The Massacre Accross All Cosmos

Chapter 22: Chapter 35 - Marriage

Fifteen years had passed, but for Xiao Bai Tian, every second spent with Lian Zhi felt like a journey that was just beginning. Their bond had grown deeper, stronger, and inseparable. Over this long period, they had been through many things together, from the hard work of planting rice in the fields to preparing medicinal herbs that were part of their everyday life. A simple life they had chosen, but in that simplicity, the peace they experienced was immense.

Every morning, they worked side by side. Lian Zhi, with her gentle hands, planted rice in the fertile soil, while Bai Tian, with unwavering dedication, helped care for the plants. They spoke in the comfortable silence, exchanging smiles, or sometimes just sitting together, enjoying each other's presence without words. Although their journey had been filled with challenges, they had found in each other a safe haven, far from the chaos of the outside world.

In the afternoon, Lian Zhi would gather medicinal herbs from the forest surrounding their small town, while Bai Tian would often train the Dao techniques he had learned in his spare time. Although his body had reached a very high level of cultivation, he still felt there was much more to learn, especially about the concept of freedom that he had long sought. On the other hand, Lian Zhi, with all her tenderness and wisdom, had always been an encouragement to Bai Tian. She knew that even though Bai Tian never expressed his feelings, his presence was a source of strength for him.

Now, after fifteen years of togetherness and mutual understanding, Bai Tian decided to propose to Lian Zhi. He knew this was a major step in his life, one that would bind them even closer. And as he took steps toward that marriage, he knew there was no more doubt in his heart. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with Lian Zhi, accompanying her through every joy and sorrow.

With firm determination, Bai Tian set out on a journey to meet Lian Zhi's father, the Leader of the Tian He Sect, one of the most powerful sects in the world. The first step toward that meeting was filled with an unavoidable tension. From the first time he met Lian Zhi, he had known that her father was a very influential figure, and he realized that proposing to Lian Zhi meant facing a difficult trial.

Bai Tian wore simple yet elegant clothes, attire that reflected his character—strong yet humble. His face was covered by the black cloth, as usual, giving him a mysterious yet powerful aura. He walked with confidence toward the Tian He Sect, where Lian Zhi's father awaited. Though he knew this wouldn't be an easy journey, he felt that with everything they had been through together, he was ready to face whatever came for Lian Zhi.

Upon arriving at the Tian He Sect, Bai Tian was greeted by a disciple who appeared arrogant. The disciple, with sharp eyes, looked at Bai Tian with a mocking gaze. "So, you're the one intending to propose to Lian Zhi?" the disciple asked in a taunting tone. "A blind man who relies on a black cloth on his face? Do you really think you're worthy of her?"

Bai Tian wasn't affected by the words. He knew he didn't need to prove anything to someone like this. "I came to propose to Lian Zhi. I don't care what you think," Bai Tian replied calmly, but his voice carried an undeniable strength.

The disciple laughed loudly. "You're really bold, but do you know what will happen if you fail? If you fail, you'll bear the consequences. If you want Lian Zhi, you'll have to pass our test." With those words, the disciple stepped forward and began releasing a suppressive energy, as if to challenge Bai Tian in a battle of understanding.

Bai Tian sighed and raised his hand. In an instant, he felt powerful energy swirling around him. Without a word, he focused his Dao energy, stabilizing himself and facing the incoming pressure. The disciple sensed something different in Bai Tian's aura. "What are you doing?" he asked in confusion.

"Complete this test, or you'll realize that you're not ready to face the consequences," Bai Tian responded, his voice calm yet undeniable.

After a brief clash of energies, the disciple stepped back in disappointment. "You… you passed," he said in surprise, but there was an unspoken respect in his voice. Bai Tian simply nodded, not wishing to continue the fight further. He only cared about proposing to Lian Zhi, and that was all that mattered.

Finally, Bai Tian was brought before Lian Zhi's father, the Leader of the Tian He Sect. Lian Zhi was also present, standing beside her father with a hopeful and anxious look in her eyes. Lian Zhi's father stared at Bai Tian with sharp eyes, as if trying to assess how worthy Bai Tian was to be part of his family.

"So, you've come to propose to my daughter?" the Leader of Tian He asked in a deep voice, though wisdom shone in his eyes.

Bai Tian, despite his heart being filled with anxiety, remained calm. "Yes, I've come to propose to Lian Zhi. I want to spend the rest of my life with her," Bai Tian answered sincerely.

The Leader of Tian He was silent for a moment, examining Bai Tian with deep attention. He knew that even though Bai Tian couldn't see, there was an extraordinary power within him. "You dared to come here and propose to my daughter. That alone shows your determination," said the Leader of Tian He. "However, I want to see just how deep your determination goes. I will give you a test, one that will test the depth of your heart."

