Chapter 1055: When The Purple Sun Dawns
Vampire's initial strength depends largely on the power of who turned them. While both Akasha and Eris were born vampires, which means they inherited that trait from their parents, Lucia and Zia were turned into vampires by another person.
Arad is in no way close in power to someone like Akame, the red-eyed goddess of undeath, Akasha's mother. That means that whatever start Akasha got from her mother, that's the best she'll ever have.
But that story is different for Eris, Zia, and Lucia. Now that Arad has both Akasha and Vlad's power, he probably could do something to help.
For vampires, there are two methods of getting power besides hunting people and drinking their blood. The easiest one is serving another stronger vampire and getting your curse re-applied by them, while the other one is dangerous, absorbing the blood of another vampire.
"AH!" Eris moaned, feeling Arad's long fangs sinking into her neck, his arms crushing her torso onto his. She could feel all of her blood flowing up to her throat, her heart slowing down, stinging in pain as her consciousness quickly faded.
Her pale skin slowly started turning grey as her body shriveled for a few seconds, only for her eyes to burst open, burning red. "AGRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" With a loud screech, everyone in the bath could feel as if a heavy boulder had fallen on their heads.
"What's this?!" Selina cried, hiding behind Matilda who looked at the sauna's door with a worried face. Everyone else in the room knew that Arad was a vampire and they could immediately recognize Eris's aura, except, something seemed off.
As Eris cried, her skin slowly returned to normal as Arad's blood flowed into her body through his fangs, filling veins and invading her bones, writing the marrow out and exchanging it with a far stronger one.
Most people think that the vampires' core is their blood, but that is wrong. The vampire's true power lies in the marrow of their bones, the place where their blood is born.
It was always there but almost no one sees it, humans also have teeth and fangs, so why do vampires grow long fangs? They should be able to bite and drink blood just fine without longer fangs. The reason for that is that a vampire's true power lies in their bones, that is why they grow long fangs instead of a straw tongue like mosquitoes or lice.
As Eris's flesh plumped back up and her skin regained its color, her claws grew longer, sparking with veins-like red magic. Akasha, Zia, and Lucia who were there could feel it, Eris had turned into a whole other vampire, and her blood power had reached a new height.
Eris's long and dark brown hair flashed in a crimson red aura, radiating magic as she moaned, her ruby eyes staring at the ceiling as her toes curled and her nails flashed with magic. They could see her chest puffing up with each breath, the veins all over her body pulsing with each heartbeat.
Eris opened her mouth wide, her fans being as long as knives as she wrapped her legs and arms around Arad's torso, piercing his back with her long claws.
"She's rampaging immediately?!" Unlike normal vampires would could take days before feeling their first blood thirst, now that Eris had turned into a new vampire, her thirst had immediately taken hold. Her hunger was now directed toward Arad, and he didn't look to be willing to resist as she sank her long fangs into his neck.
She started drinking and drinking, liters over liters and gallons over gallons, a flood of blood rushed out of Arad's veins into her throat. But no matter how much she drank, he didn't seem to run out, for he was a massive dragon and could regenerate his blood on top of that.
"Good…this is good." Arad hugged her and whispered, "Drink up your fill, and if you want extra I've still got more." He could feel it, she wasn't just fueling her vampire powers, but something else, her divine portfolio of murder was also seeking power.
"Wait…" Akasha gasped, sweat covering her whole body. "A vampire…the portfolio of murder…and a purple sun."
"When the mortals would spill their own blood. " Arad whispered to Eris, "When a vampire kills for blood. When they leave the corpses to rot, that's when the purple sun dawns, and it dawns with fire…"
Eris's body burst into purple plasma, almost setting the whole sauna ablaze if Arad didn't snuff it all out with his magic.
Eris pulled her teeth out of Arad's neck and took a deep breath, licking them as they shrunk back to normal fangs. She looked around, her head still hurting but she had never felt so full before.
"This…" She looked at her hands. "It seems that both your vampiric powers and divine portfolio got stronger."
