Chapter 263: Chapter 261: The Very Dirty Utaha senpai
Due to their close proximity, Utaha's movement was more of a rub than a kick.
Feeling the soft brush of her black stocking against his leg, Sui glanced at Utaha and asked, "Is something wrong, Utaha-senpai?"
"Water," she replied, her gaze still fixed on the screen.
Sui sighed inwardly. He stood up, poured her a glass of water, and placed it on the table beside her.
Utaha parted her lips slightly, as if expecting to be fed.
Sui hesitated for a moment, then sighed again. 'Do I really have to feed her water too?' he thought, but complied, lifting the cup and bringing it to her lips.
Some water trickled down her chin, sliding along her pale neck and disappearing into her shirt.
Sui couldn't help but steal a glance.
"Enjoying the view, Sui?" Utaha's voice suddenly whispered near his ear, her breath warm and teasing.
"Uh… yeah," Sui admitted, nodding instinctively.
But inwardly, he was exasperated. 'I really can't handle this kind of shameless senpai,' he thought.
He had met bold girls before—like Tohru, who was carefree and direct, or Alice, whose flirtation only surfaced after their relationship deepened. But Utaha was different. Her teasing was constant, playful yet daring, and always filled with innuendo.
"Come to think of it, Utaha-senpai, when did you snap out of your 'novelist mode' today?" he asked.
"Oh, I was fully awake by the time you went to cook," Utaha replied casually.
"Why so early?" Sui was curious, as she usually stayed in her trance-like state longer.
Utaha finished typing the last sentence of her draft, stretched her arms, and then rested her head on Sui's shoulder. She looked a little weary. "Because I was struggling with a scene," she admitted.
Seeing her so nonchalantly using his shoulder as a pillow, Sui was once again left speechless. "What part are you stuck on?" he asked.
Utaha didn't answer immediately. Instead, she stood from her chair, gently tugging Sui up with her.
"Sui, you've helped Sawamura-san with her cosplay skits before, right?" she asked suddenly.
"Yes, I've done that," Sui replied. Though he hadn't known Eriri for long, their frequent visits to his house had made them close friends. Eriri often enlisted his help for her cosplay performances.
Thinking of Eriri's impressive acting, Sui couldn't help but imagine how fun life would be if he married someone like her. She could perfectly embody any character, which was certainly an appealing thought.
"Well, then I'd like you to help me with this scene," Utaha said, her cheeks tinged with a faint blush. She suddenly wrapped her arms around him, gazing up at him with a look so gentle it resembled that of a lover.
Sui: "..."
'Do authors really simulate scenes like this?' he thought to himself, unsure how to respond.
"The scene takes place right before the final battle. The heroine, unable to suppress her feelings any longer, decides to act on her desires," Utaha continued in a soft, teasing tone, nestled in Sui's arms, her face flushed.
"You're really going to write something like that? Your novel isn't supposed to be that kind of story, right?" Sui couldn't help but question.
Utaha's eyes gleamed mischievously. "The scene can be suggestive without being explicit. I just need to capture the emotions," she said. "I want you to help me experience what the heroine is feeling so I can write it better."
Sui sighed. Although he wanted to refuse, he couldn't bring himself to do so. "Alright," he finally agreed.
Despite knowing it was just a simulation, Utaha's face grew a little hot.
Unlike Eriri, who could easily switch between characters and reality, Utaha was different. With her, it was hard to tell where the acting ended and the teasing began.
"Let's start, then," Utaha said softly.
She rose onto her tiptoes, wrapping her arms around Sui's neck. Her soft hair brushed against his cheek, and the warmth of her body pressed against his. She nestled her chin on his shoulder, speaking in a voice barely above a whisper. "First, the heroine gently embraces the hero, and the hero is too stunned to move."
Sui could feel her breath on his ear, sending a shiver down his spine. Her hair smelled faintly of flowers—'what kind of shampoo does she use?' he wondered.
"Inspiration is slowly coming to me," Utaha murmured, her voice carrying a hint of madness.
Sui's heart tightened. 'Is she losing herself to the character?' he thought.
Utaha had a tendency to fully immerse herself when writing, to the point where her behavior would change dramatically. Sui called it "blackening" or being "possessed by the muse."
——
"Next, the protagonist gently strokes her hair," she instructed, her knee subtly brushing against him in a way that made Sui freeze.
"…"
Sui was at a loss for words. 'Isn't she afraid of going too far with this?' he wondered, feeling a bit overwhelmed by her increasingly bold behavior.
"Why aren't you following my script, Sui?" Utaha's tone suddenly shifted, cold and menacing, as if challenging him.
Quickly, Sui complied, running his hand through her hair. It was soft and smooth, and surprisingly pleasant to the touch.
"Good. Now for the next step," Utaha continued, pulling away slightly, a delicate blush coloring her cheeks. But her eyes gleamed with excitement, making Sui realize she had completely transformed.
She had become fully absorbed in her role.
"The protagonist gently embraces her, gazes at her with longing, and whispers to her…"
