"The Fated Rival of the Moon"

Chapter 20: Chapter 20 – The Titan’s Wrath

The chamber was vast—far larger than any before. Towering pillars of stone reached toward a high, domed ceiling, the walls carved with runes that pulsed with an ominous golden light.

And at the center of it all, the Titan Golem loomed.

It was nothing like the spectral guardians they had fought earlier. This one stood over twenty meters tall, its body made of refined obsidian and ten-thousand-year-old cold iron. Arcane circuits of molten gold ran across its chest, radiating a terrifying energy. Its glowing crimson core sat embedded in the middle of its torso, pulsing with immense mana.

[Titan-class Guardian – Advanced Golem – Level 220]

Azrael's fingers twitched around Necrilith, his instincts screaming at him.

Elaris narrowed her eyes. "That thing is beyond anything we've fought so far."

Veyrin gulped, spinning his daggers. "Yeah, I was hoping for some cool treasure, not a damn metal god!"

Without warning, the golem moved.

The air shook as it took a single step forward. The ground cracked and trembled beneath its sheer weight. Then, in a terrifying blur of motion, its fist—larger than a carriage—came crashing down.

BOOM!

Azrael barely teleported out of the way using Shadow Step, reappearing on a broken pillar. Elaris dodged with unnatural speed, her form flickering like golden light. Veyrin somersaulted backward, panting.

"Are you kidding me?!" Veyrin shouted. "That thing's faster than it looks!"

The Titan Golem straightened, its core flashing dangerously. Then, it raised its hand—and dozens of arcane sigils formed in the air.

"Mana Cannon activation detected."

Azrael's eyes widened. "Move!"

A barrage of golden energy beams rained down, scorching everything in their path.

Elaris spun, her rapier glowing with blinding light as she sliced through the mana blasts, deflecting them mid-air. "Tch. Its magic attacks are absurdly powerful!"

Veyrin, already on the move, gritted his teeth. "I don't think we can dodge forever!"

Azrael exhaled sharply, feeling the weight of the battle pressing on him. His entire body burned—his muscles screaming from the sheer intensity of the fight.

They needed to end this.

"Unleash everything." His voice was cold, decisive. "No holding back."

Elaris smirked. "Finally."

Veyrin sighed. "Man, I knew this would happen."

But then, all three of them unleashed their full power.

---

Unleashing Their Full Strength

Elaris Velmira – The Moonlight Princess

Golden light exploded from Elaris as she activated her True Light Aura, her entire body glowing like a celestial being. Her red eyes burned with divine fire, and her rapier extended into a holy blade of pure energy.

The ground beneath her cracked and shattered as she launched herself forward, moving faster than the eye could track.

She slashed, sending a crescent wave of holy energy straight at the golem's core, causing an explosive impact that made it stagger backward.

---

Veyrin Malzev – Phantom of Shadows

Veyrin's aura darkened, his form flickering like a shadow. He vanished completely, blending into the battlefield like a ghost. His daggers became extensions of the void, and in an instant—

SLASH. SLASH. SLASH.

He reappeared behind the golem, his daggers coated in Abyssal Venom, slashing at the arcane circuits across its back.

The golem shuddered, golden sparks erupting from its body as its systems struggled to compensate for the damage.

---

Azrael Kaelthorne – Abyssal Crown Tyrant

Azrael activated Crimson Overdrive, flames roaring around him as his stats skyrocketed. His Strength, Agility, and Aura surged past their limits.

His black and crimson aura crackled violently around Necrilith, turning it into a weapon of pure destruction.

With a thunderous leap, he appeared above the Titan Golem—

And swung down with everything he had.

BOOM!

His sword clashed against the Titan's core, causing a shockwave that ripped through the chamber. The golem trembled, cracks spreading along its massive form.

---

The Titan's Final Stand

But the Titan Golem wasn't done.

Its core pulsed violently, and suddenly, the entire dungeon shook.

Golden runes covered its body, repairing the damage instantly.

"System Message: The Titan Guardian is activating [Final Mode]."

A deep rumbling sound echoed. Its body expanded, and its fists became blazing weapons of destruction.

"Damn it—!" Veyrin barely dodged as the golem swung, destroying half the chamber in a single attack.

"We can't survive another hit like that!" Elaris shouted.

Azrael, panting, reached into his inventory and threw high-level healing potions to both of them.

"Drink."

Veyrin downed his instantly, his wounds closing. "Bless you, bro."

Elaris, instead of drinking hers, held out her hand, summoning a radiant light. The potion's healing properties amplified tenfold, and she directed the energy into herself and Veyrin.

"Divine Restoration."

Both of them recovered instantly.

Azrael, however, remained injured. He clenched his sword tighter, his vision blurring from exhaustion.

But there was only one way to win this.

---

The Final Strike

"Hit the core together."

Elaris gathered all her power, her holy blade becoming a radiant star.

Veyrin vanished, appearing behind the core, ready to strike from the shadows.

Azrael activated Abyssal Tyrant Mode, his power erupting beyond his normal limits.

Then—

They struck.

Azrael's Necrilith, Elaris's Holy Blade, and Veyrin's Phantom Daggers all pierced the Titan Golem's core simultaneously.

BOOOOOM!

The Titan Golem collapsed, its core shattering into golden dust.

Silence filled the chamber.

Then—

Ding!

Veyrin collapsed onto his back. "I... I'm dead."

Elaris swayed, then fell unconscious.

Azrael stood alone, his breathing ragged.

"Tch. Weaklings."

Then—

The ground trembled again.

A hidden door opened.

And a new presence emerged.

A deep, eerie voice echoed through the chamber.

"Impressive. But now, you will face true despair."

From the shadows, a towering figure stepped forward, clad in midnight-black armor, its skeletal face grinning beneath a tattered hood.

Azrael's blood ran cold.

His comrades were unconscious.

And now, he had to fight alone.

"…Well, shit."
