The CEO's Cherished Heart

Chapter 14: Chapter 14: Gentle Domination Wrapped in Tenderness

Su Jin had just changed into her outfit. It was a white knit dress trimmed with delicate lace, the hem reaching her calves. She paired it with cream-colored leather shoes. When she stood before Luo Xian, she looked like a perfectly crafted porcelain doll. The emerald green in Luo Xian's eyes seemed to deepen as he gazed at her.

His "little angel" probably had no idea about the depths of a man's desires. One of those desires was to dress his cherished, petite wife like a doll—to pamper her, protect her, and cherish her for a lifetime.

As Luo Xian reached out to hold Su Jin's delicate hand, his gaze was unguardedly filled with indulgence. He kissed the back of her hand, as though he were touching the most precious treasure. Su Jin's heart couldn't help but race uncontrollably again.

To be valued, to be treated like a treasure, to feel like the only person in someone's world—that feeling was overwhelming. It was direct and fervent, like a storm wrapping her in its powerful embrace. She couldn't escape it; instead, it seeped into her very being, filling her with an inexplicable warmth.

Su Jin tried hard to suppress her emotions. This is an illusion. It has to be an illusion.

This time, Luo Xian didn't pick her up. Instead, he held her hand firmly, leading her toward the car. His strides were long and commanding, a stark contrast to Su Jin's small, delicate steps. However, Luo Xian adjusted his pace to match hers, ensuring she could walk comfortably beside him.

When the driver opened the car door and saw them approaching, he couldn't help but marvel. The harmony and effortless compatibility between the two were undeniable. They seemed to embody the very definition of a "perfect match."

Seated inside the car, Su Jin noticed something different about the interior. A small cabinet had been added, and Luo Xian's expectant gaze left no doubt that he wanted her to open it. She glanced at him, her eyes questioning, but he merely smiled, his expression encouraging.

Opening the cabinet, she was surprised to find it filled with snacks—an assortment of fruits, nuts, and other treats. She froze for a moment, caught off guard.

At that moment, Luo Xian gently cupped her chin, tilting her face toward him. His expression had shifted to one of slight displeasure, like someone whose carefully planned surprise had failed to elicit the desired reaction.

"You don't like it?" he asked.

She shook her head quickly. "No, I like it."

"Then why don't you look happy? Why aren't you smiling?" He glanced at the driver before continuing, "Ma Chao said girls love snacks and that it's a good way to pass the time. I thought it might cheer you up. Plus, I wouldn't mind if you gained a little weight. So, I had this prepared for you. It'll keep you entertained and help you put on some healthy weight. Isn't that great?"

The driver, Ma Chao, felt a chill run down his spine. Heaven help me! I only made a casual comment, and now the boss has turned it into a full-blown initiative.

Luo Xian wasn't just talking; he was taking action. He reached out and playfully pinched Su Jin's cheek, his fingers kneading and poking gently. Her soft, tender skin was irresistible, and he muttered under his breath, "A little more meat on your cheeks would make them even more fun to pinch."

Su Jin quickly covered her face with her hands, shielding herself from further assault. Does he think my face is a stress ball? She let out a small, exasperated whine, "That hurts." Her voice, much to her own surprise, carried a hint of a pouty nasal tone, almost like she was sulking.

Luo Xian immediately withdrew his hand, his gaze softening even further. He tore open a bag of snacks, pulled out a piece of dried meat, and held it up to her lips.

Every snack in the cabinet had been meticulously selected. Luo Xian had personally ensured they were of the highest quality, fresh, and hygienic. Nothing but the best would do for his treasure. These treats weren't even available on the market; they were replaced daily, whether in the car, the office, the bedroom, or any place he planned to take her.

Su Jin accepted the offering quietly, nibbling on the snack like a cautious little hamster. She ate slowly and carefully, her gaze occasionally darting toward Luo Xian. Her cautious and deliberate movements melted his heart.

Luo Xian continued feeding her, one snack after another. If a piece was too large, he didn't hesitate to take a bite himself, ensuring it was the perfect size before offering it to her. He observed her closely, analyzing her every expression. Even the slightest change in her demeanor was noted and committed to memory. He cataloged her likes and dislikes, making a mental note to adjust the snack selection accordingly.

When Su Jin finally couldn't eat another bite, Luo Xian relented. By then, the car had arrived at their destination.

Luo Xian carefully carried her out of the car, cradling her as if she were the most delicate porcelain. Su Jin clung to his jacket, burying her face like a bashful ostrich, unwilling to meet the curious gazes of passersby. She whispered in a pleading tone, "Can I walk on my own, please?"

Luo Xian nodded, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "Shy little fool. But if you get tired, I'll carry you again. No arguments."

Hand in hand, they strolled into the mall. Some say that a man's love can be measured by three simple words: "Buy, buy, buy." In Luo Xian's case, this sentiment was taken to an entirely new level. He wasn't just indulging her; he was downright spoiling her.

Luo Xian had a keen eye, effortlessly noticing which items caught Su Jin's attention. Before she could even express interest, he'd already have an attendant package them up. His enthusiasm bordered on the obsessive as he meticulously selected outfits, shoes, and accessories for her. Every choice was made with care and precision, as if he were crafting the perfect masterpiece.

When it came to shoes, Luo Xian insisted on handling everything himself. He knelt in front of Su Jin, gently holding her foot in his hand. Startled, Su Jin instinctively tried to pull back, but his firm yet gentle grip kept her in place.

Unhurriedly, Luo Xian removed her shoes and socks with the utmost care, as though he were handling a fragile treasure. His focused expression and deliberate movements gave the moment an almost sacred quality. As he slipped a new pair of shoes onto her feet, Su Jin found herself utterly captivated. Her gaze was fixed on him, her heart pounding uncontrollably. She clenched her hands tightly, a nervous habit she couldn't quite shake.

When Luo Xian finally looked up, his eyes shimmered with a light that seemed to spill over, catching her off guard. For a fleeting moment, Su Jin thought of a phrase she'd only read in novels: "love at first sight."

His lips curved into a soft, tender smile—a smile meant for her and her alone. "Do they fit? Do you like them?" he asked.

Her throat felt dry, and she was afraid her voice would come out hoarse. Unable to find the words, she simply nodded.

"Good. Then we'll take this style. I'll have them pack every color they have. You'll look stunning in all of them." His tone left no room for negotiation. Luo Xian's gentleness was wrapped in a layer of unwavering dominance. His possessiveness and intensity were always just beneath the surface, never truly gone.

Unbeknownst to them, they had become the center of attention. Onlookers couldn't help but admire the beautiful couple. Women, in particular, watched with a mix of envy and longing. Luo Xian's doting gaze and the way he cherished Su Jin were like something out of a fairy tale. It was the kind of love every girl dreamed of—to be someone's everything.

Their shopping bags were swiftly taken care of by attendants as they left the mall. Outside, Luo Xian turned to Su Jin and asked, "Where to next?" As he spoke, he noticed her gaze lingering on a nearby hotpot restaurant.

He chuckled, reaching out to gently stroke her cheek. "You little foodie."

"I'm not!" Su Jin protested, her face flushing with embarrassment. She hadn't meant to stare; it was just that she hadn't had spicy food in so long. The sight of the restaurant had stirred her craving for hotpot, even if it was something she rarely indulged in. Eating spicy food always left her a mess, with teary eyes and a runny nose. It was hardly a graceful sight.

But Luo Xian had already seen through her. Without a word, he took her hand and led her toward the restaurant. His actions spoke volumes: if this was what she wanted, then this was what they would do. No matter how ordinary or trivial, as long as it made her happy, he would be there to share it with her.
