The MISFITS

Kuro moves swiftly through the tall bamboos from one to the other she jumps with speed, Suna lays behind her holding onto her by the shoulders, he winced in pain as his chest and the side of his stomach slowly bleeds out. "Suna, Hang in there" kuro said in her breathlessness as she tries her best to move as fast, putting every single strength she has left to carry suna across the bamboo forest to one of the edge of the domains.

"Kuro..." Suna voice has gotten soft, his vision blurry as his body is slowly losing strength, "behind" he said letting Kuro know as she turns around to see a stone spear heading their way, she dodges to the side and keepg going. "Why are they still after us?" Kuro turns to see the ninjas on her tail still pursuing them.

The ninjas behind them sends out stone spikes towards them, trying to stop Kuro in her tracks, kuro jumps around and lands on the ground not bothering to confront them at all.

"Almost there" Kuro said as she sees the black wall coming into view in the distance, Suna eyes widen as the sky gets dark "Kuro look out!!" He screamed, Kuro does so as they barely dodge a falling boulder that smashes to the ground, Kuro falls on the ground dropping suna as she does, Suna lands on his back and coughs out blood.

Kuro gets up and rushes to Suna but is stop when a stone spear lands in front of her, she turns to the ninjas coming out of the Bamboo forest as they ready their katanas and stare down to her.

X gets up and shakes his hair from the dust and rubles, he locks eyes with the giant snack. He grins as he raises his arm in which the giant snake rushes towards him, from the side of the snack emerge from the ground two giant chains the same size as the snack, they fall on to the snack and crushes it.

X grits his teeth as he holds the snake down, the snake wrights under the chains, The chains burst away as the snake rises up and slams it's body on X. X moves to the side and jumps up while sending chains to wrap around the snake, the chains wrap tighter and tighter till the snake burst, X lands on top of the wall again as he sees the snake fix itself up again and rises up.

"Can't you just die yet?" He says as he runs on the wall, the snake behind him chasing him, X tries again to pierce the chains into the snake by spawning hundred of them around the snake and piercing it, the chains pierce with full strength and speed, the snake hisses in pain but continues its chase.

X relentlessly send chains to pierce the snake, "you're starting to piss me off" he laughs hysterically as he stops and stands in front of the snake, "come to papa" he says as the snake mouth opens wide in front of him, X catches the fangs with both his hand and with absolutely strength lifts the snake up and over him, smashing it down to the ground behind him.

"BOOM" X cheers, the snake stays there on the ground before rising up again, X starts running "How do i kill this thing?" he says as he jump but then gets hit by the tail of the snake and is send flying towards the wall again and bursting throughthe other side landing on the grass.

X lays on the ground looking at the sky, the snake approching him from the inner wall, "what the hell are you doing, Dumbass" X hears a familiar annoying voice "oh, you're still here" his eyes look up to the two people standing behind him, Nanashi hold Gio close to him "kill that snake already or I'll fucking kill you" nanashi said with anger, X rolls his eyes "what do you think I've been doing?" X sighs as he closes his eyes.

"Why the hell did you even summon that thing?" Nanashi accuses him in which X gets offended "whoa, how dare you. Yea it was me but it worked as a distraction didn't it?" Nanashi glares at him "stop with the bullshit" she says.

X sits up "i didn't know that this thing would summon that" he pulls out the tablet and holds it showing it too her, nanashi eyes looks at it and widens "That tablet, i think my mom said something about it" She said as X turns to her with hope "you know about this thing?" X asked in which nanashi nods

"I told you that my mom used to be a servant, when she was in the castle she stumbled upo-" X interruptes nanashi "Skip, tell me how to kill it" nanashi looks annoyed but tells him either way

"She told me that the tablet need to be awaken then destroyed in that state, this will make the Snake vulnerable as this tablet is it's key for it to stay in this world, without the tablet it will be killable and send back to the underworld" Nanashi explains, X turns to the snake that has destroyed the wall and comes closer to him.

