The Genjutsu Devil of Konoha

Chapter 74: Plan for war(74)

Her brow furrowed. This was too easy. She jumped away just in time as the Seijuro on the floor exploded.

She knew it. Seijuro was very tricky. She didn't know how many tricks his ass had used in this fight, she just knew he used a lot of Genjutsu and tricks.

Looking at the boy—

His seal was open, meaning currently a lot of chakra was pumping through his veins.

Seijuro, looking at Tsunade, didn't seem too down that his surprise attack failed. She was quite a strong elite Jounin, and even if he himself was like Kage level, that was like... with the Bijuu chakra, which he wasn't using right now.

On a side note, his Bijuu Second Release gave him more of a boost than this. This boost, however, was better than the One-Tail Bijuu Cloak state he could take on.

Seijuro's eyes turned red, though that wasn't something Tsunade noticed. Seijuro wondered how strong he was right now, with the seal activated and a sliver of Tailed Beast chakra.

Like the smallest amount of Bijuu chakra possible. He hid the Bijuu chakra from Tsunade as he rushed toward her.

His fist cocked back.

She also rushed at him, and thus, the two of them would meet in the middle.

Seijuro would punch, she would block. She would throw a counterpunch, which he would weave under, before throwing a kick at her jaw.

Unfortunately for her, she miscalculated—she was taller than him, which meant her kick missed.

Thankfully.

Seijuro was happy it missed, meaning all of his teeth would stay intact for now—which, in his book, was a huge W.

He would jump away as she used her own momentum to attempt to crush his skull in.

Thankfully, he jumped away.

Looking up, Tsunade was already on him. She cocked her fist back once more. She punched him—she felt her hand making contact with his skin, the sound of something scrunching—before once more he was sent flying.

BOOM

"He's grown quite a bit," she muttered to herself. He could hang with her for quite some time.

"That I have," his voice would come from behind her. She felt the tip of his blade against her back.

Oh.

He sheathed his sword.

"Color me impressed. You've improved quite a lot in your Kenjutsu and Genjutsu," Tsunade would remark.

"Not enough to defeat you, unfortunately," he said dejectedly. Oh, so he knew.

The Tsunade in front of him poofed in a cloud of smoke. Yup, that was a clone.

"You're quite perceptive," she would say, looking at him.

"I learned from the best," he would say with a gentle smile.

"You really need to drop that gentle attitude of yours. You won't have much luck with the opposite sex—although some women are into that," Tsunade had a thoughtful look on her face.

"Sensei!"

"Oh, so you can be embarrassed," she teased, to which he gave her a blank expression.

"You and your damn poker face," she would sigh, then suddenly an idea entered her mind.

"No, Sensei. I will not help you gamble and win by using Genjutsu," he said calmly, looking at Tsunade.

"Hey, do you think so lowly of me that you think I, the great Tsunade, would ever gamble?" She glared at him.

"I refrain from answering that question," he said calmly, not willing to dig a grave for himself. After all, he was still quite young.

He needed to explore his life a bit more and not die here because he called out his sensei's issues.

Gambling being one of them.

"That's what I thought." Yup, he wouldn't even fight back.

Tsunade would have a thoughtful look.

"That jutsu you used... it seemed similar to the Great Fire Dragon Technique."

She looked at him, waiting for an answer.

"Sensei is correct as usual. I learned the Great Fire Dragon Technique a bit ago. However, I realized something: the chakra amount was way too much. So I decided to tweak it around a bit. I decided to use wind chakra in combination with it—using less chakra overall. By finding the sweet spot, I was able to create a move that is 150% as effective while draining less chakra—costing half the chakra amount. I call it the Fire Style: Great Flame Dragon Chariot Technique."

Oh wow, she really caught herself a genius. Who said she wasn't lucky?

Hahahaha.

With the seal open, Seijuro should be strong enough for a sneak attack dealing a lot of damage to the Sand.

Good.

But before sending him to his death, the best option was to test him. So, in the next scuffle with the Sand, he would be on the backseat for a bit.

And if he proved worthy, then sure—or she could just say "fuck it, we ball."

Not like anyone could stop the almighty Tsunade-sama and her great bounderful personality.

Seijuro didn't like that scheming look in her eyes.

"Wake up early tomorrow. You will be on the frontline," she would say, looking at her student.

"Yes, Sensei," he would say like the obedient student he was.

A/N Obendiant student.
