The Greece Antagonist

Chapter 122 Walking the Dog Master

"There's no way to let my guard down around you."

Luo En spoke with a forced smile, showing no intention of loosening the knots.

Even though he promised to lead Hecate out of the dungeon, he didn't skimp on the necessary precautions.

Moreover, his professional methods were trustworthy!

Luo En glanced at the black ropes sunken into the Goddess's pale skin and subconsciously licked his somewhat dry lips.

Hecate quickly caught Luo En's subtle action and spoke with a smile.

"Have you ever tried this mode? Would you like to experience it?"

"Forget it, I think I quite enjoy admiring it from a distance."

Luo En didn't take the bait, and, with a perfunctory smile, quickly changed the subject.

"Master, I have a question I'd like to ask you."

"Let's hear it, but I'm in a bad mood right now, so I don't guarantee a response."

Hecate hummed lazily, closed her eyes, and leaned back in her chair, displaying a dismissive demeanor.

Luo En was unconcerned and continued thoughtfully, "By the way, do you think the Heavenly Destiny Power gathered at War God Mountain now can surpass His Majesty the King of Gods of Olympus?"

"It's hard to say..." Hecate slowly opened her eyes, the look of indifference on her face vanished, replaced by deep contemplation, "Those three intervened at the last moment not as 'The Three Fates' but as 'the Moira sisters.' Do you understand what that means?"

Luo En pondered for a moment and gradually frowned. "Their actions are only for 'justice,' and 'fate' isn't entirely on our side?"

"Exactly." Hecate nodded, deep in thought, "Though Themis implanted a trace of warmth in the Three Fates, since the creation of the Divine Era, countless lives and tribes have died. Such sacrifices make it hard for the Three Fates to completely turn their stance around 180 degrees, abandon Zeus, the Divine King of Heavenly Destiny, and stand with us."

Luo En frowned deeply upon hearing this.

Hecate caught the expression on her disciple's face and shifted her tone to a more comforting one.

"Don't worry too much. The fact that you managed to persuade the Three Fates to intervene in the battle of the giants proves their attitude toward the Mortal World and humanity is changing. Our path of using 'chance' to leverage 'inevitability' is feasible. As long as you steadily continue to harness 'Heavenly Destiny,' one day War God Mountain will pull the Three Fates into its camp."

Luo En shook his head, his expression still tense. "That sounds good, but I don't think Zeus is going to give us much time to prepare."

While speaking, he looked toward Mount Olympus among the stars, his expression growing progressively gloomier.

His Majesty the King of Gods was not known for indecisiveness, always acting with swift decisiveness.

The moment his throne felt threatened, he would instantly desire to eliminate the threat, hardly willing to wait a moment longer.

In fact, right after a 300-year peace treaty was established, Zeus was already eagerly orchestrating his own maneuvers.

He not only weakened Heavenly Destiny Power's suppression of the Old Gods but also secretly extracted Typhon's Demon Army and the Titan Giant God from Tartarus Hell, overlooking their growth in hopes they would inflict mutual destruction upon themselves and War God Mountain, so he could clean up the aftermath.

However, under intense pressure, War God Mountain united with the New Gods, Divine Monsters, heroes, and humans, inextricably linking together, stubbornly surviving this massive battle of giants.

The eventual intervention of the Three Fates also forced Zeus to stay out of the fray, causing his plans to completely unravel.

Yet, this doesn't mean His Majesty the King of Gods would simply rest and allow War God Mountain time to slowly lay out their plans in the Mortal World, achieving the shift of faith and destiny.

Thus, he was likely to strike again before the 300 years were up.

Moreover, due to the defection of the gods of the Netherworld and the ambiguous stance of the Three Fates, War God Mountain had already gained leverage to confront Olympus.

Given these revealed cards, Zeus would only become more wary and cautious. If he was to act, his methods would only become more covert and ruthless.

One can only play the thief for so long, there's no lasting as a guard against thieves.

Therefore, Luo En didn't intend to sit around and wait; he too decided to prepare in advance, trying to regain the initiative and strike first if possible.

"If you're thinking of a direct confrontation, I'd advise you to abandon that thought," Hecate perceived Luo En's intent and advised leisurely, "The Three Fates still maintain neutrality, and the great power of destiny remains with Zeus. As long as the order of the Age of Greek Gods remains unchanged, you almost certainly cannot win."

Luo En's gaze flickered, and after a moment of contemplation, he slowly spoke, "What if we used a power from outside this Age of Gods?"

Hecate was stunned upon hearing this, then her purple eyes gradually narrowed.

A power from outside the Greek Era?

To confront Zeus within the bounds of Greek 'Heavenly Destiny' using a power not of this realm?

Interesting, this was an answer she had never considered before.

"Perhaps, it's feasible!" After some deep thought, Hecate responded, then looked playfully at her interesting disciple who always brought fresh ideas, "So, do you have a way to find power outside of 'Heavenly Destiny'?"

"I'm not that omnipotent, but an old friend of mine might have a way."

"Who?"

Luo En smiled without replying, lifted the rope, and then made a gesture inviting Hecate forward.
