8PM ~~

There was still one customer left and Ava just attended to her.

The lady started eating and Ava inhaled and exhaled.

"I'll be going now, Miss Merlin" Chloe said and Merlin nodded.

"Stay safe" She said and Chloe nodded.

"Bye Ava and bye Jason" Chloe said.

"Byee" Ava said with a smile and Jason just nodded.

The lady finished eating and Ava took her plate going to do the dishes.

Jason took the money from her and handed it to Merlin. The lady left and Jason began cleaning the place up. He finished after two minutes and he went into the kitchen.

"Urm Ava" He called and she dropped the plate in the plate rack before facing him.

"Yeah?"

"You and Lucian, are you both married because of love or because of an agreement?" He asked and she frowned.

"Why are you asking?"

"I just wanted to know" He said.

"It's because we love each other. That's why" She said and he smiled sadly.

"You sure?"

"Yes. Stop the questions and let's head home" She said and started walking but he held her arm.

"What is it?" She asked, staring at his hold on her arm.

"You're pretty" He muttered and she smiled.

"I'm aware" She muttered and gently pulled out of his grip. She untied her apron and dropped it before leaving.

He dropped his own apron before going after her. They all left the restaurant and Merlin closed the shop.

"Good night" She said to them and they nodded.

"Will you wait for Lucian tonight?"

"Yup. Bye" She said and he rolled his eyes before speeding off.

RINA'S MANSION ~~ GARBERVILLE

Jason walked into the mansion and saw Rina drinking a glass of blood in the kitchen.

He walked to the refrigerator and brought out a bottle of blood gulping down the whole content before thrashing it.

"I agree" He said and she looked at him.

"You agree to what exactly?!" She asked, feigning ignorance.

"Let's work together. I want Ava" He said and she smirked.

"Finally your senses came back" She said and he scoffed.

"Do you have a plan?" He asked.

"Yes"

"Tell me" He said and she smiled before explaining it to him.

He smiled.

"Turns out you are smart" He said and sped upstairs.

"Hey!!" She yelled speeding after him.

Ava felt a presence immediately and she blinked before starting to walk away.

She still felt a presence behind her and then she sighted two people coming from her front. She bit her lips before increasing her pace.

The ones at the front ran to her and she did a backflip. The one behind her stabbed the other person at her front instead.

"Fuck!!" He groaned as he held his stomach.

Ava started running immediately. She increased her speed and then she felt an arrow coming. She ducked so it flew past her hitting a wall.

She looked back and saw some of them coming then she inhaled before facing forward only for a kick to meet with her jaw which sent her to the ground.

She groaned, tasting blood in her mouth. The wound in her mouth closed up and pain left immediately so she stood.

By now she was already surrounded by humans putting on masks.

"Can't y'all just leave me alone?" She asked, looking around.

"You killed our leader's father. We're going to bring you to him. Doesn't that sound nice?" One of them asked and she scoffed.

"I don't want to hurt y'all so just....."

"You can't hurt us. We're the one who'd hurt you" A lady spoke and she frowned.

'She heard that voice somewhere...but where?' She thought.

They all attacked at once and she dodged their attacks. She gave them minor punches and kicks.

'What do you think you're doing?!!' Her subconscious yelled.

'I don't want to kill them. One punch from me will literally end one of them. It wouldn't be nice, yunno' She muttered in her head and her subconscious scoffed.

She kicked one backwards and then a knife penetrated her stomach.

She frowned holding the hand of the one who stabbed her. The lady in front of her smirked.

Another stabbed her from behind and her eyes widened.

She pushed the one in front of her and used the back of her head to hit the person behind her. The lady staggered and she pulled the knife out of her tummy.

"Arghhh!!!" A loud cry escaped her lips as she tried to remove the one on her back.

She removed it successfully and threw it away.

The lady who stabbed her first came to her, giving her a punch and she staggered.

She stared into the eyes of the lady in front of her. She frowned deeply and gave her a kick to the stomach.

The aconitine began doing its work and tears forced its way to her eyes. The pain became unbearable and she held her stomach falling on her knees.

More blood escaped her stomach.

The lady who stabbed her on her back squatted in front of her.

"Turns out your dearest husband can't do anything" She said and Ava frowned recognizing her as well.

"He will kill you" Ava muttered.

"I would like to watch him try" She said and Ava chuckled.

The lady stood and the other lady came with a bowl of aconitine.

Ava smirked knowing the pain that'd come with what they're holding. The lady poured it on her and she bit her lips as pain passed through her entire system.

She bit her lips so hard as she tried to endure the pain. Blood escaped her lips because of how hard she bit her lips.

'Let me out!!' her subconscious yelled.

'You'd kill them!' She mumbled weakly.

'Fvvking let me out!!! Ava!!!" Her mind yelled again and she breathed out.

"I will handle it myself" She muttered and closed her eyes.

She opened them and her eyes were pure golden. Her wolf ears came out and her claws grew. Longer than normal. Her fangs grew as well. Her wounds healed up and the humans stepped back in fear.

She stood staring viciously at the two girls in front of her.

They brought out their daggers, swinging it at her. She smirked and held one of their hands before twisting it.

"Arghhhh!!!" A painful groan left her lips.

The other girl stepped back in fear.

Ava threw the girl away and blood escaped her lips as she hit her head hard on the ground.

The rest began attacking and she slashed each one of them.

They were groaning on the ground and she growled, going to attack the girls.

Lucian came and pulled her back.

"You'd kill them" He said.

She broke out of his hold and punched him. His face went to the other side before looking back at her.

"You animal!!!" She screamed and tried punching him but he held her hand.

"Stop. You're losing control" He said calmly.

"Let's leave" One of them muttered and they all stood with difficulty limping away.

Lucian looked at two girls and his gaze darkened.

"Let go of me!!!" She yelled, struggling to break free from his grip.

"Ava. Calm down!!" He snapped but she kept struggling.

He pulled her closer by the waist and did the only thing that came to his mind.

He kissed her.

Her body stiffened.

Her eyes turned back to their normal color and her fangs went back the same as her claws.

He broke the kiss and she stared at him.

"Let's go" He said letting go of her waist.

He held her hand and sped them out of the place going back to the castle.

They went into the castle and Lucian looked at Ava who still looked shocked.

He sped them upstairs and she blinked.

"Ava" He called and she looked at him.

"I'm sorry for kissing you. That was the only way to stop you from going crazy" He said.

She stood in front of him and looked at his eyes. She smirked and pulled him by the collar of his shirt before capturing his lips.

He smiled and kissed her back slowly.

She let go of his collar and her arms went around his neck. His hands went to her waist as they kissed deeply.