"They didn't just get stronger… Even now, I can feel them all, thousands, no, millions of people dying, their blood spilled across the whole world." She mumbled, "Those dying in war, murdered at the dead of night in a random back alley, and those ambushed and killed on the road, eaten by monsters and those monsters killed by hunters."
"Her portfolio is rapidly growing, it won't take her long before she accends to a true goddess of murder." Akasha looked at her, "You better stay out of trouble and take a few weeks off to rest and focus on your own power. If it happened that you reached the threshold of ascending while in a fight, you're dead."
"I see…" Eris looked at her and then turned to Arad, giving him a deep kiss, "We'll finish the rest in bed later, for now. Let them have a chance." She slipped to sit beside him and looked at Zia, "You're next."
"I have a request…" She looked at Arad, "Can we do it in the church, for all of the other nuns to see. Right now when Eris evolved, my power had grown a bit as I seem to have absorbed some of her leaking blood magic. I know you won't be letting all the nuns drink your blood, but it'll be a great help if they got even a tiny bit from being close to a vampire evolving."
"I won't be doing anything in front of them." Akasha shook her head and Lucia was too worried to think. Zia knew that the other vampire nuns aren't as strong as her, of course nowhere near Eris or Akasha, even if they were to get a bit of power, to them that might even double their strength.
"Got it." Arad nodded and Zia thanked him.
"Then I'll go next." Akasha approached Arad with a smile, licking her lips.
Knock! Knock! "I'm coming in." Tina called as she opened the sauna door and walked in.
Akasha glared at her, "We're having a moment here."
Tina ignored her and approached Arad, "Is everything all right? We've heard Eris scream and it was followed by a huge wave of blood magic and bloodlust based on what the others felt."
"I'm fine." Eris approached her with a smile, "I just had him reapply my vampirism." She explained what had happened and Tina nodded, "Got it."
"Say…I wasn't here for a long time, why is she ignoring me?" Akasha looked at Arad.
"Can you reply to her?" Arad asked Tina and she sighed, "From the moment I saw you before, you never said anything of value and always had this look on your face that you were up to something bad." She approached her, "I still can't trust you, and so I'll not even waste a second speaking to you when I have to confirm if Lady Eris is safe or not."
"Aren't you a bit rude? Assuming things on your own?" Akasha looked at her with a large smile and Eris spoke from the back.
"I advice against angering her. She is the one mediating between us wives." Eris approached Tina, "Thank you for always looking out for us."
"It's my job." Tina's eyes shifted to Arad, "And you, if what she said is true, how much blood did you lose?"
"A lot, but I've already regenerated it." Arad replied and she looked at him with a worried face, "If you said a lot that's something scary, are you sure you're fine?"
"Of course." Arad nodded with a smile and Tina stared at him for a second.
"It ends here…Akasha, Lucia, sorry for getting in, but get back to the hot tub. Arad should rest, anymore and he might hurt himself."
Akasha gasped and growled, "What? But he said he is fine? It was just about to be my turn."
"I know Arad better than you do. He'll push himself to the limit to accommodate you all and I'll not allow that." She pointed at the door, "He also have training tomorrow so even exhaustion is out of the question."
Akasha looked at Arad, "You said you're fine! Are you going to allow her to twist your words just like that?"
Eris tapped her shoulder, "Give up, even if he was at death's door Arad would still stay he is okay and push forward. Tina is the one keeping him and us in check so we don't go overboard and hurt ourselves."
"You'll get to drink my blood, but not today." Arad stood and cracked his neck. Eris did indeed drink a lot of his blood, so Akasha who was far more powerful than her as a vampire would have sucked several times more…even he isn't sure he'll survive that without taking major damage to his blood magic.
As the girls walked out of the sauna with Akasha growling, Tina approached Arad and bowed to him, "Please forgive me for butting in, but it's what I think is for the best…" She opened her eyes and found herself staring directly at his erect flesh (°w°). Having Eris on his hips, he was probably wanting to do it right here and now…

"You'll have plenty of time when we get out." She stood back up and looked at him, "Now, get it smaller before you get out. The other girls are outside."
"With size magic…"
"No, just pull the blood out of it. You're a vampire, you can do that, right?"