Bai Tian looked at Lian Zhi's father seriously. "Whatever test you give, I'm ready to face it."

The Leader of Tian He smiled slightly and then raised his hand. In an instant, an immense energy was released from his body, and Bai Tian felt overwhelming pressure. However, he was undaunted. With all the strength of his Dao, Bai Tian resisted the pressure, feeling his determination growing stronger. "I will pass this test," he whispered to himself.

Finally, after a series of intense tests, the Leader of Tian He nodded in satisfaction. "You've proven yourself, Bai Tian. You are indeed worthy to be part of this family."

That day, Bai Tian and Lian Zhi finally stepped toward their wedding altar. Bai Tian wore elegant black attire, with a hint of sky blue symbolizing the depth of his heart. Lian Zhi wore a graceful white gown, with delicate patterns that highlighted her natural beauty. They stood before the altar, gazing at each other with eyes full of love, while the air around them was filled with happiness.

The wedding was simple yet full of meaning, a new beginning for both of them. They knew that, although the outside world was full of chaos and challenges, they would always have each other. And with that, they were ready to face whatever came their way, together.

That day marked a new chapter in the lives of Bai Tian and Lian Zhi. After enduring various trials, both external and internal, they finally united in an unbreakable bond. Their wedding day was simple, yet filled with warmth and overflowing happiness. There was no extravagant display, but every step they took, every glance they exchanged, revealed everything.

Their marriage was not just a tradition; it was a symbol of the long journey they had taken together. A journey that began in isolation and loneliness, and finally led to the discovery of true peace and love. They made a vow to always support each other, no matter what the future held.

Bai Tian, with his face always hidden behind the black cloth, now stood with confidence beside Lian Zhi. The wedding attire he wore was unremarkable, but its simplicity radiated strength and determination. Lian Zhi, in her elegant white wedding gown, looked graceful and radiant. She gazed at Bai Tian with deep love, as if seeing someone she had long waited for.

After the wedding ceremony, they returned to their simple home, which had been a silent witness to their togetherness. The days following their wedding felt more peaceful. They continued their daily routine, but now there was a stronger bond between them. Every morning, they walked together to the fields, planting rice and tending to the medicinal plants they gathered from the forest. Every evening, they sat together, enjoying tea while talking about the small things that made their lives more beautiful.

Despite this, Bai Tian never forgot his goal of achieving true freedom, the concept he had long sought. With the peace he found in his life with Lian Zhi, he began to delve deeper into what freedom truly meant. Not just physical freedom, but freedom of the mind and soul, freedom from all the chains that held him back. He began to sense that his journey to understand the deeper concepts of Dao was not only about power but also about understanding himself and the world around him.

On the other hand, Lian Zhi, who always accompanied him, never stopped offering her support. She knew that Bai Tian was an extraordinary man with limitless power. But she also knew that Bai Tian's greatest strength was not in his body, but in his heart and soul, which were filled with sincerity. Lian Zhi was always there, accompanying Bai Tian every step of the way in his quest for freedom and peace in their lives.

However, behind the happiness they shared, there was always a looming shadow. The outside world was never truly calm, and even though they tried to live in peace, they knew nothing lasts forever. There would be other trials they would have to face, challenges greater than what they had already endured.

But at that moment, Bai Tian and Lian Zhi were not afraid. They knew that whatever came their way, they would face it together. The love they had, the bond that had become so strong, would be an unshakable force to overcome any storm.

Day by day, time passed, and despite the uncertainties of the outside world, the peace they found in their little home grew deeper. They did not just find freedom in physical achievement or power, but also in their hearts and souls—the freedom to love and be loved, the freedom to be their true selves.

In that small town, amidst the tranquility of nature, Bai Tian and Lian Zhi lived a life full of love and peace. Every morning, they woke up together, following their simple yet meaningful daily routine. They knew that true happiness was not about power or prestige, but about finding peace in the heart and living life with the one you love.

However, Bai Tian's feelings did not stop at personal freedom. He began to sense that his journey to become a god, to reach the highest level in this world, was still far from complete. He knew there was much more to achieve, much more to learn. And even though he had found happiness in life with Lian Zhi, there was a calling that continued to push him forward, to continue exploring the concept of freedom and the fate that had been set for him.

Lian Zhi, with her wisdom, knew that Bai Tian's journey would not end here. Although she was happy to live with Bai Tian, she also understood that their love would face greater tests. But she was not afraid. She believed that together with Bai Tian, they could face anything. They had been through so much together, and they would continue to move forward, together, no matter what.

And so, the days full of love continued. And despite the uncertain future, Bai Tian and Lian Zhi knew that as long as they were together, they would always find the strength to face anything.
