The Extra’s Survival: Logging into the Game Master System!

Chapter 177: [Navia’s Wish!]

"What I wanted was for you to meet my Lord. I… will be honest. I don't know whether you are from another world or not. I have no idea if anything you said was true at all. In fact, the only thing noticeable about you right now is that you are abnormal and pretty strong."

"But even that is enough. If you can provide my Lord with some comfort. Something to be excited about, something to live for, it will be far far more pleasant for me than any wishes you can fulfill. And, if possible, please fight against him. If you can last more than a minute, it would already be thrilling for our lord enough to be happy about it for a few years."

Navia spoke her wishes. Though mostly it was that Vampire Lord's wishes to be precise, but well, at the very least it wasn't something impossible.

'Or to be correct, even if I were to not do anything, je would become a part of the tutorial and then play the game with the rest of the players. Should be enough of an excitement for him one way or another,' I pondered over it before looking at the expectant expression of Navia.

"Sure. That much is easy… but I cannot go anywhere for the next few days so-" as I was speaking, Navia's expression brightened. It seemed as if a light was shining out of her eyes which made me sigh a little.

"It's all right. I will find my Lord and then bring him to you by tomorrow morning or earlier!"

She spoke excitedly as if her life long wish was going to be fulfilled. Hastened, as if I would take my words back if she were even a few seconds late.

"Go," I gave her my permission, to which she excitedly nodded before clicking her fingers and then vanishing from my sight in an instant.

"Fighting against the Vampire King, huh?" I mumbled under low breath, while looking at my own stats for a few seconds. My skills were enough to make me close to a peak SS-Rank and with the [Game Master System!] I should be able to fight against SSS-Grade at max power.

But honestly… that was something that was yet to be tested.

'It's a good chance to test my abilities without using the [Game Master System],' I pondered for a few seconds as I planned to fight this Vampire King. The more I thought about it, the more of a nice opportunity it seemed.

According to the system, the Vampire King was a peak-SS grade touching the boundaries of SSS-Grade. He had all sorts of abilities and powers and was pretty much an immortal. A bit bored, so he might be lacking skills, but then again, he was a genius who has learnt through the ages so he could be really skilled too.

'A perfect opportunity to test my skills!' A smile formed on my face as I, too, became a bit excited for the upcoming battle.

"Brother?"

A child-like voice came from behind, as I saw Amber standing there with a fear filled expression. She was out of her daze, and most of that charm magic was gone, but the result of that was a fear filled anxiety that was hard to shake off.

"It's all right," I smiled as I reached closer to Amber and patted her head. I used a bit of [The One!] and healed her mental conditions, bringing her complexion back to normal. And as the calm expression returned, so did her cheerfulness as she asked,

"Who were they, brother? They seemed really dangerous!"

"Did they? I found them kind of cute though," I smiled as I answered Amber before looking at Kite and Elliot, observing me with mixed emotions.

They both have probably heard everything that Navia said, and given that it wasn't anything pleasant, I suppose their mind must be in a mess. Especially Kite, who couldn't do anything in front of the Half-Vampires. Given she was powerless here, it was evident that she would be hopeless in front of that Vampire King too.

"Elliot. I will help you out," I said, trying to ease her worries.

"Why?" She asked, getting even more confused. Her eyes tried to find the reason behind this kindness that I was showering on her. And as great as I might seem to her, my reasons were rather simple,

"Because I am bored."

Yup. I know I am still a human and I like to show kindness for the sake of being kind here and there, but that involves mostly for the people I have known for a long time. For strangers, if I were to be kind, then there are only two reasons, one that I pity them, the other is that I am using them.

Though for now, it's neither pity nor any hidden agenda behind my actions. I am simply bored, so I am doing whatever I feel like doing. Nothing more nothing less.

"?!"

Elliot was confused. A troubled expression formed on her face as she tried to find the meaning behind my words but as she failed to do so, she got even more confused than before.

"Don't try too hard. There isn't any meaning behind my actions. I am just a traveler trying to enjoy my vacation. We all do whatever we like in our vacations, right? It's just the same," I smiled as I tried to explain but looking at her expression it doesn't seem like she was understanding what I tried to convey.

"Yes. I understand," she spoke, probably reaching a conclusion on her own. She probably probably misunderstood me, but I guess, it's not a bad thing since there is no point in explaining my actions here.

Turning to Kite, who seemed rather exhausted and distraught, I pondered for a few seconds. Even though her potential isn't as great as Elliot, she still has many secrets of her own, many that she herself doesn't even know.

So, while she may not be my most favourite candidate for the contract, I guess I can make a deal with her with respect to some things…

"Hey Kid. Do you want to get more powerful?"
