Chapter 144: Chapter 144: Ero Girl Miku

Chapter 144: Ero Girl Miku

Saturday.

Morning.

In a cooking class, Sakurai Saki was listening along with Miku to the instructor's guidance.

On the blackboard in front, the detailed steps were all written out, accompanied by extremely cute illustrations. Girls would probably like this style; the instructor was also a man, fairly good-looking. Sakurai Saki felt that this training center had really grasped human nature quite well.

For example, between a young, beautiful female superior and an average middle-aged boss, who would office workers prefer?

The answer was obvious—it's the former. In this society, beautiful people truly are more favored.

To win over their beautiful boss, some office workers would even squeeze themselves dry.

"A~ this isn't good~ if this keeps up, I'll get completely drained… But it's okay, as long as the boss is happy!"

"Saki-kun, you have to listen to the lecture carefully." Miku's soft and pleasant voice sounded beside him.

She always spoke quietly, often splitting one sentence into multiple fragments before finishing it.

Sakurai Saki glanced at the cooking ingredients laid out in front of them.

Miku was taking notes—much more seriously than she was during cram school.

Sakurai Saki felt utterly helpless about this.

Miku-san's addicted to matcha, huh. If only you could be this diligent when studying.

If you could just apply one-third of the energy you uses on drinking matcha soda, eating matcha sweets, and playing Sengoku games to studying, things wouldn't be the way they are now.

At that moment, Sakurai Saki's inner thoughts nagged like an old grandma.

Up front, the handsome teacher finished explaining the steps and began the hands-on practice.

"First, let's make the cake base—beat the egg whites with sugar…"

Hearing that, Sakurai Saki picked up the hand mixer.

"No." Miku stopped him.

In Sakurai Saki's mind, he suddenly recalled the first time last year when he and Miku went to a cooking class together and were placed in the same group.

That day, one of the boys in the group ended up in the infirmary after eating what they made and didn't return for the entire afternoon.

Ever since then, Sakurai Saki had never let Miku take the lead during cooking classes again.

Miku: ( ,,⩌'︿'⩌,,)

"Here." Sakurai Saki handed her the mixer.

A few minutes later—

Miku cracked a few eggs and carefully separated the egg whites.

She was moving at an absurdly slow pace, to the point that Sakurai Saki could barely stand it.

As the son of a family that ran a wagashi shop, he couldn't accept her technique.

"Miku, eggshell," Sakurai Saki reminded.

"Umu, thank you." Miku picked up a pair of chopsticks and tried to fish out the piece of shell. Sakurai Saki stood beside her, resisting the urge to point and instruct.

It felt like watching old men playing chess in the park—every move was painfully slow, and even though you're itching to comment, you hesitate to criticize them to their faces.

A bit more time passed.

"Okay, has everyone finished the first step? Then let's move on to—" The teacher glanced at Sakurai Saki and Miku and noticed they still weren't done. "Everyone, check your meringue again, we'll wait a bit longer."

On the platform, the teacher was already preparing to begin the second step.

Sakurai Saki noticed that everyone was looking at him with strange eyes—most of the gazes focused entirely on him.

The female-to-male ratio here was extremely high. To be specific, aside from him, there were no other male students. Among the girls, quite a few were JKs, and at that age, they tended to care about looks more than money or personality. Without a doubt, Sakurai Saki stood at the very top in terms of appearance among his peers, and in this situation, the girls' attention had long shifted away from the cakes.

The stares from the girls were way too intense.

Sakurai Saki had no choice but to step in behind Miku, using her as a shield.

"Come on, follow my lead." Sakurai Saki stepped in directly, preparing to guide the girl through each step.

Her hands weren't big—very soft, with clearly defined joints. Maybe because she stayed holed up indoors for so long, her skin was pale to the point of seeming a bit sickly.

Miku glanced at him sideways, her voice serious: "I can do it myself." ( ,,⩌'︿'⩌,,)

"You're way too slow. Don't you realize everyone's staring at us?" Sakurai Saki didn't bother beating around the bush.

"Oh." Miku looked up and finally noticed it.

A wave of embarrassment rushed over her, and she lowered her head in silence, allowing Sakurai Saki to guide her hands.

"Whip in one direction. No need to go too fast—just keep a steady rhythm."

He gave instructions while helping her move.

Miku was being held by the hand, and his body was pressing up against her back—she could smell the scent on his clothes, lavender.

'Too close.'

Miku: ( ˶o˶˶o˶) !!

Sakurai Saki, focused on baking, didn't notice her feelings or thoughts at all.

...

Over an hour later—

The cake was placed into the oven.

Miku stared at it with hopeful eyes.

Sakurai Saki also let out a quiet sigh of relief—this time, he hadn't let Miku take part in seasoning, and he was the one who handled the baking time.

Safe and sound, on solid ground.

While waiting, Sakurai Saki and Miku noticed that everyone else in the class had started chatting.

The two of them tried to come up with a topic.

"At first, I thought you'd use your wish ticket to invite me to play games."

"Saki-kun doesn't like Sengoku history,"

 (,,•̀⤙•́,,)

Miku puffed her cheeks, looking like an adorable little hamster.

"Says who? The Sengoku era started in 1467. I even remember the names of some characters—oh, right, and their Ultimate Skills too!"

"That's just from the Sengoku game!" Miku murmured softly, in her usual gentle voice.

"Hack-and-slash games are fun," Sakurai Saki replied, not understanding her point.

They're refreshing and stress-relieving. If it weren't for the difficulty being too low, making them feel boring, Sakurai Saki thought this was the best way to vent his daily destructive urges.

"The character designs in those games aren't accurate…" Miku said stubbornly.

"What's so weird about Oda Nobunaga using an electric guitar? She's the Demon King of the Sixth Heaven, right? Having a Stando Pawah is totally normal!"

Sakurai Saki had played quite a few games where most of the characters were missing hotdogs down below and had them replaced with watermelons up top.

"Those weird games! Stop playing them already!" Miku shouted, annoyed.

"Weird games?" Sakurai Saki teased. "What kind?"

"Well…" Miku suddenly lowered her voice, her face turning red as she looked away, "The ero ero kind…"

(,,¬﹏¬,,)

"Oh, so that kind."

(˵ ¬ᴗ¬˵)

Sakurai Saki figured Miku was probably the most knowledgeable about sex among the Nakano quintuplets.

She liked browsing the internet, so she had likely come across quite a bit of degenerate trash.

A dumb kuudere otaku girl, but secretly a pervy old man full of experience… it was kind of fascinating…

'I've been acting a little weird lately, haven't I?'

Sakurai Saki realized that ever since becoming a vampire, his tolerance for ero ero content had grown significantly.

He even found himself imagining that kind of thing more often.

Like that quote from Curse Chef the Great Sage—it made perfect sense:

"At the sight of a pale arm, one thinks of thighs, then of genitals, then of intercourse, then of breeding, then of illegitimate children."

Human thought really did jump around like that.

"I-I don't play those kinds of games…" Miku mumbled in defense.

Her hands were placed nervously in front of her chest, looking incredibly adorably flustered.

"Was it a misclick? Or maybe…"

Before Sakurai Saki could finish, Miku punched him lightly in the chest with her little fist——

"…Saki-kun's bullying me."

Miku: ( ,,⩌'⤙'⩌,,)

"Too cute," Sakurai Saki blurted out.

Miku's face turned even redder.

She looked left and right, then not knowing what else to do, squatted down on the floor, turning into a little ostrich.
