The dragon's harem

Chapter 1047: A Follow-Up Attack

Feulone growled flying back to the world, "How did she get to the moon? Did she jump? How the hell could a massive thing…" He looked back and saw the tarrasque falling after him like a burning meteor.

When Feulone landed the tarrasque fell right on his head, shattering him alongside the entire continent. Not many abominations could survive a direct hit from a 3km wide meteor.

Feulone was one of the strongest in his class and managed to survive by putting all of his power into barriers. He has one last strand of hope, when the tarrasque hit the ground her body evaporated, exploding from all of the kinetic energy and turning into heat.

Feulone knew that the tarrasque wouldn't perish so his best bet now was to regenerate faster and get the hell out of here. But the moment he started healing he noticed the massive shadow towering over his poor soul.

The tarrasque had already fully regenerated before the blast could even finish exploding. "Damn it…I'll take my revenge."

All of the abominations are shards of Nyar's power, once they die they return to him the same way human souls return to heaven. He will then reincarnate them later when he gets enough energy to do so.

The tarrasque ate Feulone whole with a single chomp, and he was no more…

The tarrasque had a second terrifying power that no one knew about besides the overgod, a special property of her perfect stomach. Once she eats someone or something she can fully digest them, turn every bit of their existence into energy, and erase them out of the world.

Throughout history, the tarrasque came out multiple times, and each time she caused chaos, leveling kingdoms, and killing thousands and millions of people. To the world, she was an uncontrollable evil monster that could bring the end of the world. Cursed and hated by all mortals because no one could remember the villains she came out to kill, she had erased them all of history so the ignorant mortal only remembers her rampaging across the world. Standing alone in the fire, Tarra sat down looking at the chaos she caused, remembering how she left Nina. She started lamenting her endless life, but with each thought her flesh roared back, seeking life.

^Cursed by the whole world…if I die, no one would care…^

^I'm lonely…no one knows…there is no trace…of my life…^

{But…I must carry on…my life can't be worse.}

{All of this pain…constant starvation…my flesh holds to hope…one day we shall be full.}

^I was born from the void…not given hope.^

^A maddening thirst…all I see…is endless food.^

{As long as my blood still flows…there is still hope.}

{Just a bit more food is all I need…to quell this hunger, that's killing me.}

When the tarrasque was sent back to the mortal world she swam into the ground, singing deep to the planet's core where she went to sleep, on a painfully starving stomach.

Back in Alina's forest, Nina was standing alone atop the mountain now having consumed hundreds of monsters without getting full, in fact, she started to feel even hungrier. She looked at her shaking hands and clenched her fists, "I must move…" She couldn't think of a solution so her best choice was to get back to work and try to forget the hunger.

She jumped from the mountain, landing casually as if she hadn't just dropped from thousands of meters onto solid ground. Making her back to the guild in the city she calmly picked up her papers and went back to her post. The other receptionist realized she was in a bad mood, but none dared ask her.

A thin man landed in the city plaza. He wore a single black shirt and short bloodied pants, his fingers were as long as blades, and instead of eyes he had two mouths on his face and a single massive eyeball for a mouth.

^Lord Nyar said to look for the tarrasque and capture her off now…we're fighting the gods so why send me here now?^ All the abominations had already forgotten who Feulone was, even Nyar had forgotten him. But Nyar wasn't a fool, he had a total count of his energy that was always monitored, and once it changed permanently he could figure that the tarrasque had fought one of his kind.

Nyar didn't know what trick the tarrasque was using to erase his kind but at least he knew she must be exhausted after the fight. If she was sent by the overgood that meant she at least had to face a powerful abomination.

This was the best time to try to capture her and thus he took the chance, sending one of his strongest generals to find her.

When the general searched for the tarrasque, he instead ended up finding Nina because Tarra had gone into hiding inside the planet's core.

"Don't you look like trouble?" A deep voice came from behind the abomination general. He looked back slowly and saw this massive, almost seven-foot-tall muscular man with a thin beard, black hair, a tight shirt, and a sword on his waist, looking at him with a smile as he posed outside a tavern, his mustaches still dripping with beer.

"Petty mortal." The abomination lifted his finger, his nail expanded into a large ball of flesh, and was fired at a blinding speed toward Alcott's face.

CLANG! With a single upward swing Alcott deflected the flesh ball, the ground beneath his feet cracked from the impact and his sword smoked red, but surprisingly his stance remained solid.

The abomination looked at him with a surprised face. "You deflected that?"

All the people around ran away in fear, they all knew who Alcott was and if he was getting in a fight, his opponent probably wasn't someone they should stand near.

Alcott shook his face, looking at his sword, "Oh, nice…I was about to level up and you look like just enough exp."

CRACK! Alcott disappeared from the abomination's vision, he had jumped forward and closed the distance in the blink of an eye, swinging a lightning-fast slash toward the creature's exposed neck.

^He's fast!!^ The abomination dodged Alcott's swing and tried to fire another flesh bullet at him, but it ended up getting deflected with ease.

With the same motion after deflecting the bullet Alcott turned his sword, going with a stab at the abomination's one eye.

^No, he isn't just fast, he saw my attack once, and now he's finding multiple ways to deflect it.^ The abomination lowered his head and caught Alcott's stab inside one of his mouths.

The other mouth spoke, "Foolish mortal, do you know what you're facing?" He clenched his teeth and shattered Alcott's sword to pieces.

[Action Surge] [Adrenaline Rush]

Alcott's fist kissed the abomination's face, shoving the blade's hilt into this brain. Another fist hit the abomination in the chest, another in the guts, another on the shoulder, five on the face, another six in the chest, and a kick to the nuts that sent him flying into the air.

^What the fuck happened?^ He couldn't even grasp what happened, only feel the pain across his whole body and see Alcott floating above him, swinging another punch that sent him flying back to the ground, this time landing outside the city.

The abomination gasped, puking blood with shaking limbs, "The fuck…"

Alcott was walking toward him, cracking his bloodied knuckles. "This is the first time my knuckles hurt hitting something."

The abomination lifted his arms, charging several flesh bullets only for Alcott to punch him several times, sending him flying to the forest.

^He just lost his weapon…why does he seem stronger?^ He couldn't understand, he had never faced nor heard of such a man before.

"Don't get full of yourself, pitiful human!" The abomination shouted at the top of his lungs as he grew bigger and his body filled with spikes and chains. His main power was that of seals, the reason why he was sent to capture the tarrasque.

"Pitiful human? Oh! By any chance, are you here to kill humans, eradicate them possibly?" Alcott looked at him with a smile and the abomination growled.

"I'll massacre all of your kind, to the very last one!" He cursed, his one eye almost popping out of rage.

"Good…do you know who stands up for humans?" A golden sword fell from the sky and landed in front of Alcott, the moment the abomination saw the sword he knew he fucked up, he should've never mentioned killing all humans, he triggered that man's power.

Alcott picked up the sword, "I was once a hero with a mission to save humanity from the dragon's conflict. But now that a new enemy showed up it seems even we retried old guys can't rest."

"You're a hero of Chad?"

"I better be paid for overtime as I've got a wife to pamper, she doesn't like me spending that much time fooling outside the house." Alcott jumped at the abomination, swinging the sword with a thunderclap of divine magic.
