The Goddess Made A Mistake Again

Chapter 439 - The Whitedon Battle [ Part 1 ]

"What is happening here?!" I hear one of the Sub-Leaders scream in confusion.

Hearing their words makes me so delighted.

So for those of that don't understand what's happening… and that would be quite few in the crowd, I intentionally sprang their trap.

I knew that even if Orion captured or worse, killed Seman, he wouldn't stop. There were two other companies looking for him and he needed to prepare against them too.

So I told the Valkyries and Peter of my plan of setting the traps of the bases. Because that would give us time, no matter how small it may be, it would work.

Oh, and the element of surprise too!

Just like what was happening right now.

Seeing the confusing look on the Sub-Leaders, I was about to say a few words to them.

"Argh… Henry…" I hear a weak groan and look down to see Nance, "Take… Seman."

The guy himself was at bad shape but he was still looking out for his temporary lord. What a loyal guy.

I look aside him and see Seman under me. He was beaten and had a few internal injuries that wouldn't lengthen his life capacity. But he was still alive and that was good enough.

Looking around, I see other somewhat important people lying, all of them captains that I knew… and then I see Calvin.

That fucker… he just had to go and die huh.

At least Klein is alive, absolutely wrecked but alive.

I need to take this fools out of here first or they'll be used against us like every single side characters that get hit and become useless afterwards.

"Velma!" I informally call the Valkyrie, "Keep those vines intact, I need to move these guys away from the battlefield!"

Velma nods, "Alright!"

She wasn't the only one who heard my words.

The Sub-Leaders who are vying for these fool's heads, scream too, "Kill him, don't let him get away with the leverages!"

So these useless guys actually have some value… to the other side.

I see a huge number of bandits already surrounding me.

'Damn, I shouldn't have made that cool jump in the middle of thousands of bandits!'

"Henry, we can't get in." I heard Jacob's voice and see him fighting at the edge against bandits, Lucian with him too, "We need to clear a line through this fuckers!"

"I know."

Around me were too many bandits too count. I could take them on, no problem but these guys wouldn't last that long without treatment.

Then there was that Orion guy. He was still reeling in pain from my punch but I see him regenerating himself. It wouldn't take long before he was fully fixed and then it would be real trouble for me to save these fools.

"Sh- Should we attack him?" I hear one of the bandit's murmur.

"We have to… the bosses ordered us."

"It shouldn't be that much of a problem, right? He's just one man." A bandit made a foolish choice.

Another nods hearing him, "Yes, if we all attack him at once, we can certainly defeat him."

'These idiots, don't they know a villain when they see one. Well, they are following a villain who's a future good guy so I can't really blame them for not recognizing me.'

"Let's all attack him at once… 3… 2… 1…" As the countdown came to a close and they slowly inched to a run, I smile.

Fooled ya!

I clench my right fist as the blue sigmat ring glows brightly. Quickly I struck down the ground, not intending to destroy or break it.

It was to spread control of the ring beyond the so called leverages.

Time slowed down as the bandits stepped forward to ran. But they didn't think that suddenly a ring of flames would burst before them and spread around.

The flaming ring struck suddenly and without pause it burned every bandit closest to it. The flames were so hot that their bodies burned and charred in seconds.

Even those that were only struck a bit by them felt the heat spreading through their body and screamed.

"Arghhh!"

"HOT… IT'S TOO HOT!"

"Help me! It burns… It burns sooo muchhh!"

Many painful cries came from the bandits rolling on the ground. Those in the back that thought they were safe, now looked at their companions with fear and realized that they weren't safe either.

"Run, Run back now!"

"We're going to burn too if stay here!"

I smile seeing their fear resonating and spreading around.

"Henry!" I hear Jacob again, "A little help here would go a long way, you know!"

I click my tongue, "Jeez, can't do anything without my help."

I turn towards them and see a large number of bandits in the way to them. Then I look at my hands and up again.

'Can I go that far?' I think experimentally, 'Can't get results without trying.'

I aim my palm ahead and say, "Move"

"What? I can't hear ya?" Jacob said while ducking to avoid a cut to the neck.

"I said… MOVE!" My palms brighten into red flaming tomato and fire erupts out like flamethrowers.

The flames were yellowish red and large in sight. It went in a straight row as it devoured its preys with silence words. The bandits caught in sight of them either jumped out of the way or were too shocked as they died within moments.

Jacob and Lucian freeze for a moment as they see red roaring flames coming towards them in a straight line.

"Shit!" They both curse and run to opposite sides.

The bandits fighting them were confused before they turned around and see the flames coming straight for them.

"Argh, fuck!" They screamed before turning tails just like Jacob and Lucian.

The flames, a bit uncontrolled by the sheer capacity of it, devoured the lines and went ahead to burn the trees.

"Shit!" I murmur as I shut off the attack and look at my palms. It was completely red and got scaled because of the fiery attack.

The whole base filled with tens of thousands of bandits and soldiers were shocked and frozen as they clearly saw what happened.

Peter, who had his sword half through the neck of a Sub-Leader murmured, "What the hell was that!"

Jacob and Lucian were the same too. Both of them wondered what the result of the fire hitting them would be and gulped.

"Let's go!" Keira said, who suddenly appeared on a horse and ran through the heated ground. Jacob and Lucian didn't wait long and got up on a horse and tallied behind too.

"How are they?" Keira asked me as she came first.

"Not good." I say, handing Seman on her back, "But it could have been worse."

"Give lord Seman to me." Lucian said as he rode in.

"It's not time for 'Who gets who?' but to take them and get the fuck out of here!" I scream and throw a captain on him.

Quickly, they all settle the injured and turn to leave when they see bandits preparing for them.

"Don't worry about them." I say and slam my hand to the ground as pillars of fire stand up in rows on the road ahead, blocking the bandits. "Go now!"

"Thanks, Lord Henry." Keira said and ran ahead as Jacob and Lucian rode behind her, taking away the hostages.

"Damn! They are taking away the leverages!" A Sub-Leader said who suddenly got pierced by a sharp vine for his loss of focus.

I smile, 'With me here, nobody can do-'

Suddenly, a large figure of mashed meat passed by me and goes for the horses.
