Just then Kian heard a voice, it sounded ethereal. It was almost as if the world stopped. He looked around and saw a very beautiful woman standing near the man.

"I've longed to see you… Kian"

"Who… who are you?"

"The real question is, who are you?"

"You already said my name"

"No not your name, I mean, who you are truly" She walked up to him "Are you a hero? A friend? A monster? Who are you, Kian?"

"I'm…"

"You do not know?"

"I… I want to be a hero"

"So you're not a hero?"

Kian didn't know what to say, what was he, was he just a boy with big dreams? Was he a friend?

"Well, it seems you don't know yet, but I'll let you take a shortcut."

"A shortcut?"

"Mhm, A spell. The name of it is… Blades of the Sky."

"Blades of the Sky?"

"Correct, If is a spell that brings slashes down as if it were from the sky. Well, I believe that's all I do wish I could have talked longer…"

"Wait!"

She slowly disappeared and time resumed. Kian looked at the man, but this time he was ready, ready to beat him.

As the fight went on, Arthur was trying to buy some bread.

"Um, young man, shouldn't you be concerned?"

"Hm? Oh about the battle, nah, I'm sure they'll win.

"But Mr. Blackthorn!"

"Ah ah, look at me, We. Will. Be. Okay." He patted his shoulder as he grabbed the bread and put the coins in the man's satchel.

He then walked off enjoying his steamy bread until it was flung out of his hand, he looked and saw a huge man in heavy armor with a battleaxe, next him was a slightly skinner man in light steel armor with 2 swords at his side and a greatsword in hand.

"Come on, that bread was expensive!"

"Arthur Blackthorn, why are you not fighting?" the big one asked

"Don't need to, they got it."

"You believe in them that much?" the smaller was lifted his head in question

"Indeed"

"If that is so, then we do apologize for interrupting your free time." The smaller one said with a bow of apology.

"Actually I was waiting for a reason to show my skills, that man is too easy to beat."

"Then why didn't you defeat him before?" The big one asked.

"Ah, that's simple, he's a test… for them. My trump card, I just used it to see if it was still deadly to me, in which it's not as deadly" Arthur said with a clap of joy.

"Well, I hope we can be of some fun to you…" The big gripped his battleaxe swinging it over his shoulder. "Because you sure will be to us, ARTHUR BLACKTHORN!"

As they both launched at him he gripped his sword and smirked.

"Now this is my battle, Commander Elara!"

The 2 men immediately stopped and dropped to their knees. As a woman walked between them. She wore light armor, her hair in a ponytail, her eyes daring.

"How did you notice?" She asked with an amused smirk.

"How could I not, after all. Me and you go way back"

"I've been waiting for another chance to beat you"

"Oh come on, I was young, I couldn't beat an experienced warrior"

"You're saying a girl could beat you? I never thought Arthur Blackthorn would say such things"

"Meh, either way. I get a rematch. Unless your gonna hide behind those 2"

"It's not like they'd be much of a challenge to someone like you"

Both men grunted. Commander Elara gripped her sword and unsheathed it pointing it at Arthur. "But, because you lost last time, I will make you fight them first"

Arthur sighed "Fine" His voice filled with boredom as he pulled out his sword.

The 2 men stood as well holding their weapons ready for battle with smirks.

Arthur took a deep breath and looked at Commander Elara. "Watch me" He then dashed past them in a blink of an eye, as Shhkk. Both stood in their tracks as blood trickled from their sides as they collapsed.

Commander Elara walked up and looked at the men then she looked at Arthur with a smirk. "Honestly if you weren't my enemy, I'd instantly marry you."

"Aww, really? I'm flattered" he readied himself.

"Will you take me out?" she asked in a cute voice

Arthur smirked "In our fight or for a date?"

"Oh, think you will beat me huh?"

"I don't think, I know I will" He smirked

Both readied themselves and dashed towards each other, with a loud, Clang! The two started to clash as sparks flew up in the air. For normal eyes, it wasn't visible as the 2 were moving at unnatural speeds.

Arthur raised his sword and brought his sword down upon Elara, but she hopped back. "Almost got me there, but it seems, you're still quite slow" She twirled her sword in her hand and dashed as Arthur blocked, but not without getting sent back.

Elara saw this and got greedy with her slashes, which Arthur couldn't keep up with and soon Elara knocked him into a building, knocking his sword out of his hands. He looked at his sword and reached for it, but Elara pointed her sword at him.

"Looks like I won. I'll be waiting for that date." She started to walk away. Arthur sighed and stood dusting himself off.

"Well can't say I didn't have fun. I wonder if they are finished" He turned and saw the aftermath of the big battle. Dust and rumble was everywhere as he walked.

As he kept walking he heard a voice, then saw someone. "I didn't think you'd show up."

