The Inférius

Ferinish began to eliminate all the ice soldiers in the room. Fraizen flew towards her, swinging his large ice sword towards the woman, who jumped back.

The ice soldiers pulled out their bows and arrows, starting to shoot towards the warrior. Ferinish began to jump from pillar to pillar to dodge the shots. Fraizen did the same, flying in pursuit of the warrior.

"Don't run away, human!"

Leaning on one of the pillar's walls, Ferinish jumped towards the queen, with the two women starting to fight in the air, destroying everything around them.

Upon reaching the ground, the several ice soldiers ran towards Ferinish, who touched one of them and created a large flame that melted all the soldiers.

Wrapping his leg in ice, Fraizen shot out like a jet and tried to kick Ferinish in the head.

Holding her crimson sword firmly, Ferinish knocked Fraizen's leg back, causing a small explosion.

"!!"

Stepping back, Fraizen noticed that her leg had been torn off, so she recreated another one out of pure ice.

"You are truly incredible, Miss Lawhell. But I can fight all night if necessary."

"Really?"

Ferinish pointed her sword at Fraizen, and they both began to walk in circles.

"Of course. I can recreate my body as much as I want! And with this mutation, I can shape my body as I wish!"

Her horn began to grow larger, her wings became larger and sharper, and she dismantled her greatsword, making her mutant ice arm grow larger and more aggressive.

The two women resumed fighting, with Ferinish using her sword, and Fraizen with almost absolute control over ice.

The queen makes her castle create several spikes that shoot at the warrior, who cuts and dodges the stakes. Fraizen appears behind her and tries to cut her with his wings.

With his reflection, Ferinish cuts her wings with the flaming sword, causing great pain to Fraizen.

"Ahhh!"

With one of the wings split in half, Fraizen tries to hit her with his horn. Ferinish places the flaming sword over the area, starting to press.

The horn is cut, but ends up hitting Ferinish's face a little.

"Uhg!"

Ferinish puts his hand over his face, having a deep wound from his forehead to his lips.

Fraizen punches the ground hard, with a wave of thorny ice coming towards the woman. Ferinish cuts the wave of ice in half, Fraizen appears between the cracks and covers Ferinish's face with his mutant hand.

Slamming her against the wall, Fraizen began to deliver several brutal attacks against Ferinish, cutting her with his wings, piercing her with his horns, tearing her apart and striking her with his mutant arm.

The Renkai Energy acquired from these blows began to enter Ferinish's veins, making the woman feel as if her body was starting to catch fire from the inside. Fraizen smiled sadistically, continuing with his attacks of pure violence.

"Stop!!"

Carolina, who had freed herself from the ice shackles, pierced Fraizen with her ice spear. The queen looked at her, furious.

"How dare you stop your mistress?"

With all his strength, Fraizen punched Carolina, sending her flying into the air. She flew towards Carolina, wrapping her wings around her and crashing into the wall.

"You are disappointing! I thought you would be eternally loyal to me!"

Fraizen spat in Carolina's face, and despite being injured, she kicked Fraizen in the face.

Kneeling on the ground, Ferinish began to bleed from her eyes and lips, feeling the Renkai Energy growing more and more violent in her body.

She screamed in despair, feeling her hair begin to transform, turning black, her strands turning blue, and catching fire in that blue area.

Her entire body began to be engulfed in blue flames, brutally burning her skin and flesh.

The blood flowing from her eyes and lips evaporated completely, her clothes burning, leaving her naked.

After beating Carolina and taking a few blows, losing one of her eyes and tearing her wings, Fraizen observed Ferinish's situation with fascination.

"Incredible!"

She limped, but still walked quickly, towards Ferinish.

"A Destroyer is being born!"

Ferinish's body begins to regenerate as she resists the Renkai Energy. Her eyes, which had almost burned out, return to a dark blue, bright as the flames that still surrounded her, with a white iris shaped like fire.

Her naked body begins to be covered by a flaming blue armor, and her sword, which had melted, appears in the warrior's hands.

Ferinish's mind begins to be taken over by darkness, as if something were trying to take control of her body. Trying to use her.

"I WILL NOT LET YOU TAKE CONTROL OF ME!!"

Ferinish shouted, the flames spreading further across her body, leaving an almost unbearable heat. Feeling her sweat, Fraizen decided to act.

"You are very strong, but I won't let you win the Test of Conscience."

His wings prepared to kill her...

Suddenly, Fraizen felt a strange sensation in his normal arm... was it a syringe?!

Looking up... there was nothing. But when he lowered his head, Slady was in front of him, holding two syringes between her fingers.

Before he could react, the syringe's effect briefly paralyzed his body. Slady quickly placed the two syringes on her neck, causing her to weaken, and the root in her body to grow larger and more prominent.

The man quickly pulled a line from his overcoat pocket, wrapping it around the queen's body, and then lighting a lighter, touching it to the line.

Her body was engulfed in flames, and not even the paralysis of her muscles prevented her from screaming in hatred and pain.

Falling into a Blizzard Inferius that had appeared at the back of the castle, Ferinish didn't stop his attack, feeling the mutant ice arm break in half and melt before falling. Her innocence, her kindness, everything... completely eroded the day she became a Destroyer. She remembered killing her parents and the former king who ruled IceStorm.

'Mommy... Daddy... why did I do all that to you? Did I do it because I was a bad girl?'

It was too late to question her actions in life; she only felt her body being split in half by the cut, with the flames created by Ferinish's sword tearing into the sky, destroying not only the Inferius's core, but also its dimensional barrier. Creating a dark rift that would soon regenerate.

The pain was immense. But it felt... liberating. As if she were paying for the sins of her life. Ferinish stood before her, holding his sword and preparing to finish her...

"Wait!"

Carolina appeared in front of Ferinish, pointing the ice spear at the Destroyer, who was surprised, gripping the sword tightly. But she did nothing about it.

"... You know what you have to do."

Ferinish simply turned his back, heading toward the Inferius's exit. Carolina turned toward Fraizen, kneeling before her, preparing to pierce her heart.

"How dare you still be alive?! I'll make you pay for everything you've done!"

"Please... do it."

The last thing Carolina expected to hear was Fraizen begging to be killed. She looked at the queen, who was crying tears of ice, but unlike sadness and anger, she was... happy.

"I have no forgiveness for what I did..."

Her hand, weakly, reached for Carolina's face, caressing her cheek. The woman wanted to pull away, but seeing such a genuine reaction from the one who made everything hell was completely unexpected.

"Don't make me pity you! You're a monster!"

"I admit it, Carolina Silver. You're a good soldier, always have been. I don't deserve your love, I've never deserved anything in this world. Just do what you have to do, I'll pay for my sins after I die."
