Chapter 25: Secrets in the Cave

Dawn brought with it the cold breeze of the mountains. Han Feng remained motionless, hidden among the shadows of the trees, his eyes fixed on the entrance of the cave where the spy had disappeared.

The Gu tracker was still fixed on the target, allowing him to sense the vague movements of the figure inside the cave. The man seemed to be communicating with someone. However, the distance and the rocky barrier prevented Han Feng from hearing anything.

"I can't act hastily..." but I need to know what's happening in there."

He closed his eyes and activated a special hearing Gu. This Gu allowed him to capture distant sounds and convert them into audible frequencies for his mind.

Suddenly, he heard fragments of conversation.

— ... we are still not sure if he is the heir...

— But the features match. If it really is him, we need to inform him before the Shadow Sect finds him first.

Han Feng felt a shiver run down his spine. "Are they talking about me?"

He didn't know whether he should feel threatened or intrigued. The mention of "heir" and "Shadow Sect" indicated that there were hidden forces at work behind the scenes. Whatever was happening, it seemed to be connected to the Celestial Diagram.

Han Feng would need to decide his next move with caution. Entering the cave could be a risk, but ignoring this clue could be an even bigger mistake.
