The Mystical universe

Chapter 67: The Final blow

About ten miles away, a group of ten cultivators of varying ages stood amidst the vast wilderness, gazing intently in a particular direction. Most were dressed in blue robes adorned with green cloud designs, indicating their affiliation.

At the head of the group stood a fifteen-year-old youth of medium height. His long, unkempt green hair reached his waist, and his excessively sleep-deprived green eyes gave him an air of exhaustion. Despite his tired appearance, a sharp, spirited light flickered within his irises, revealing his intelligence and craftiness.

Unlike the others, his robes bore golden cloud patterns, signifying a higher status.

The young master narrowed his eyes in the distance.

"That noise… it sounds like a tough battle is taking place ahead."

His sharp mind quickly pieced together possibilities.

"Judging by the location… we can probably guess what they're fighting."

Behind him, a tall middle-aged man with a powerful aura stepped forward. He had short black hair, vibrant brown eyes, and a well-kept beard that made him look distinguished. A long sword rested on his back, and his presence alone exuded an overwhelming pressure.

The man spoke in a deep, steady voice, filled with concern.

"Young Master, it's not safe to venture deeper. I fear we won't be able to protect you adequately."

His words were straightforward, yet full of care, revealing how much he valued the young master's safety.

However, the young master simply shook his head.

"Uncle Creed, we can't turn back now."

His crafty green eyes glinted.

"I'm not satisfied with the natural plants, seeds, and worldly wonders we've gathered so far."

A brief silence followed as he glanced at the rest of his group. He was hesitant.

They had already lost several hired mercenaries, and if they continued forward, they might start losing clan members as well.

But his ambition outweighed his hesitation.

"I need even rarer plants and mystical treasures for my alchemy experiments," he muttered under his breath, a sound only Uncle Creed could hear.

The older man sighed internally.

"Ah… When it comes to medicine, the young master becomes extremely stubborn. He becomes completely nearsighted."

Despite his reservations, Creed turned his gaze to the battlefield ahead.

With his high cultivation, he was able to merge his spiritual sense with his sight, piercing through the jungle's natural restrictions.

What he saw shocked him.

-An unbelievable Battle.

At the heart of the battlefield, five teenagers were fighting a Peak Intent Materialization beast.

A bronze-skinned gorilla, its massive body coated in battle scars, roared furiously as it lashed out at its youthful opponents.

The land around them had been completely devastated.

The jungle, once lush and thriving, was now a war zone of broken trees and scorched earth.

The five young warriors were covered in injuries, their bodies drenched in blood. Even Su Yao and Xue Qing, who had been attacking from a distance, bore wounds on their lips, blood trickling down from the corners of their mouths.

But despite their battered state…

They still stood firm.

Their eyes burned with unyielding determination.

Meanwhile, the demonic gorilla was in far worse shape.

Its bronze-reinforced skin was cracked, and blood seeped from the open wounds. One of its eyes had been pierced by an ice sword, significantly reducing its vision.

The creature glared at them with hatred, its massive chest heaving.

It was at the end of its strength.

Creed's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Young Master…" His voice trembled slightly.

"We must meet these youngsters and befriend them. They are far more terrifying than I expected."

The young master frowned slightly, puzzled by his uncle's unusual reaction.

But instead of questioning him, he simply nodded.

"Alright. We'll see what's so monstrous about them when we arrive."

His lips curled into an eager smile.

He turned to his group, his hands resting behind his back in a confident stance.

"Everyone, we're heading that way! Gather your things."

"Yes, Young Master!" the group responded, moving swiftly.

A Battle Pushed to the Limit

While the Yun Clan cultivators set off toward the battlefield, Kaeln and his group fought desperately.

Their arms ached, their breathing was labored, and their bodies were near their limits.

Yet, they refused to fall.

Blood poured from their wounds, but they remained standing.

Across from them, the bronze gorilla was in even worse condition.

Its powerful physique trembled, its movements slowed, and its breath came in ragged gasps.

But its hatred did not fade.

Kaeln's chest rose and fell heavily as he took a deep breath.

"It's time to end this."

His upper body was covered in injuries, his flesh torn, but he had clashed the most with the beast, and now, it was time to finish it.

He gritted his teeth.

"Using my Infinite Sun Qi to burn my Crimson Emperor Dragon bloodline increases my strength beyond what I can normally achieve… but it's exhausting."

Fatigue pressed down on him like a boulder, but he forced himself to stay upright.

If he showed any weakness, the gorilla would seize the opportunity to strike him down first.

Kaeln exhaled deeply, steadying his mind.

The True Heart Sutra surged within him as he drew in massive amounts of Heaven and Earth energy—a sight reminiscent of an ancient beast awakening from slumber.

Deep within his dantian, the Infinite Sun Core blazed, releasing a dark golden flame.

It flowed through his 720 primordial meridians, fueling his body with world-ending might.

His solar cells burned brighter, and a few more awakened, though not enough to make a difference.

At the same time, his dragon cells vibrated, pulsating with limitless vitality.

Within his body, it felt as though hundreds of dragons roared in unison.

Above him, a massive energy vortex formed in the sky.

Kaeln clenched his spear, feeling an approaching presence in the distance.

"We need to finish this quickly. The people coming may not have good intentions."

His eyes narrowed as he spoke.

The others nodded resolutely.

Kaeln bent his knees, lowering his stance.

With a mighty battle cry, he unleashed his most powerful attack.

"Nine Stances of the True Dragon—Chaotic Dragon Stance: Cataclysmic Barrage!"

His aura exploded as he poured everything into his Blood-Swallowing Spear.

The sky above them darkened as six figures manifested—a flaming crimson dragon, a thunderous golden tiger, a red and black giant, a yellow sand dragon, a beautiful Ice Goddess, and a mysterious purple shadow.

Each embodied the peak of their auras.

Their combined power descended like falling stars, crashing toward the bronze gorilla.

The beast howled in defiance, its body glowing with a brilliant bronze splendor, unleashing a storm of a hundred heavy fists in retaliation.

"BOOOOM!!!!"

The largest explosion yet erupted.

A mushroom cloud of destruction expanded for miles, shaking the land.

The Aftermath...

The Yun Clan cultivators, still making their way toward the battlefield, staggered as the shockwave rushed toward them.

"Good lord! What a powerful shockwave!" one of the guards gasped.

"Everyone, hold onto something!" Creed commanded.

"Y-yeah, well, there's almost… nothing… to grab!" another guard stammered as the wind blasted into his face.

The young master, however, stood tall, unshaken.

A few cultivators exchanged glances.

"Young Master is truly a genius in both medicine and cultivation…" someone muttered in admiration.

Creed nodded in agreement.

"Let's wait for the explosion to settle. The battle should be over soon… Then, we'll make our move."

"Yes, Senior Creed!"

They waited, their anticipation growing.

And then, they rushed toward the battlefield.
