Chapter 136: BioMissiles!

'Bio Bombs,' Lance thought.

That's what he feared the most. A weapon of mass destruction. Mister Leric wanted not only to dominate his weaponry against the Abominants but also to the poor Outsiders.

A war just to centralize the earnings in the City, making the Outside trade markets obsolete and wiped out.

He needed some invention that could par with the Railgun and gave the Outsiders a fighting chance against the death squad of the Customs and Border Defense (CBD), the Special Homeland Force (SHF).

'Long-range Bio bombs!' Lance relived the words of Mister Leric.

Leric had pointed out about missiles. Now, it was a great opportunity to disclose the location of weapons manufacturing of mass destruction of the CBD, which Jefferson had been longing to locate.

Steamhaven Condominiums, SteamHaven District

The terrifying crackles of thunder and the abrupt gleaming lightning appeared more frequently, streaming a jolt of intense light through Luke's Condominium's wide transparent windows.

The Demetrian Season had started.

"Jasper, show me the components of a missile. Give me something that will not explode but will disperse the Aiveez nectar poison effectively, the missile will be used as its transmission channel."

The great thing about being a CBD employee was the access to the weapons archive – designs, manufacturing capabilities, future weapon plans, and even tech suits were available. Mister Leric had been developing gradually these weapons, reliving the availability before Nuclear World War.

However, these high-tech weaponry were not pushed to production because of the lack of components. Most intricate, Masterwork Level components were found beyond the grasp of Axe Central City.

Meanwhile, the Rebels had been working 24/7 just to produce as many exo-armors and QuasarFlare Poison Blasters just to battle against the raging Abominants.

One thing was certain during the season, many would perish. Two weeks of darkness, rain would come almost unceasingly, which the brains of the Scientists could not explain. With dark atmosphere and heavy rains, the sunlight deemed useless, making an all day hunting hours for the raging and amplified Abominants.

The Lost Engineers had been quiet lately, and probably, still watching his every move. They might hold the key to preventing Demetrian Season with the field of knowledge they possessed. But they preferred that this would happen, and Lance's plan was just to provide as many weapons as the rebels could.

"Showing missile components as per your request. Are you going for a long-range, master?" Jasper asked.

[1] Fusion Thrusters – Rare Level

[2] Flexible Payload Warhead – Masterworks Level

[3] Electrolink Guiding Systems – Masterworks Level

[4] Subspace Mapping Module – Rare Level

[5] Hardshell casings – Uncommon Level

[6] Hive-mind protocol – Masterworks Level

[7] Other common level components.

"Jasper, can you determine the probable location of each component?"

"Yes, master. However, the Subspace mapping module and the Hive-mind Protocol are already obsolete. There are no practical uses for this current technology, Master. What we need to do is build them from scratch."

"Do you have available manuals for that?" Lance asked.

"No. But they are available knowledge in High Scientia Academia. Maybe in the archives of CBD. This knowledge is being kept by Mister Leric to maintain confidentiality. This is also to increase your intelligence level, Master." Discover hidden content at empire

"I am really happy that I am almost finishing up with my preMasters Energy sources Course from Doctor Adamson. Now, I am going to enroll again!" Lance bickered.

"Then do what you did before. Collect references for possible applications and construction of the said components."

It would be tedious to search and construct these highly critical and sensitive system modules. He needed time and resources to procure all materials needed for the fabrication. However, collecting them from beyond the wall locations posed a danger to his life and the lives of the rebel faction members that would accompany him. A dilemma had crossed his mind.

"Can you find previous applications of mapping modules and hive-mind protocol systems?"

"During the Active Abominant wars, Terrabitha City held these kinds of missiles. As they battle hives just within the proximity of guided missiles. However, they failed to destroy the hives because of some sort of signal disruption that made the Mapping modules blind."

'Signal disruption? Human intervention?' Lance thought, connecting the dots of the sinister plots made by the Axe Central Government.

"Ok, we can't farm them outside the walls during Demetrian. So, we build them. But first, I need to ensure the safety of the rebels in Felsom Prison."

"How, master?"

"Did you know that the Agricultural Sector had been producing the Aiveez seedlings by the use of our in-vitro project?"

"It seemed rational, Master. In my assessment, the CBD had somehow mandated the Homestead Green Sector to produce the Aiveez plant because of weapon applications."

"Yes. You are right. They are making tens of thousands of seedlings in the Dome right now, and we are harvesting more and more for the poison bomb utilization."

"What is your plan, Master? I cannot connect your statements."

"We are going to steal the seedlings and plant them all over Felsom Prison, surrounding the fence. So that we could make a defensive circle that the Abominants could not penetrate." Lance elucidated.

"Ah. I get it now, Master. The Aiveez will serve as repellants. Making the fort impenetrable." Jasper praised. "When are you going to steal the seedlings?"

"Will make arrangements with the Rebel Faction again. I hope the cold winds had not swarmed Felsom State first."

"It's very risky, Master. The agricultural sector is heavily guarded by the local police and military. You can't just waltz in there and grab what you need. You need transport vehicles for that, Master," Jasper said.

"Yeah, I am aware of that, Jasper," Lance responded.

"And did you know that when you successfully take what stole, the transport trucks can never go beyond the walls without further hostility by the SHF," Jasper said.

"Yeah, I am aware of that, Jasper." Lance responded nonchalantly.

"Then, what are your options?" Jasper asked.

"Could be, if possible, through legal and legitimate ways," Lance responded.