"And how do i awaken the tablet?" X said still looking at the snake, "You need the blood of a-" before nanashi finish she is hit and coughs out blood.

The chain pierces her waist and her blood runs along the chains in to X's hand and drops into the tablet, The tablet glows and starts to shine, "You bastard" nanashi falls to her knees as the chain is pulled back, she holds her waist while Gio looks in worry and fear hugging her "Sis" he says.

X grins "payback for not giving me food" he says with a smirk, "you ate everything downstairs" nanashi screamed, "are you dead?" X said as he looks at her with a grin then starts to walk towards the snake.

X holds the glowing tablet and starts to break it but before it is destroyed, X is sent flying by the snake into the air above, his eyes widen as he looks down to see the snake which now has glowing scales the same color as the tablet on the ground and in the next second under his leg ready to bite down.

He dodges the bite and lands on the snakes head, "oops, i forgot to say, while the tablet is at an awakened state the snake is 10x more powerfull" nanashi said with a smug face as she hold her wound.

X stand on the snakes mouth and jumps to the side, he then tries to destroy the tablet again but he is then slapped down by the snake, as he fall on the air he tries to break the tablet but sees the snake coming down above him with its mouth open ready to bite him.

Without hesitation X throws the tablet into the snake's open mouth, the snake bites down as the tablet goes inside it's mouth, at the same time X places his hand together again and grips his sword. "C'mon one more time, old friend" he says as he takes a breath and closes his eyes, "Akuma" he pulls out the sword and open his eyes with glowing pupil.

The demonic form returns to him, the snake's scales cease to glow as it falls above X, "First circle of hell, Limbo" He says as his demeanor changes again to a calm state, the world around them turn to the void as the Snake freezes in the sky and X stands on the air.

X looks up with dead eyes and lifts his sword, Nanashi looks up and she sees in shock as the snake's corpse of a million pieces fall onto the ground beside her and Gio.

X steps down from the air like he has walked down on stairs, he stands in front of nanashi with the snake corpse behind him, he puts akuma back into his palm and his form returns back.

"Killed it" he said with his toungue out and a grin, nanashi looks in shocked and smiles with relief "you did" she says softly. X walks towards her and puts his hand on her wound which closes it like it never existed "thanks" nanashi said as she looks up at him.

X turns to the snake that has not gotten up from the dead, seeming for good.

Kuro puts up her two uzi guns towards the ninjas, she glares at them with anger as she growls at them. The ninjas ready their weapon as they slowly approach her, as they stand off against each other with their eyes lock on.

Kuro shoots out her gun on all of them but the ninjas out up stone wall then pushes the wall towards Kuro, Kuro jumps into the air to dodge the moving stone walls, she flips through the air while the ninjas sendnout stone spear as she moves through the air.

Kuro lands in front of a ninja and shoots him on the head, she goes low and rushes another to the left, her leg is trao yet again "not again" she says as she tries to budge her leg free, Suna raises his hand seeing Kuro struggles while he winced from the pain.

The ninja approach her but then a sand haze appears from Kuro and blinds the vision of the ninja, he swings down on the spot where kuro was to find she has moved. The ninjas looks around and swing blindly, Suna hand falls from fatigue and the haze subsides, the ninjas turn to find looking at one another and Kuro jumps from a bamboo tree gunning down both of them as she lands.

Kuro takes a breath then rushes to suna, holding him in her arm "Suna, stay with me please, we're almost there" her voice desperate as her eyes start to water, Suna looks at her as his eyes open weakly his hand move to touch her face but it stops midway to him losing strength.

Kuro picks him up and moves towards the edge without any interruption, She makes it to the dark black wall in no time with her speed. She looks at Suna who has closes his eyes and his breath has gone shallow, She prepares herself and walks into the dark wall before emerging the other side.