The person turned "Is that so?"

"Did you come to see him?"

"Yes, We all want to, she came to him first though"

"I see. I don't know much about you guys, but I did receive a blessing from you." Arthur looked around. "Where is he?" She pointed and there he was. Standing, his eyes glowed as he looked up, he didn't move, nor talk.

"W-what happened?"

During Arthur's fight with Elara and the 2 men.

Kian held his hand up in the air, and took a deep breath as the man looked at him with confusion.

"Blades of the Sky!" he yelled, but nothing happened.

The man looked up and chuckled. "A spell you can't even use, how tragic." He walked towards Kian and gut punched him.

Selene threw a steel bar at the man, but he bit it. Selene's eyes widened and she looked at him. The man's eyes were black and his body was starting to shift into something bigger and scarier.

"YOU DAMNED GIRL! YOU KEEP THROWING THINGS AT ME DURING MY FUN TIME! I'LL END YOUR LIFE"

The man rose his hand which was way bigger than before and brought it down on Selene, but Kian stopped it before it could hit her. "RUN! Take Kazuya and Run!"

"We aren't leaving you!'

"Yeah, I may be hurt, but I'll push past it"

The man grunted and grabbed a long log and looked at the three. He looked like a huge orc with dark red skin and large tusks. He swung at them with the log, but Selene used her ability to throw it upwards and at him, but the man used the momentum to bring it down with a large BOOM! they all went flying as the man roared and went on a rampage with the log as it broke sending pieces everywhere.

Kian grabbed them both and hid in a shop. "We need a plan"

"I can't think of one" Selene said gripping her hair.

Kazuya gripped him arm "That spell, where did you learn it" he looked at Kian

"I… I don't know, I can't remember."

"Blades of the sky… sky? Maybe, no… Do any of you know what a divine spell is?" Kazuya asked

"Yeah, it's spells made by the gods. It's said the strongest of them all are those made by the god of Magic." Selene said

"I think Blades of the sky is one, more than likely a spell of the goddess of the sky, Alya"

"So… wait, Kian, I think you have to say her name in order to activate it." Selene jumped up

"But that will take some time. We'll need to cover for him"

Selene and Kazuya nodded and Kian stood. They ran out as the man turned and saw them ready to destroy them. Kian took a deep breath and thought of how to say the spell.

"Alya, Goddess of the Sky, give me your magic!"

The world once again stopped, but this time, the sky seemed to fall to the ground, making everything cloudy. He looked and saw the same ethereal woman, but this time, she looked more real.

"I was wondering when you'd figure out the spell"

"You mean you didn't tell me on purpose?!"

"Correct, I know it seems rude, but I only wanted some fun."

"Fun?"

"Indeed" she walked around him.

"How do I use the spell?"

"Right to the point I see. Well you'll have to give me something in return."

"What? You know what, I'll give you anything!"

"Anything? You should be careful for what you ask, after all, us gods are unpredictable especially when it comes to… anything."

"What do you want?"

"Just 1 thing" She raised her finger and smirked. "Some time after this, you'll come to see me again."

"What?"

"You don't know? There are people just waiting to see you, Kian."

"You're one of them right, that's why you gave me the spell?"

"Mhm and I'm so glad to be the first to see you!"

"Okay, I'll accept your request"

"Then I shall unlock the spell. I'll see you soon, Kian"

The clouds slowly started to dissipate and the time resumed. Kian held out his hand at the man and took a deep breath.

"BLADES OF THE SKY!"

Kian then saw a bunch of swords in the sky and also Alya herself with her own. She raised her sword into the clouds and brought it down with a quick slash and the swords flew into the man.

The man dropped to the ground dead. They had won.

Kazuya and Selene looked at Kian and he smiled and stepped forward only for his vision to blur as he heard whispers, way too many to understand though. When his vision did come back, he found himself in a plain with a large temple looking structure ahead of him. He stood and looked around.

"Hello?"

He then heard a loud booming voice, then a scream.

"HE'S HERE!" A woman in a beautiful white dress came out of thin air and ran to him with her hand out. When she got close, dark hands came from the ground and grabbed her as a woman rose from the ground. She wore a black long dress, her skin dark too.

"Hello, child"

Then a large sword hit them both, knocking them away. A man with heavy armor and a bunch of weapons walked through.

"HE IS MINE!" His voice booming.

Then more and more came causing more and more chaos. Then a snap came. Everyone stopped and turned and a man in fine clothing walked through, he seemed elegant compared to everyone else.

"Do we act like animals in front of our guest? We are Immortals after all, let's act like it." He then walked up to Kian. "Sorry about that Kian, well how about an introduction?" He smirked and stood and threw his hands out. "We… are the gods"
