The Moon has Awakened

(Timeline, after the Tangled the Series finale)

Varian stood under the full moon, amazed by it, but everything then goes dark very fast, Cass had the moonstone again, and he was being attacked, "No, this isn't real!" Varian exclaimed to himself, his cries echoing into the void, "Oh, but it was, wasn't it Vari?" Cassandra taunted, smirking wickedly, "In fact, this isn't even Cass, this is someone else entirely." Varian's breathing quickened, "What are you talking about??" he shakily demanded. "Seriously child? You don't even remember your own MOTHER?!" She laughed as she shifted into a corrupted version of what his mother looked like in the portrait in his house. Memories flooded in Varian's mind like a tsunami as he hyperventilated, "W-What? No, you can't be my mother.. You look nothing like her!!" He gasped. "Well, no, I'm trapped as a moon spirit, but I know that you will free me Moonlight." She explained with a evil grin. Cassandra returned as Varian's eyes and hair streak of blue began to glow, contrasting with the rest of his raven hair, he trapped Cass in the moon rocks somehow as he screamed, "GET. OUT. OF. MY. HEAD!!!" He was in control of the ominous black rocks and he looked back to see his hair and eyes, glowing a haunting light blue as the moon began to shine as well. The anger subsided into fear when he realized what exactly he was doing, the moon rocks turning against him as he became encased in them, he cried, succumbing to death. His eyes shot up as he quickly sat up in his bed, his father sitting beside him. "Varian! Thank God you're alright! You were so cold, nearly freezing to the touch, I thought I would lose you!" Quirin exclaimed as Varian tried to calm his own breathing, tears swelling up in his eyes. "Dad!" He cried as he sobbed into his shoulder, hugging him tight. "Hey hey, easy son, you're okay now, you'll be okay, everything will be okay." Quirin consoled as Varian glared at the full moon with it's slight blue tint. TO BE CONTINUED...