Her eyes open to a row of soldier aiming their gun towards the domain, she looks at them as they stand in front of mutiple trucks with machine guns on top of them aiming at them as well. Kuro eyes water as a tear fall down, "Help, X sent me here to ask for your help, please" She screamed with distress.

The soldier look among each other before one ran back to ask for orders, "sir, there seems to be a woman with an injured man that have exited the domain, she says that X has sent her here" the soldier salutes towards the Major, The Major turns to him and steps outside to see it for himself "Get them to the infirmary" he ordered as the soldier salutes and runs back.

Kuro looks down towards Suna "Suna... they'll help us, please hold on" she said in a whisper, her eyes seeing him in this state begins to shudder in pain as she walks towards the soldier and medic who have come towards them. "Give him to us, we'll take care of him" a medic said holding a stretcher as Kuro lays him their, a medic comes towards her and check on her.

The soldier brings them towards the infimary, the major stands and follow the two who have exited the domain with his eyes.

X stood at the courtyard, the bodies of the servants, Hebi guards, and Isha Ninjas lay on the floor as the battle has ended. The isha clan has come forth victorious, X approach the Lord as he sees that the lord has found Hoseki amidst the battle.

X moves between the guard, one trying to stop him but X pushes him off easily with a flick, He stood and holds Hoseki in his arm. "What the hell do you think you are touching me for?" Hoseki said in annoyance but X ignores her, "We got a deal old man, so spit it out before lil princess here becomes that snake's twin" X said with a grin on his face, Lord nahishi nods "I'll show it to you, if you follow me" he then raises his hand towards the castle.

X still holds hoseki follows behind him. Nahishi takes them towards the castle which is in ruble and halfway destroyed, he then walks towards a stone wall and snaps his finger which seperates the wall to show a staircase, they walk down to a room under the castle.

The Room was filled with scrap and chemicals on it's table and floor, the corner of the room sits a broken machine that seems to have exploded. A wall filled with paper with blueprints and writting, a table filled with tools and machines, a single bed rest on the side.

"What is this? A prison?" X asked as he looked around the room, Nahishi shakes his head "decades ago, when i was just a child, a strange man came to the castle. he brought with him extraordinary inventions with a promise to make one that'll provide to the kingdom, My father who was a kind and humble emperor wanted nothing but to give to the people so he gave the man all the support.

My father then gave this room under the castle and gave him free reign to all resources for his craft." Nahishi walks to the middle of the room, almost like he feels nostalgic of the place

"I was a curious child and i was amaze by his invention so i would come to see what he would do here, me and him became close as he showed me all his invention and told me stories of where he came, I asked him if he could make me something and he gave something i never expected, the ability to control the earth itself."

Nahishi makes pebbles float in the air "He then told me of what he planned, he said that he plans to build a portal and travel all around the world in search of someone" Nahishi looks at the blueprints on the wall, X looks confused "how does this relate to your land teleporting to mine?" X asked, nahishi smiles "Well, i believe that such a brilliant man is capable of achieving this event" he said with admiration.

"That's all i have, the deal is settled" Nahishi walks towards Hoseki and X let's go of her, nashishi stood in front of her but there is still tension between them.

X looks at the blueprint and smiles, "The deal is settled and i keep my promises, but i never said anything about your life" Nahishi turns to X in confusion but then his neck is wrap with chains and pulled up and ripping it off from his body, Hoseki screams and backs to the corner, "please don't kill me" she said in distress, X just smiles "it's alright, I promise your dad"

X said patting her head before walking out of the room leaving her with the corpse of her father.

He walks out to the courtyard where isha ninjas stand waiting for their emperor, X snaps his finger and each one of them is wrap and killed by his chains.

"You can come out now" he said, Juhebi peeks out from inside the castle and walks towards him, "I promise I'll be a better emperor then last time, now i don't have to worry about that demon snake so i don't need to sacrifice anyone, I'll be like my father" Juhebi spoke in fear and desperation.

