Chapter 1050: The Monster's Older Brother, Is A Bigger Monster.
"Arad, do you hear me?" Gojo stood in the falling snow, looking at the clouded sky above him with glowing eyes.
^I do…but I'm currently locked inside a strange dimension by a woman called Hati.^ Arad replied to him almost immediately, he was just walking into the sauna with Eris.
"That's for the best, things are a bit ugly out here. Just stay hidden for now and make sure to keep an eye on your wives, I'm sure she kept them with you." Gojo smiled, "Some abominations are looking for you. As long as they didn't find you it'll be fine, but the moment they find you…"
^They'll start looking for people I know to use as hostages against me. But now they don't want to waste them.^
"That's it. If they don't find you, they've got no reason to waste potential hostages. You sit tight, I'll go wipe them out quickly."
^They are far too powerful, I'm sure Hati has a plan to deal with them. You should stay out of it for now, it'll be safer for you like that.^
Gojo giggled, "I'm happy that you're worried about me, but you really don't have to."
^One of them is over a hundred times stronger than me, he might be millions of times stronger. Do you have a plan or are you just jumping in? Those aren't the kind of creatures we can just kill with ease.^
A large smile crossed Gojo's face, "Right now I'm about five times stronger than you, based on magic alone. But…"
^But what?^
"I've got this one spell…I'm sure even if I faced someone who is a billion times stronger than me, I could one-shot him, his relatives, and his friends faster than Betty on speed potions."
^I hope you know what you're doing. Don't lose.^
^Don't worry, I'll win.^

Gojo looked at Lucy who had gotten her divine magic ready, but it was clear on her pale face that this had drained the life out of her bones. Unlike Arad who had learned Vorvadoss's eldritch magic to jump outside the universe, Gojo didn't and normal teleportation magic can't get him out there.
The only option he has is to rely on Lucy. If the overgod had sent a single to call the gods into battle she must be able to sense that signal even if she was excluded. After finding the signal she has to use it to write the magic the other gods used to teleport outside the universe to fight.
"I can't do it here. Let's return to the shrine." Lucy took a deep breath and Gojo carried her. "You two can come with us." He flew away and the two abominations followed them.
When they landed in the shrine the nuns working there rushed toward them, "Your majesty, what's going on?"
"Prepare a festival, empower Lucy as much as you can." He looked at them and Lucy jumped down from his arms, "I'll start the rituals immediately. I'll be pushing myself far above my limits so don't blame me if I fail halfway."
"You can stop if you want." Gojo looked at her with a smile and she giggled.
"Remember the time we switched souls? Even if I had your powerful body I was as useless as I was before. But you on the other hand managed to push my body over its limit and achieved a level of power that was several times stronger than even my wildest dreams."
She stepped into the middle of the shrine and waved her hands, grabbed the threads of divine magic around her, and twisted them as if she were dancing.
^Even if this was far beyond my limits…I know that I can achieve it…^ As Lucy danced, her skin started bleeding and her eyes turned red with each step, the sheer pressure of circulating that much divine magic was crushing her body and soul. A demi-goddess like her shouldn't be playing with such a massive amount of power.
The spark of wild magic started flashing above her head, ringing and dinging like a thousand golden bells as embers of divine magic rained upward to the sky from the ground.
Gojo's robe flapped from the sheer divine magic rushing out of the ground. He stood there, bracing himself with a large smile on his face as a massive golden barrier emerged beneath the clouds and sparked with countless golden and black magic symbols.
The nuns watching looked at Lucy with a scared face, she was bleeding rivers, painting the divine magic circle on the ground with her feet as she danced across the open shrine garden.
^I'm the goddess of gluttony, biting more than I can chew is engraved in my nature.^ She stopped dancing, "Gojo! I've located them, using his wisp of divine magic to reach them."
CRACK! Gojo lifted his leg up like a sumo wrestler, dropping it to the ground with enough force to shake the mountain this shrine was set upon. With his hands he grabbed the air before him, spreading it apart as he opened a dimensional crack.
"I'll be back soon." With a single jump, he disappeared into the crack, not leaving a single hint of magic behind.
Lucy fell to the ground, coughing blood as her vision almost went black. The nuns rushed at her, "Your divinity!"
Lucy giggled, "So this is it?" She wiped the blood on her lips with her arm and stood, "Casting this array was painful, but now my body remembers the flow of the divine magic far too well."
"We'll carry you inside…" The nuns tried to help her but she refused, "I'll walk on my own…I can feel it, I'm just a hair strand away from breaking into true divinity." She could barely stand, but she took a step forward, "Obelisk…"
Obelisk appeared by her side, "Sister Lucy?"
"I'm going to recover inside and I want you to protect me." Lucy looked at the nuns, "Gather as many people as you can and get them to prey, double, no triple the offering from now on until I come out."
"Sister is about to ascend to godhood, Gojo would be proud." Obelisk looked at her with a passive face and Lucy giggled, "Gojo could defeat gods even as a mortal. Being a god is good, but not that amazing."
Obelisk helped Lucy inside as the nuns scrambled to gather everyone they could, this was an important time in their lives, kingdom, and history itself. This is the time their demi-goddess would ascend into divinity, a goddess is about to be born and they shall bear witness.
Outside the world, the war was going according to Cain's plan. They are pushing Nyar back alongside his abominations and this fight shouldn't last far longer. Can himself didn't want it to last any longer either, the more time they wasted the higher the chance an abomination would find Arad and ruin everything.
The moment an abomination finds Arad Nyar would swap places with them and it'll be the end. Cain has no way of preventing that besides hiding Arad, but with Arad's personality, he might be trying to break out now. As far as he knew, there weren't that many ways to convince Arad to stay still, which was the only annoying thing about him.
Nyar flew back and waved his hand, "How about this?" He snatched a few tens of Amaterasu's flying suns and flung them toward Cain.
"Do you think this can harm me?" Cain conjured a massive crystal barrier to block the sun, but he immediately realized the large smile on Nyar's face.
Nyar redirected the suns toward a portal, "Let's see if the mortal world can survive being hit by them." He planned to force Arad out now by destroying the whole mortal world he was in. The universe had many worlds inside it so destroying one won't leave any less space for his abominations to concur.
"I can't erase them!" Amaterasu shouted, Nyar had done something to those suns and got them out of her control.
"I'll stop them!" Cain was about to fly and block them but Kayden caught him, "Don't expose your back! Do you want him to have the whole universe?"
Kayden was right, Nyar's goal is to kill Arad and capture Cain alive so he can keep the universe. Trying to stop those suns would only give Nyar what he wants.
"You want to kill my humans?" Chad, Cain's father rushed after the suns. "In your dreams, monster!"
But at that moment, all of the suns disappeared, leaving everyone baffled. "Where did they go?" Nyar gasped. He looked at Amaterasu but she two looked confused, they just, disappeared into the void.
"So you're the one behind this mess?" A voice came from above and when they all looked, those two blue eyes were glaring straight at Nyar with infinite rage boiling in them.
"Who are…" Nyar screamed and Gojo immediately pointed a finger at him.
[Yarn Ball] A one-thousand-kilometer-wide black hole flew from Gojo's finger and almost instantly reached Nyar.
