The olive and wristwatch

Ashvini went back and kept the envelope in his bag. 

This time, it was Subhash who was practicing the punching technique with the coach, 

He just stood there observing their moves and practicing them on the punching bag nearby. 

Apparently, Subhash was pretty good at this, as if he had already been trained.

It was eight past the quarter in the morning, 

Ashvini was sitting in the class alone, which was still dark, as no windows were open, and it was raining early, keeping the clouds dark and still without any rays of sun. 

It was dreadfully cold in the middle of June, 

The dawn didn't bring him any ray of hope, but he dwelt in the memories of the lovely life he left behind, all thanks to Mr. Shantanu 

That he is here in a battle where even the allies are strangers, and the enemies are the oppressors. 

'Morning, Mr. Dubey!!' A soothing voice, relished his soul there, as if a sense of calm and warmth washed over his body. 

He lifts his head up just to find it was Palki 

'Morning', replied as dry it could be, 

'Oh!! My God!!, What happened to your face??' She got terrified.

As that punch left a red swelling mark just below his left eye, 

'Nothing, I just fell out of my bed this morning!' Faking a smile, he replied,

'You called me a deductivist the other' 

'I did, what about that ?' 

She glanced at him as if a last warning, to tell the truth, otherwise, he would regret the consequences

'And are still trying to hide something from me!' She said 

'Is the homesickness?' she added

'Might be, but mainly it's just the Physics and chemistry that soaks up the soul out, ' he replied, turning his head down 

'Hey Ashvini, don't be sad! Okay,' she showed her care for him 

'Just be curious about this science, feel it happening around you. See how gravity works, how this electricity around us, the color of the sky. The chemical processes occurring in nature are just the observations of nature that we use for our own benefit, making life easier!!!' 

'But these bruises on your face can't be made by physics or chemistry, na?' she asked 

'It's just I was at the gymnasium and trying to learn some boxing,' he replied 

She gets her little soft hand on his face, 

'Does it still hurt??' 

'It relieves slightly with the warmth of your little hands,' he replied 

'Hmm!, I see that,' she nodded and smiled 

Just at the moment, Subhash entered the class, 

'Hi!, Ashvini, ' He said 

'Ohh!, Hi Palki,' he added as he saw her standing and leaning forward on the desk of Ashvini 

'Hi,' She replied as dry and cold, it could be 

Where the hell did he come so early!!, she thought 

'Okay, Ashvini, we'll talk later,' she added 

'What's wrong with this girl's attitude?' Subhash whispered near Ashvini