X turns to him and holds his soldier in which Juhebi jumps in fear, "I believe you, so be a good boy and behave" X said before walking away towards an edge of the domain.

2 days later

Suna opens his eyes slowly as he sees an unfamiliar ceiling, he feels an softness below him like nothing he has ever felt before, a warmness from the blanket that covers him.

Suddenly he hears footsteps running closer towards him and suddenly he sees the familiar big smile drop down on him "Suna, your finally awake" Kuro screamed in excitement as she hugs Suna on the bed, she wears a hospital pajama with a bandage on her cheek, Suna smiles seeing her "Kuro..." he turns his head to see X on the other bed in the room "X.." he says.

X laughs from his side "must be nice to wake up to a girl in your hand for once" X said as he too wears the same pajamas and has mutiple bandages on him.

Suna blushes "I told you to stop saying stuff like that, I'll kill you" he said in annoyance, Kuro giggles from the exchange "Suna, you been out for 2 days and i was starting to get worry" Kuro said with a pout.

Suna looks in surprise "2 days, I'm sorry for making you worry" he said "doesn't matter, now that you're awake" Kuro hugs him tightly then lets go and jumps towards her bed.

"What happened while i was out?" Suna sat up while checking himself of the wound on his chest. X yawns "nothing much, i beat the snake, came back here to find you crying in your sleep with Kuro, some guys cane to question what i found on the mission and what happened to my old squad members" he shrugs as he leans back on the bed.

Suna looks done by how nonchalantly he explained it, Kuro pipes in "well i ate a lot of food that they gave, and Suna you won't believe it but they have that box up their that shows this moving painting and there was this one where people were fighting, it was so cool and awesome" Her eyes sparkle and she point towards the Tv on the wall.

Suna chuckles at her excitement and sees the Tv with awe, Suddenly the door opens wide and a woman steps in. Emmy holds an pad "Good morning, i hope you all are getting better in your recovery. I'm here to informs you that tomorrow will be the day of your discharge. X your conditions have been fulfilled, to your new members Identification will be made tomorrow" Emmy .

Suna turns to look at X, "So I went ahead and asked those pigs upstairs to let you stay here and in return you are to help me in my missions" X said as he grins, Kuro bounces on her bed excitedly "So we are a team now?" She said happily "And we will go on to fight more people like before in cool and awesome ways" Kuro eyes sparkle again, X nods "yea".

Suna looks down in thoughts, X sees this and smiles "hey, you can decline this offer if you don't want it" X said as he looks at him, Kuro hearing this turns sad as she too looks at him.

Suna looks at them, especially Kuro and shakes his head "of course I'll accept, there's nothing left for me to go back to at kakerui" Kuro hearing this jumps in excitement "yay, we're a team now" she says.

Emmy cover her mouth with a tablet but she smiles softly underneath seeing Kuro's excitement "well I'll leave you all to rest" She said as she left the room.

They are discharge on the next day, they wore their old clothes which has been washed and are brought to a car which drives off, Kuro and Suna looks at amaze by the vehicle and they look out to see the city building and people on the streets walking around, Emmy sat next to X, She giggles at their shocked expression reminding her of kids, "you're found a couple of interesting people" she said as a whisper to X, X turns to them both and grins "they sure are interesting" X chuckles.

Emmy smiles but then it falters "what happen to the others?" She said with sadness, X looks at her "they weren't prepared for what they were facing, it was bad luck" X said as he leans back, "bad luck" Emmy says it with sympathy "How do you feel?" Emmy turns to looks at him, X thinks for a while "I didn't found them interesting at all" he said without hesitation, Emmy sighs "i don't understand you at all" she says.

She then turns her attention to the two "Suna and Kuro right, Your identification have been processed and here are the cards" Emmy gives the card to the both of them. Suna and Kuro looks at them with awe "use this whenever you go to the military, our offices, and law enforcement.

