Chapter 36: Chapter- 35 Who are you Ø
{I truly wonder, how much blood spills from a beast} Edward mused
Four months passed since those fateful words were uttered

Slaughter.
Brandishing both Azphel and Durandural, Edward was able to overpower most beasts.
Although Edward's body did not allow for the absorption of foreign energy, he still possessed Azphel, which acted as a catalyst for utilizing spirit energy by killing and harnessing Spirits within the sword.
Azphel was used to destroy spirits and beasts absorbing their essence.
Durandural channeled his uncontrollable raw emotional energy to fuel the sword.
These combined with his natural attitude to adapt to any situation increased his powers significantly.
Edward's physique stood in stark contrast to his once majestic and regal appearance.
His appearance was revolting.
The pungent odor of fancies, blood & flesh lingered.
His ash-gray hair, once neatly kept, had now transformed into a wild cascade that tumbled to his shoulders. It was streaked with dark, drying blood and smeared with dirt, the strands clumping together untamed and ragged. He donned a brilliant variation of multi-colored eyes, a bright Emerald green and crimson Red, they held little rationality.
His face was marked by a prominent scar that sliced across his cheekbone from his battles with the residents of the mountain. His smile was wide and unsettling.
Exhaustion did not look evident for the youth.
This look should not belong to a member of the Lionhear clan.
Grasping both swords, Edward caused destruction wherever he went.
He was extremely lucky the Earth Spirit king was absent from his territory during this time.
"Die"
"KeKeKe"
"It's not fun if you die so fast"
"LAST LONGER!!!"
"WHY DID YOU DIE"
He always yelled and yelled in gusto.
A monster he became. All because he used his skill 'Trade of Place'. This ability granted him the ability to draw out his true power, requiring no mana for activation. However, this incredible skill was a double-edged sword. It forcibly unlocked forty percent of the memories of his external despair.
What was once calm and passively eroded became inundated with a flood of painful memories, each more haunting than the last. The tranquility of his thoughts shattered under the weight of these recollections, revealing the profound depths of his eternal despair. Each image and sensation was a vivid reminder of a past he desperately wished to forget, leaving him to confront the harsh reality of his existence, a monster.
Every time he tortured or killed, the accustomed feelings of pleasure were now stained with an affluence of guilt.
This guilt did not stem from himself, but rather from distant proclamations of a dimmed voice within his head, invoking these revolting feelings that blocked the pleasure of his Sadism.
('was that necessary)
('Do you truly find pleasure in this')
{"Of course, I do what else is there"} replied Edward
(You're worthless)
(just die)
(No one is ever going to love you!)
{"And so, what would I care"}
(you do)
{"Shut up"}
(you're pathetic and weak)
{Shut up!!}
(what it it you fear)
{...}
This cycle of venting persisted until his capsuled rage erupted.
"S-SHUT UP, SHUT UP SHUT UP, SHUT THE FUCK UP, SHUT THE FUCK UP, SHUT THE FUCK UP>>..."
Edward lost consciousness for an unknown reason.

