blasting the bullies backward like ragdolls, sending them tumbling down the alleyway.

They scrambled to their feet and ran for their lives.

Aki sighed. "Weak."

Turning back, he found Naruto staring at him in pure awe, his mouth hanging open.

Hinata, on the other hand—

Was out cold.

Her face was beet red, her body completely stiff as she lay on the ground, unconscious from sheer embarrassment.

Aki blinked. "…Did she just pass out?"

Naruto let out a nervous chuckle. "Y-Yeah… she does that."

Aki sighed, shaking his head. So this was Hinata, huh?

He crouched down, gently lifting her into his arms. "Guess I'll take her home, then."

Naruto's eyes widened. "Really? You're not gonna leave her here?"

Aki shot him a look. "What kind of person do you think I am?"

Naruto scratched his cheek, laughing sheepishly. "Heh, I dunno… but thanks, man."

Aki glanced at the unconscious girl in his arms. Despite her unbearable shyness, she wasn't weak. He could sense it—the hidden potential within her.

Maybe… just maybe… he could help bring it out.

But for now—

"Come on, Naruto," Aki said, shifting Hinata slightly. "After we drop her off, we're getting ramen. My treat."

Naruto lit up. "For real?! You're the best, bro!"

Aki just smirked.
