The Extra’s Survival: Logging into the Game Master System!

Chapter 173: [Charm doesn’t works on the Game Master!]

"Pitiful, isn't it?"

Tracing the two Vampires, my [Foresight], allowed me to see how they all killed everyone within the town and took Elliot and Kite with them. As for the bare resistance that the humans put up, even though it was worth a few cents, it wasn't enough to even leave a scratch on those two Half-Ghoul Half Vampires.

I wasn't really someone who would bother much about what happens to the people here. But then again, I wouldn't like my fun to be interrupted either. And while I would love to have more fun for another day or so, it seems like the plans are going to be brought a few more days ahead now.

Truly. Pitiful.

"Hmmm? There is a human who wasn't charmed? Velma," Nadia spoke as her eyes observed me. Trying to analyze me, and perhaps seemingly reaching the conclusion that I wasn't really worth much attention.

"Might have missed him or something," Velma spoke with little concern as she then observed me, her eyes focusing a bit more than before. And slowly she spoke,

"Come here."

Even though I wanted to play along and see their expression once I fake being in control, right now, I wasn't really in the mood to do it. Hence, I just stood there pondering how I should move forward from here. Should I just kill those Half-Vampires? Or should I subdue them since they are going to be of essence in the future. Hmmm… what should we do here?

"COME HERE!"

As I was thinking, I saw Velma glaring at me with her eyes turning deep blood red. Her charm magic was probably increasing way beyond, and I somehow was pretty much normal right now.

'I don't have any skills to negate charm except for my own dense energy. Since she is in peak S-Grade, I should probably feel just a little bit of a tinge of losing control but looking at it right now.'

I saw that there was not even a single speck of losing control. Not even a minute loss of control here.

'Could it be because of the [Game Master System]?' I questioned as I reached the most probable conclusion. Looking at it from another point of view, it would be rather odd if a Game Master was charmed by mere skills of the Game.

"I SAID COME HERE!" Velma shouted at the top of her lungs, while I found the threads of blood concentrating around me. Their strength was enough to topple buildings, but if I were to concentrate enough energy along with my [Kinetic Mastery!], I should be able to cross them without getting in touch with a single one of them.

"YOU-"

"Can you not shout so much? It's hurting my ears," I spoke as I began walking towards Velma. Crossing the threads, as they passed through my body, without leaving a single scratch on it, I simply ignored Nadia, the one who was controlling them.

Even though I wasn't paying attention to her, I could easily 'see' the shocked expression she was making. She was trying more hard to slice me but as the threads were moving in and out of me, without being able to slash me, her expression turned tense even more.

-Whoosh!

And finally giving up trying to charm me, Velma commanded Sebastian to attack me.

"[Wake up already!]"

I imbued energy into my voice as I continued walking. It kind of took about 5 percent of my total energy but it shouldn't be that difficult to regain it given my high energy recharge.

And hearing my voice, not only Sebastian but everyone else around here woke up from their stupor. Their eyes widened as they all looked confused before their gazes reached the two Vampires.

This time, a different emotion from the previous one was embedded on their face. One that made half of them lose their energy to walk, and the other half to piss their pants and fall on their knees.

"Who… are you? I have never heard of a human like you," Nadia asked. Her eyes were more analytical than before, seemingly trying to understand the situation.

She was rather smart not gonna lie.

"You bastar-" as for Velma, she was about to charge at me before the same threads of blood restricted her movements, preventing her from reaching me. Velma looked at Navia with a betrayed expression before Nadia asked,

"Are you the one who killed that Elder Vampire?"

Ooh! She was smarter than I thought. Guess this would make things easier then.

"The name is Crowley. As for who I am… it's a bit complicated to explain? Let's just say that I am a traveler from a different world. And yeah, I did kill that Elder Vampire or whatever…" I spoke with a calm look on my face, as I reached Elliot, who could barely hold herself together.

And then as I put my hands on her head, I poured about 20% of my energy into her, permanently increasing her mental stability. Honestly it was just me giving her a [B-Grade skill] but without a System, she won't be able to see it right now. Perhaps later when the world ends?

"Huh?"

Calming down, Elliot looked around her, she saw the oh-so-powerful Vampires in front of her, and with a confused expression she observed them, wondering why she was so afraid of her in the first place.

"W-why did you kill the Elder Vampire?" Nadia, who observed the entire thing, was somehow still keeping herself calm. As for Velma.

"What?! How did you undo my charm?!! Who are you bastard-mmph!"

She showed more or less a normal expression, until Navia shut her up with her threads. Nadia was really scoring ton of good points in my book right now. A smile formed on my face as I decided to truthfully answer Navia's question,

"He aimed at my life. He had it coming."

A silence covered for a few seconds as I spoke those words. With Nadia not speaking anything, and Velma unable to speak, things were rather at a stalemate. For them at least…

"So. What business do you both have here," I asked, not because I didn't know, but mostly as a warning to them. To be careful of the next words they will speak. For their life depended on them.