These are your badges to show that you are now are part of X's team" Emmy explaned to them both. Suna and Kuro seem fixated at their pictures before they both see the codename written on it, "Dust?" Suna said.

X chuckles "that's your codename from now on, and don't look at me like that, i didn't come up with them, the millitary did" He said with a smirk. Kuro looks at hers "Cat" her eyes sparkle "i have a codename, that's so cool" she jumps in her sit, Emmy covers her chuckle with her mouth.

They drove away from the city to a secluded area near the city, the drove by into a forest as the car arrives in front of a gate. The gate opens and they are greeted by a pond and a gardens, behind the gardern and pond stood a big mansion.

The mansion seems to have been of old time, the exterior made out of white stone and light brown wood. The car stops in front of the steps towards the door, suna and kuro get out first to look at the building in front of them in awe, Emmy and X exits after.

"Why did you choose a mansion for you condition, especially this one?" Emmy looks at the big mansion in front of her, X grins "I have history with this place, i knew the previous owners and I owe them so i promised to take care of this place, and i believe it makes a good place for the team to stay."

X sees the place, his eyes soften "such a big place for only 3?" Emmy said, "and for more, who knows how many interesting people are out there" X smiles as he walks in front. Suna and kuro following behind him as the door in front suddenly open and a man goes out.

The man seems to be of 60 years of age, with his hair gray and short, he stands wearing a butlers outfit and stood in proper manner as he bows to greet them all. He lifts his head, to which the group sees that his eyes are covered by a black piece of cloth, he smiles "Welcome master Suna, Miss Kuro and Master X" his voice breems with kindness.

Suna and Kuro greets the old man "nice to meet you sir" they both said as they bow before going into the mansion to look at the inside, their eyes go wide with awe, Emmy bows slightly and enter to follow Suna and Kuro.

X approach the butler. "Old friend, it's been some time" X hold the man's shoulder in which the man smiles "indeed it has Master Lucifer"

X shakes his head "i don't go by that name anymore, just X is fine" X says as the Man nods "my apologies Master X" X smiles "how have you been, Grim" he asked as he walks in with Grim.

"I've been waiting for your return, i didn't think you would choose this place as your new home" Grim said as he closes the door. "Yea, i owe those two" X says as he looks at the entrance of the mansion, "you've used Akuma didn't you" Grim asked with a serious tone in which X replies "I had too, but i only release the first circle, actually it's all i can release after so long" X turns to look at Grim.

Grim shakes his head "The more you use it the more powerfull it becomes, in return it controls you, changes you. I've told you not too ever let it out" Grim spoke with disapproval, X grins "I wanted to protect those two, look... i won't use it again, you have my word" X said in which Grim still has his doubts but then he hears the commotion in the other room with Kuro jumping in excitement and Suna chuckling, Emmy trying to stop Kuro from breaking anything. "I can't blame you, they sound like Fun" Grim looks down and smiles, "I found some interesting two and i want to see them through" X grins as Grim nods.

X enters the living room and sees Suna and kuro looking at the antiques on the shelf, Emmy watches them as smiles. X walks towards them and stood beside Emmy, "they're so cute together" Emmy said in which X just chuckles "I've been teasing Suna about it non stop." X said with a smile.

Emmy then turns to X "You said before that you didn't have plans after the mission, why not take them to the city and look around, i could think of a couple places" Emmy said as she thinks, X eyes wide then he put up a smug face "Are you asking me out?" X looks at her with a smug look, Emmy jumps and glares at him "I'll kill you" X laughs but nods "sounds good, it be nice for them to get comfortable"

Suna and kuro over hears this conversation, Kuro jumps up and down "I want to look at those building we pass by" she said excitedly, Suna smiles as he sees kuro excitement. Emmy smiles at everyone aggreeing "Alright then, Tomorrow let's go out"
