Chapter 276: The Temptation of the Prison System (4.7_3)
Being praised and held in high esteem by the Goddess of Wisdom, Luo En was quite moved.
However, immediately, a mocking smile appeared on Athena's face as she began to speak mysteriously.
"After all, with a nature as cautious and crafty as yours, daring to seek out Zeus and walk right into his trap, risking the last piece of Divinity puzzle, you must have a foolproof strategy in place."
"..."
Luo En was left speechless, his face as dark as the bottom of a pot.
That's why he hated smart people, especially those who were smarter than him.
"Looks like I guessed right," Athena said with a smirk, not asking for confirmation but stating a fact.
Luo En looked at the Goddess of Wisdom, always one step ahead of him, and huffed.
"So what if you guessed right? You may guess the beginning, but you might not guess the end."
"Oh, what do you mean? Let's hear it."
Athena immediately took interest, curiously inquiring.
Luo En narrowed his eyes and began to speak mysteriously.
"What if, the person who wins in the end, is me?"
Athena paused briefly, then burst into a knowing chuckle.
"Is that so? I look forward to it."
Then, the Goddess of Wisdom in the prison pointed at Luo En's handcuffs and shackles, her face lit with a mocking smile, "But from the looks of it, you seem to need to try harder, think of a way to get out of here first."
When everything was arranged, Athena waved her hand and turned to leave the cell, "Alright, I have many things to do before the game starts, I won't keep you company any longer."
Watching as the Goddess of Wisdom pushed open the prison door, disappearing into the light, Luo En, shrouded in darkness, chuckled and shook his head.
In fact, there was something he had always left unsaid.
Just like the dual faces of a mirror, the fault one has, Athena had too.
The very things Athena had once chided him for, actually applied to Athena herself.
The same pride, the same self-righteousness, always thinking she would be the one who continues to win.
But, no one can win forever; it's just that she had never truly lost.
"Perhaps this time, you'll experience it..."
Just as Luo En murmured to himself, the familiar sound of the prison door sliding echoed once more.
"Hestia?"
Seeing the sneaky figure outside the iron bars, Luo En couldn't help but give a wry smile.
This Olympus prison, how could it be like a public restroom, anyone who is a deity could come and go as they please.
"Shh, keep it down!"
Hestia outside quickly made a shushing gesture, then awkwardly jimmied the repeatedly tampered cryptic lock under Luo En's interested gaze.
Soon, the successful Goddess of the Hearth, crouching down, tiptoed into the prison like a cute gopher.
Seeing this, Luo En couldn't help but suppress a chuckle.
Realizing her actions might seem undignified, a bothered Hestia blushed and glared at him as if he were a lesser deity.
"What are you laughing at? Close your eyes!"
"Why?"
"Just do it!"
Hestia, contrary to her usual mild demeanor, stood hands on hips, looking somewhat irate.
Intimidated by the authority of his chief god, Luo En obediently raised his hands and closed his eyes, quietly standing still.
A moment later, all was silent.
Unable to hold back, he asked, "How is it? Is it done..."
"...Mmm!" The clear articulation abruptly stopped, replaced by indistinct motion and swallowing.
Luo En opened his eyes, looking at the lovely face close to his, and felt a burning coal slide through his throat and into his stomach.

Infinite light, infinite warmth, infinite Divinity, spilled forth from it.
"Pop!"
With a crisp sound of a bubble popping, Hestia raised her head, wiping her slightly swollen lips, and huffed.
"Alright, that's all. Take care of yourself, I'll be leaving now."
Without waiting for Luo En to retain her, the guilty Goddess of the Hearth quickly fled the prison.
But seemingly, her steps were quite faltering and weak.
This fool...
Luo En watched his chief god's retreating back, touching his belly that continued to radiate heat and warmth, feeling an immense surge of emotion.
He probably understood what had been added to his body.
"Eeya~~"
As Luo En's thoughts surged, the familiar sound of the prison door sliding came again.
Another one? It doesn't matter who; his patience was already frayed, ready to lie down in any position at any time.
However, upon looking up and seeing the newcomer, he involuntarily tensed, crossed his arms, and backed into a corner cautiously.
"Apollo? What are you here for?"