[Reincarnation number ????]
The enchanting melody of music dances softly in the background, weaving through the evening's elegance.
Tables adorned in pristine white stretch out like a canvas, each one surrounded by guests draped in formal attire, their radiant smiles reflecting the joy of the night.
Above, the starry sky sparkles vibrantly, a breathtaking tapestry of countless stars, with the crisp air of the twilight.
As I stood there, captivated by the breathtaking view, a delicate, melodious voice broke through my reverie, drawing my attention away.
Turning my head, I was met with the sight of a woman who stood 180 cm tall. Her long, silver hair cascaded down her back like a luminous waterfall, catching the light with every subtle movement. When she looked at me, her striking crimson-red eyes had a soft gaze while looking towards me.
Her petite figure boasted graceful curves, with gently defined hips and a modest chest that were beautifully highlighted by the flowing white dress she wore. The fabric swayed delicately around her, adding an air of elegance to her already captivating presence.
"Dance with me," whispered Luna, my lovely wife
{what is this.., why can't I control my body, where am I?!} thought Edward in a frenzied state
{My body's moving without my command!}
The two started to dance in rhythm to the melody played in the background. The layers of skirts fly. Feet tap and shuffle. And I grasp my wife as the others flow in sync throughout the area. Locking eyes on her ruby ones, I smile. We grew together and now we are grown, in this life the trials of my past dimmed while near her. In her eyes, I see my heart. In her breath, I hear my soul. She is my land. She is my kin. My love.
{these aren't my thoughts} Edward thought baffled
Abruptly she pulls me away from the wedding while giggling. We wend our way through the crowd to be alone. Yet she does not stop when we are free.
Guided me across the Stoney pathway surrounded by trees and nature continuing the venture for several more seconds I ask.
"Where are we going exactly?"
"If you remember, I have gifts for you. And if you apologize for your own gift going flat, I'll smack you in the face." Luna exclaimed
Staring blankly towards my wife I noticed the gift I prepared was protruding from my trouser pocket.
Shaking my head in disappointment, I snatched it up and handed it to her. "My gift," I said
"I did intend to surprise you," I exclaimed
She giggles. "Well then. This thing you call a gift is now mine to keep, a bracelet"
Looking at the plain chrome bracelet she placed it on her wrist and smiled
"What do you think?" she asked playfully, a spark of excitement in her eyes.
"You look stunning, as always," he responded with a warm smile.
"No, I mean the bracelet," she clarified, gesturing towards her wrist.
"Oh, that," Edward replied, glancing down for a moment. "It really suits you, it adds a nice touch."
{Why the fuck am I saying such absurd things!?!}
Hearing the distant crowd of people singing in the distance Luna responded vexed.
"I'm not going to let them ruin this gift too"
Saying this Luna leans closer to me and pecks me on the cheek.
"Come on we're nearly there"
As she deviated from the stone path, she suddenly entered the forest, waving for me to follow.
I trailed her through the dense brush and deep into the dark woods, where she took my hand.
"What's that sound?" I asked.
"This is the clearing," she replied, leading me to the center of the forest. I let her pull me forward.
"Look at the lush green grass beneath us and the trees. Darrow, isn't it beautiful?" she said jubilantly.
I stared at her, feeling the urge to disagree but suppressing it instead, smiling as I responded, "If you say so."
Stars glowed softly and gracefully in the vast black sky, like lights dangling above our township.
{this… whats this longing I feel}
Luna looks as though she could join them. Her beautiful face aglow as she watches me, laughing. I fell to my knees witnessing her joy and sucked in the scent of grass. A strange smell that brought nostalgia.
As animals buzz near the brush, in the trees, I pull her down and kiss her.
The trees and their green leaves sway screenly from the gale that comes. I listen to the sounds, the smells,
the sight as my wife and I make love in a bed of grass beneath a roof of stars.
{So crude, to rub your privates within a forest clearing, do they have no sense of place?!}
After a while, we both lay exhausted from intercourse.
Staring at the sky, we admire its grace. As time passed, she snuggled against my arm, rubbing it gently with her moderately sized breasts. Her body was unclothed as well as my own with our privates covered by our tufted garments.

The once starry sky, which had been a tapestry of shimmering constellations and celestial wonders, transformed into a blank canvas.
Finally having dominion over my mortal coil I frantically checked to see if my body was in its past shape.
Sighing in relief I stopped and became baffled. I realized my madness was not as prevalent now as it had been for the last 4 months. It was as if my demented state had never existed.
As I surveyed the area around me, my confusion deepened until my gaze landed on the silhouette of a familiar woman.
She looked at me with the same expression as before, but instead of the warmth that had once fluttered my heart, there was now a feeling of sorrow. While her graceful features remained intact and her silver hair still glimmered in the light, something about her demeanor had shifted. She wore blue jeans, a white undershirt, and a red checkered flannel shirt, but the most striking change was in her face; it appeared empty and starved for something deeper.
{"Who are you?"} I asked cautiously.
She smiled at my question, her ruby eyes locking onto mine. Tears threatened to spill over—this was unusual. I had long ago buried my emotions. How could this be real? Why was I feeling this way? Especially when I watched this woman?
I had no recollection of ever having a lover so why...
Opening her mouth, she spoke in the same soft, girly voice I remembered. "Who knows... That is for you to remember. But shouldn't you say hi to your friend?" Her tone was forced and playful as if she was trying to conceal any sorrow from her expression.
{"What?"} I spoke befuddled
