The Greece Antagonist

Chapter 270: The God of PUA in Ancient Greece (4.5k)_2

——Every day, the same meetings are held, rallying cries shouted, and slogans chanted, using the group's collective consciousness to lure targets into blending in, making them obey the "teacher's" arrangements and teachings, willing to do anything, even if it means going bankrupt or losing their lives.

The believers produced by the latter two methods, although cohesive and devout, are dangerously destructive and easily spiral out of control.

As a seasoned PUA master, Luo En naturally disdained such scorched-earth tactics, so he mostly adopted more gentle strategies for proselytization.

But when this ahead-of-its-time idea was broached, Athena still hesitated.

"There are so many deities in the world, are you certain that the humans out there will obediently follow your plans, step by step?"

"That's why we need to provide comprehensive services."

Luo En shrugged and a subtle smile appeared as he began to speak freely.

"As I understand it, the infants of the common people often die young due to inadequate care and their own frailty after birth. My suggestion is that the Medicine God Asclepius teaches the priestesses medicine, letting them learn skills in midwifery and first aid, offering regular free check-ups for the pregnant women who come to worship."

When a child is born, or after its first month, send someone to baptize them, bestowing divine blessings to protect them from illness and disaster and ensure their healthy growth."

Luo En raised his cup filled with pomegranate wine, gently swirling it as a gesture.

Athena's eyes narrowed slightly, deep in thought.

"What about when they grow older?"

"The Temple can check their health, test their aptitude, and those with potential can be sent to the Academy of Athens for focused training."

"What if they succeed in their studies?

"Those with average results get streamed into various professions in society—physicians, warriors, craftsmen, mages... such skilled individuals are still much needed in Athens. For those with excellent results, choose those with a clean background and no complications, and directly recruit them into the Temple for further training to become Holy Warriors fighting for Goddess Athena."

Luo En tapped his finger on the table and winked with a smile.

"There are still plenty of vacancies in the Eighty-Eight Constellations and the Sanctuary..."

"Who will govern them?"

"How about Mr. Horse for the job? I suggest that in addition to his position as principal of the Academy of Athens, we give him another title."

"Which is?"

"How about [Pope]? In charge of the management and training of new Holy Warriors."

Luo En smiled as he spoke, delivering his rather mischievous answer.

Sadly, Athena across from him did not understand the amusement in this, and after pondering for a moment, she nodded in agreement and looked deeply at Luo En.

Granting divine grace to ordinary people was indeed risky.

But for those little ones, from birth to competency, Luo En had already made well-organized arrangements; if they are executed orderly, it could greatly enhance the strength of Athens and War God Mountain.

Only...

"Why don't you take the position of Pope?"

"The risk is too high; better not."

Luo En waved his hand, quickly declining.

From what he remembered, popes either turned to the dark side or were sadly backstabbed, or died in battle—few had a good end. Such a high-risk profession was better left to Mr. Horse.

Upon hearing the refusal, Athena didn't insist. She pushed aside the empty cup and leaned down to take out a stack of new documents from under the table, placing them on the surface to continue working.

Seeing the amount of paperwork that nearly overwhelmed Athena, Luo En was shocked.

"There's this much more?"

"It wasn't so bad at first, but Themis took to bed, and all the legal issues she handled have now fallen to me."

Athena replied irritably, tossing a legal document she had finished processing to the side.

Hearing the grudge in her words, Luo En sighed, asking in a serious tone.

"How is she doing now?"

"Not too well..." Athena shook her head, sounding somewhat helpless, "I've constructed a temple for her in the Sanctuary, and have sealed her within it. Hoping the minor worlds built by the Eighty-Eight Constellations, along with the faith from the City of Athens, would help stabilize her injuries and repair her divinity. But the minor world constructed by the Constellations is incomplete, and the faith in justice is too weak, so the effects are minimal."

Luo En rubbed his sore temples and muttered dejectedly, "If I knew this would be the outcome, I wouldn't have forced her to handle Hera's divorce lawsuit."

"What? Having regrets?"

"A little."

"Trading a fallen Titan Goddess for a thriving Queen of Olympus, any way you look at it, the gain outweighs the loss; it turns out you haven't lost out."

Athena fiddled with an iron pen in her hand and casually consoled him.

"The account can't be calculated like that." Luo En gave a wry look at the seemingly smirking face across from him and huffed displeasedly, "What I offered was a reliable partner, what I got is just a woman scorned wanting to use me for revenge against Zeus, even if she treats me well, I can't expect to lie in bed washed up and wait to be pampered every day, can I?"

"It looks like you're enjoying it though?"

"Do you think I wanted this? I was forced into it!"

Luo En looked utterly dejected, recounting the fortuitous encounter between him and Hera.

After hearing this remarkable tale, Athena covered her mouth with her hand, trying to hold back laughter but couldn't help but chuckle out loud.

"Ha ha, aren't you the best at deceiving people? How come you have met your match today?"

"Who knows what's going on in her head? The more I said it was impossible, the more excited she became, insisting on dragging me to Hestia to ask for a favor, unstoppable."

Luo En grew more speechless as he spoke, his face full of helplessness in the end.

"There you have it; having no other choice, I thought to use Themis's help and the Marriage Laws to drive Hera away..."

Athena waved her hand and spoke indifferently.
