The Great Rebellion : Transformation And Swordsmanship

Chapter 15: Leo Vs Goro

Leo launched himself toward Goro, his large sword pulled back for the strike

A giant punch landed from Goro like a falling boulder a thudding shockwave blew against Leo's face.

"Reminds me of Gromman's move... Do giants all fight the same?!"

"I've got to dodge it!" Leo said. He relaxed into the fall like a squirrel avoiding the arrow-straight punch.

Leo fell to the ground; his large sword fell with a heavy clang like a dropped coin. He stood up quickly, grabbing it again.

"COME ON, LEO! YOU CAN DO IT! NO—YOU _HAVE_ TO DO IT!" Alice shouted, arms forming a steady box-like stance as if bracing him from afar.

Leo steadied his stance and ran again toward Goro.

"Don't get cocky, boy," Goro said, resting his crusher on his shoulder with an overconfident smirk.

"And as I said earlier... NO ONE SHALL PASS!!!" Another thunderous shout came from Goro.

"What an annoying, noisy person," Leo muttered.

"I should do something before my ears blow up," he said, covering his ears.

Leo jumped again and locked onto Goro.

"You're an annoying brat!" Goro swung his giant crusher at Leo like a foot stomping an ant.

A massive clash echoed between them.

"GAHH!" Leo shouted, unable to bear the hit pressure crushing him like a giant foot, growing tougher and tougher.

"It's the end, boy," Goro said, a wide smile spreading across his face.

**CRACK!**

The giant crusher shattered into pieces, falling to the ground like stone rain.

Goro's expression shifted violently his smile vanished as he saw his crusher exploding before him.

Leo covered his head, deflecting falling shards of stone.

"My favorite crusher... How dare you...?" Goro dropped to his knees.

"It held up for years... crushing everything..." Goro stood, exhaling a long, ragged sigh.

For a moment, Leo felt like he was being dragged into Goro's gaping maw.

"AND A BRAT LIKE YOU DESTROYS IT FOR NO REASON AT ALL!"

a moment of silence passed, the sound of wind dying....

... "Not bad, boy." Goro cracked his knuckles, his expression unreadable as he stared at Leo.

"You've got a tough sword, though." He spat on the ground , enough to make a puddle.

Goro exhaled through pursed lips.

"What's going on? That same heavy feeling..." Leo gasped.

His body sank into the grass like roots taking hold.

"What's happening?" Emma cried, slammed to the ground as if gravity had tripled.

Alice stood frozen, frowning at the scene unfolding before her.

"I doubt you can keep up with me," Goro said.

Leo barely walked, each step slower than the last as he struggled forward.

Something approached from the sky , a small whirlwind touched down.

"What... the butterflies again?"

The crushing gravity lessened as Goro became distracted by the blue creatures.

"Are they coming to me again?! It's not the right time to guide me now!"

The butterflies swerved toward Goro wrapping his legs and tightening like steel cables.

"GHAAAAAH! GET AWAY FROM ME!!!!!" Goro lost balance, waving wildly to flick away the insects

but only for a moment.

His fall thundered, slamming his head against the metal gate with force. It shattered in half upon impact while a thick dust cloud exploded upward, filling the air.

What happened?" Emma coughed as dust choked the air, blinding and suffocating them.

"The gate's open.. that's what happened!" Alice raised her hands in triumph.

"LEO! YOU SLAYED THE GIANT! WELL DONE, HERO!!" Alice rushed to Leo, patting his back.

"Actually... it wasn't me," Leo whispered, staring at the fallen giant.

"W... What's that?" Leo stared at Goro; a hint of light flickered over him through the dust.

Leo rubbed his eyes , and saw it again.

But nothing remained when the dust faded from the air . Just a giant's sleeping body on the dusted grass.

"Let's enter, Leo! Emma!" Alice pointed her finger, acting like a leader.

"Yes, let's go," Emma said; a faint laugh escaped her at Alice's gesture.

"No one moves!" As the dust finally settled, they found themselves surrounded by dozens of guards. swords pointed at their throats.

"Any small movement could cost your lives."
