—"The report said an unknown chakra fell in this area." One of them scans the surroundings.

The other nods.

—"If it's an enemy ninja, we need to eliminate them before they cause trouble."

My heart pounds. If they find me, I could die.

They disappear into the trees.

Once I'm sure the danger is gone, I start moving.

After walking for hours, I finally find a dirt road.

I follow it until a distant village comes into view.

The sign at the entrance leaves me speechless.

My mind races.

"If I'm here, that means Akatsuki still exists."

If I want to survive in this world… I need allies.

I look toward the village, knowing this will be the first step in my new life.
